Chapter 161: Misunderstanding - 10

Silas’s POV

"No one can beat Silas... remember this."

It was my own voice, but who was I telling this to? And then I realized—I was telling this to myself. It was like I was reminding myself that I am not that weak.

And when I opened my eyes, I felt those tight grips on my legs and hands. Their creepy faces were smiling while looking at me, like they were looking down on me just because I was an omega.

But I couldn’t take this anymore. That’s why I started to move my legs, and those who were gripping them loosened their hold. As soon as the grip loosened, I kicked one of them in the stomach. He fell back instantly with just one kick. Hearing the sound of him hitting the ground gave me satisfaction.

"What is this whóre doing?"

The other one, who was still holding onto one of my legs while cursing at me, got a kick to the face with the same leg. I quickly pushed everyone away from me and stood up.

As I stood there, seeing all of them made me excited—like they were my prey now. A moment ago, I was the one feeling like prey, but everything changed in just a second. I think I’ve always been this crazy and psychotic.

"Ha ha ha ha!"

I started to laugh because their faces looked completely shocked and confused, like they were still processing what was happening.

And just then, the man who had been holding the hammer earlier stepped forward. I was ready to fight, getting into position, but then my gaze fell on his hands—they were empty. But wasn’t he holding a hammer?

I glanced around as he took steps toward me, and that’s when I noticed—the hammer was lying near my feet.

A smirk spread across my lips as I bent down and picked it up.

After picking it up, without any warning, I swung the hammer in the air. Of course, I was just checking if it was heavy or not—and luckily, it wasn’t heavy at all. I liked it.

I looked at the man standing right in front of me.

"Don’t touch my hammer with those dirty hands of yours."

As he said that, he rushed toward me at full speed, aiming to punch me in the face. I knew that punch would definitely hurt if it landed. That’s why, with the same speed, I swung the hammer again—but this time, it didn’t go to waste. It struck the man’s head directly, and within a second, blood started dripping down from his head onto his face.

And then he fell. Because when you get hit on the head, you start to feel dizzy.

Seeing that, the expressions on the other men’s faces told me just how much they despised me. But the feeling was mutual.

Suddenly, one of them—the one holding the shackles—stepped toward me. The way he gripped them tightly in his fist made it clear: he was either planning to strangle me with them or tie me up.

"Hey, you should’ve cooperated. Since you’re beautiful, we wouldn’t have harmed you that much. Just looking at you makes me hot," the man said, stopping in place.

I was still holding the hammer—and it wasn’t just for show. They had already seen what I could do with it.

One of their friends was still lying on the ground. Seeing him like that, they were ready to take revenge. The man who had stopped earlier now started moving toward me again. I was ready too.

As soon as he got close, I was about to swing the hammer to strike him, but then—

"MUMMA!"

The moment I heard Velric’s voice, I quickly turned toward the direction it came from.

And there he was—one of the men, holding a big knife sharp enough to cut meat, had Velric lifted in the air by his clothes.

I understood everything now. They had deliberately taken Velric out of the room to weaken me.

And suddenly, that man placed the knife against Velric’s neck.

A big knife on little Velric’s neck—just the sight of it was heartbreaking. Even though he understood what was happening, Velric stood there silently, holding back his tears.

"Mumma, don’t worry. They won’t harm me. They’re just trying to scare you," Velric said.

The moment he spoke, that man suddenly slapped him.

As soon as he did, I rushed toward him, but he moved the knife even closer to Velric’s neck. I had no other choice—I threw the hammer to the ground.

"Did you really think that I was able to hit you just because I had a hammer? Wrong. It wasn’t because of the hammer," I said, my eyes fixed on Velric.

"Hey, take off all your clothes right now. I want to see your naked body," the man holding Velric ordered me.

Did he really think I would just do as he said just because he had grabbed the child?

And then, suddenly—Velric grabbed the knife.

"Kill me... but don’t make my mumma take off his clothes."

"Velric, let go of the knife right now!" I shouted.

Hearing me, Velric quickly released his grip on the knife. There was blood on Velric’s palm—his hand had been cut. And it was all because of this man.

"You all were doing whatever you wanted with me—I didn’t really care. But you shouldn’t have brought a kid into this fight... You made a mistake. Now, pay for it with your life."

I stood there without saying or doing anything, their eyes fixed on me.

And then, I noticed a table lamp.

Without wasting a second, I quickly stepped back, grabbed the lamp, and hurled it at the man one who was holding Velric. The moment it hit him, his grip loosened, and Velric ran straight to me.

As he ran to me, I quickly picked up Velric and placed him on the table. freeweɓnovel.cøm

"Cover your ears and your eyes, okay, Velric? Don’t remove your hands or open your eyes until I tell you to."

Velric nodded and covered his ears with his tiny hands and close his eyes

The moment he did, I turned my gaze toward those men—because now, I wasn’t going to let a single one of them go.
