Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 145: Lupin pack - 40••
Chapter 145: Lupin pack - 40••
Silas’s POV
After a while, we sat inside the jet. It was enormous and luxurious from the inside. There were seats for four people together and behind them, seats for two.
As I was about to sit in the back seat with Velric, Damon suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me to the seat meant for four people.
"What are you doing? I don’t want to sit here!"
I was about to stand up since Velric was still standing near the back seat, but everyone entered one by one.
When Theron and Lysnder came in, they quickly went to Velric, and both sat in front of me while Velric sat on Theron’s lap. Damon was sitting beside me.
In that moment, Kael entered with Shine, and they both sat in the back seat.
I sighed and stayed in my seat. Honestly, I didn’t want to sit beside Kael at all. It was fine for me to sit beside Damon, but not Kael.
I kept my head down, feeling embarrassed for no reason. Just then, Damon tapped my shoulder, and I glanced at him.
"Is everything alright?" I asked
"That’s my question. Are you okay?"
"I’m fine."
I leaned back on the seat, watching Velric and Theron.
Then, Damon leaned closer to my ear and whispered, "Hey, your lips are indeed swollen. Did I kiss you that hard?"
My heart almost stopped. I quickly covered his mouth with both hands and glanced around to see if anyone heard him. Thankfully, Theron and Lysnder were too busy talking to Velric.
I shot a glare at Damon to shut him up, but he just chuckled, clearly amused by my panic. He’s such a devil. How can he talk about that so casually?
Doesn’t he feel embarrassed or regret what he did to me last night? But looking at his face, there was no sign of regret—only a satisfied smile. It seemed like he was genuinely in a good mood.
And just when I thought it was over, he licked my hand. I yanked my hands back quickly, and suddenly my seat jolted forward. It felt like someone had kicked it from behind.
I turned around and saw Kael, his glare sharp.
"Kael, behave yourself," Damon scolded him.
But I quickly got up from my seat and went to the back, where Kael and Shine were sitting. It was a little far, yet Kael still managed to kick my seat.
"Hey, go sit with your brothers. I want to sit with my manager."
I said it because I knew Kael got angry whenever he saw me with his brothers. I didn’t want to be around him.
"Silas, he’s childish. Don’t take his actions to heart. Come back to your seat," Damon called out.
In Damon’s eyes, Kael’s actions were just childish, but they felt more than that. That kick was no joke. Before I could respond, Kael quickly stood up, glaring at me, and went to sit in my seat beside Damon.
I glanced at Velric, who smiled at me from Theron’s lap. Taking a deep breath, I sat beside Shine, grabbing his hand and resting my head on his shoulder.
"I’m sorry, Shine. I left you all alone. I’m such a terrible artist. You must regret becoming my manager, right?"
I genuinely felt guilty for leaving him behind when the brothers took me to the ambulance. He didn’t know anyone in this pack. How did he manage to survive alone?
"What are you saying? Why would I regret it? It was my choice to become your manager, and I don’t regret it at all. Besides, it wasn’t that bad. All the soldiers were so handsome, and they took great care of me."
"Really? Tell me what happened. Did you have a crush on any soldier?"
"There was one soldier I had a crush on. He was so nice to me, but then I found out he already had a mate. They’re not official yet because his mate is from another pack."
Even as he spoke, Shine’s expression looked sad. It was clear that knowing the person he liked was already taken hurt him.
"It’s alright. I’m sure you’ll meet someone who will love you and take great care of you. Believe me."
I’m not great at comforting people, but I tried because I could somehow relate. Just like I had a crush on Lysnder, but he only treated me kindly and nothing more.
"Yeah, I believe that too. I don’t want to be single anymore."
His situation was just like mine. I also wanted to be in a relationship, but who could I even be with? I didn’t know any Alpha in my life.
"Shine, if you need a shoulder to cry on, I’m here, okay?"
"No need. It doesn’t hurt me anymore. I never confessed my feelings to that soldier, so thank God I didn’t."
He didn’t confess. That was good because if he had and found out later that the soldier was already committed, it would’ve been awkward.
"Was that soldier that handsome? Tell me which one it was!"
"Do you remember the soldier whose hand I was holding when we were running to save ourselves?"
"Yes! That one! He was super handsome. Anyone would fall for him just by looking!"
"You’re right, Silas."
"Still, it’s a blessing to be taken care of by such a handsome Alpha, so it doesn’t matter if he’s committed or not," I said.
As I spoke, I noticed those four glancing at me—they must have heard our conversation.
It was embarrassing for me, so I lowered my voice. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
"Except for that soldier, did you find any other soldier attractive?" I asked.
"No, he was the only one who was my type. The others were just average, so I didn’t like anyone else."
"But what about you, Silas? What type of Alpha is your type?"
"My type? I think... I don’t know because I’ve never thought about it."
We chatted for a while, and eventually, I fell asleep with my head resting on Shine’s shoulder.
