Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 251: Shine’s blind date ( 4 )
Chapter 251: Shine’s blind date ( 4 )
On the other side, when Shine was on his blind date that night
Jerry’s ego was hurt because just a high schooler was now telling him how to behave with Shine, and he couldn’t bear that.
"Who the fuck do you think you are, telling me this?" Jerry’s tone was cold as ice.
He started to release his anger pheromones to make Grick regret it. But Grick didn’t even flinch.
He also started to release his pheromones. They were glaring at each other like they would start fighting at any moment.
Even though Jerry was big, Grick wasn’t going to take a step back. He was ready to use his fists for Shine.
Cough.
When they heard the coughing, they both noticed Shine there—and he was an omega, and their pheromones were making him uncomfortable.
Seeing that, both of them quickly suppressed their pheromones.
Jerry quickly grabbed Shine’s shoulder and pulled him closer, which made Grick angry, but he didn’t move and remained standing there.
Because he knew—it was his pheromones too that were making Shine uncomfortable.
"I don’t know where you came from, but don’t ever show up in front of Shine again." Jerry gave a warning and left with Shine.
"I’m sorry, Shine," Grick apologized, and Shine nodded like it was okay.
As they came out of the restaurant, Jerry’s car was parked there. He opened the car door for Shine, and when he got in, Jerry did too.
"Are you okay? How are you feeling now? I’m really sorry about earlier. I shouldn’t have lost my temper."
"It’s okay, don’t apologize for that. But I didn’t understand—how did you know I was here?"
"Sorry about that. I tracked your location. When my work was done, I left my pack and came straight here. After reading your message, I wanted to meet you and give you a surprise. But you gave me a surprise—you were on a blind date."
"I told you my mom made me go on blind dates, and this was the last time. So don’t worry."
Jerry started driving after hearing that.
But he was silent, staring ahead, and from his face, it was clear to Shine that Jerry seemed angry.
"Shine, I’ll drop you home since it’s already late at night. We’ll go to dinner next time."
Shine nodded because he didn’t know what to say anymore. He sighed and started scrolling on his phone.
"Do you like young guys?"
While turning the steering wheel, Jerry muttered. Shine realized he had said something, but couldn’t hear clearly. So he glanced at Jerry.
"Did you say something, Jerry?"
Jerry looked at Shine like he hadn’t said anything.
"No, I didn’t say anything."
"Okay, I must’ve imagined it then."
Shine focused on his phone again while Jerry was gazing at him while driving—like he might eat him.
After a while, when they reached the front of Shine’s building, Jerry also got out of the car and opened the door for him.
When Shine got out and was about to go inside, Jerry held his hand to stop him.
"Shine, can we talk for a moment?"
Shine pulled his hand back and stood in front of him.
"Yes?"
"Do you like that kid you were eating with in the restaurant?"
"Are you talking about Grick? No way. Why would I like him? He’s a kid—so much younger than me. How can you think something like that?"
Jerry scratched his head and looked around because he was hesitating to say what was on his mind.
"Shine, if your parents are telling you to get engaged, then why don’t I help you?"
"What do you mean by this? I don’t understand, Jerry."
Shine understood what Jerry meant but still asked—because he wanted to make sure he was right.
"You said your mom forces you to go on blind dates. That means she wants you to find a boyfriend. Then why don’t you introduce me to your parents as your boyfriend?"
"And you’re single. I am too. So even if we start dating, it’s not going to bother you, right?"
A smile spread across Shine’s lips, and he quickly joined his hand with Jerry’s.
"You know, when I messaged you in the morning, I wanted to ask you the same thing."
When Jerry first saw Shine in Meyer’s villa, he had fallen for him at first sight.
That’s why he even played the hide-and-seek game with him—though he doesn’t like showing his childish, playful side to anyone. But for Shine, he had to.
Every day, after finishing work, he used to head home because he lived alone.
And after tirelessly working all day, he would just sleep.
But since he saw Shine’s message, he didn’t rest and directly traveled from his pack to the Bloodfang Pack—just to meet Shine.
And when he heard Shine also wanted to ask him the same thing, his heart fluttered.
The emotion he felt—he couldn’t even put into words. And when Shine joined his hand with Jerry’s...
Jerry felt like his heart was going to burst because it was literally pounding in his chest.
After standing there for 10 full minutes, Shine decided to go inside with Jerry.
Jerry agreed. They both went into the building, caught the elevator, and when they reached in front of the house, Shine rang the doorbell.
It took a few seconds for the door to open.
The one who opened the door was his father—and his eyes widened, seeing Shine with an alpha.
Jerry was wearing a black shirt with a long coat over it, and he looked extremely handsome.
"Wh–Who is he, Shine? ...Honey, come here quickly! See who Shine has brought home!"
Shine’s mother was in the bedroom, but upon hearing his father, she came out—and her eyes also widened in surprise.
"Why are you both still standing outside? Come in."
When she asked them to come in, they entered. Jerry bowed to Shine’s parents and sat down on the sofa.
It was little awkward for him since he was meeting them for the first time and same goes for shine’s parents too.
