Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 262: Flashback - 2
Chapter 262: Flashback - 2
"Here you are?"
As those words reached Silas’s ears, he looks up and saw Kael’s three brothers standing there. They had been standing a little far away the whole time.
"What are you guys doing here? Can’t you see we want some privacy?"
"What privacy?? By the way, hello, I’m Lysander," Lysander said, shaking hands with Silas.
Silas didn’t know what to say, but since Lysander also sat down beside him while introducing himself and shaking his hand, Silas didn’t want to be rude.
"Hello, my name is Silas," he said softly.
Just then, Damon also extended his hand to shake with Silas.
"Hello, I am Damon and I am from the Miren Pack... Pleased to meet you, Silas." Silas shook his hand with Damon.
But instead of letting Silas’s hand go, he leaned down and kissed it before letting go, which made Silas blush.
As he looked up, his eyes fell on Theron. He was standing there, looking around like he was shy, and then he also extended his hand.
"My name is Theron."
Silas smiled and shook hands with him as well.
In two minutes, Silas was sitting there—on his right side was Kael, on his left was Lysander, and in front of him were Damon and Theron.
He was feeling nervous, unsure of what to say now, because they were all Alphas and had surrounded him.
If by any chance Jeren saw this, then the death of all four was confirmed.
"If you don’t know, then let me tell you—I am an Omega. You all can’t sit around me like this, like you’re planning to do something bad to me."
Silas’s voice was low, but what he said was heard very clearly by all four of them.
They glanced at each other and moved a little back from Silas, realizing they were making him uncomfortable.
To break the silence, Kael gave a rock to Silas that was lying scattered around them.
"Why are you giving me a rock? I read in a book that they give roses, don’t they, to whoever they like?"
Kael’s face turned red like a tomato because he hadn’t thought much before giving the rock to Silas.
But when he heard Silas’s words, he realized why his heart had started beating so fast the moment he first saw him.
Just then, Orian comes back in a hurry, and seeing him, all of their attention went to him.
"Silas, let’s go. Dad’s guard is here to search for us. If they see you sitting with all these Alphas, this is gonna create a huge problem."
Silas quickly stood upon hearing Orian, but as he was about to go, Kael grabbed his hand while still sitting, which made Silas glance at him.
"What happened, Kael?" he asked.
"We’re staying in your pack for one week, so if you want to meet us again, just come to Lotus Manor."
Lotus Manor is the place where rich people stay after coming into this pack, ’cuz just staying in Lotus Manor for one night costs a lot—something only rich people can afford, not any commoners.
Silas glanced at everyone after hearing that, and ran away from there with Orian, while the four brothers kept looking at him from behind.
As they both returned to the ceremony, Jeren felt relieved. Otherwise, he had been worried if his sons were not in front of his eyes.
And just like that, the Coming of Age ceremony night ended, sending every guest back to their packs.
The next day, when Silas woke up, he thought about meeting those four. That’s why he made a plan.
According to it, they would go out into the city today with guards as usual—but then Silas was going to ditch the guards and make his way to Lotus Manor.
And just like they thought, they did it too.
Silas wore a mage gown to hide his appearance from everyone, and when he stepped into Lotus Manor, they stopped him at the gate and asked if he wanted to get a room.
"No, I’m here for someone. They are staying here," Silas replied.
"Then I’ll have to ask you to leave, ’cause without a token, you can’t enter inside Lotus Manor."
If Silas showed his face now, they would let him go inside in a second—but that could cause a huge problem, ’cause the next second, they’d inform Jeren exactly where Silas was.
That’s why he had to stay hidden. And just then, someone placed a hand on Silas’s shoulder, which made him turn around—and when he saw, it was another Alpha.
"Hey, you’re an Omega? If you want to get inside, I can take you—but you’ll have to stay with me tonight."
Without a second thought, Silas grabbed that Alpha’s hand and twisted it. But as he did, others’ attention went to Silas, which was not good at all.
"Ohh, you’re really here."
As Silas heard this, he turned to his side and saw Theron and Kael there.
He quickly went to them, but the Alpha whose hand Silas had twisted was very angry and was about to step forward to hit Silas. But seeing Theron and Kael there, he understood he shouldn’t mess with them.
So, he left quietly. And since Theron and Kael knew Silas, no one stopped them from taking him inside.
Silas went with them, but he had a feeling that he was doing something wrong—like, he had only met them last night and now he came here.
What if they really did something to him? But it’s not like he was weak or anything.
Because Jeren had taught them every kind of fight and every way to kill someone without even letting anyone know.
He taught them in the hope that if one day he failed to protect them, then they should be able to protect themselves.
When Kael and Theron brought Silas inside, it was big—because they had rented half the manor.
"Kael, how did you recognize it was me?"
"I can recognize you even if you wear more layers of clothes and even become a rice ball."
As they reached the yard, Damon and Lysander were sitting there playing cards. Hearing the conversation, they glanced up and saw Silas there.
Both Lysander’s and Damon’s eyes widened in shock, and they both stopped playing and came to Silas.
"Silas, you’re here to meet me, right?" Lysander asked.
"Lysander, he came to meet me, not you," Kael replied.
