Mated To My Boyfriend's Dad-Chapter 212: Repaying Their Violence
Chapter 212: Repaying Their Violence
(Warning: Disturbing graphics and violence ahead)
Fergus didn’t have time to worry about his growing ’humanity’ as he glanced at the fairy. He was almost done with his long-ass spell but Fergus had doubts about it. It could definitely hinder him from stepping outside.
He wanted to experience the thrill. He wanted to immerse himself in the hunt with his brothers and sisters! He needed to go out there and join in the fun.
So without any warning, he dashed out of the tent, barely a few seconds before Celest’s spell was activated. The spell caused a protective bubble to envelope the entire tent, just as Fergus had suspected. It prevented them from coming out but also prevented the vampires from coming in.
Kylo shifted back to his human form, looking at Fergus with bulged eyes. "Cullen, have you gone insane? Get back in here, we have to keep ourselves protected until help arrives." He snarled, his face contorting into a worried frown.
A smirk crept at the corner of Fergus’s lips. Hmph... It seems the Gamma’s son was warming up to him after all. He knew it was inevitable anyway. He was just that charming.
"People might be getting hurt, Kylo." Fergus feigned concern, swerving his head every which way for dramatic effect. "I have to go help them. I can’t just sit idly and do nothing."
He spoke amidst the surrounding chaos, as vampires and wolves clashed with snarls and howls, with both sides suffering losses. It was a bloody sight, but Fergus wasn’t in the least bothered by it.
Without uttering another word, he sprinted out of Kylo’s sight, but the latter yelled trying to call him back. "Cullen! Cullen, get back here! You idiot, you’ll get yourself killed."
Oh, relax silly wolf. He was more than capable of taking care of himself.
With one leap, he climbed up a tree, blending in with the shadows its leaves and branches provided. From this height, he was able to spot Gamma Rhett in the distance fighting off several vampires on his own, without even turning to his wolf form. freёweɓnovel.com
Fergus gritted his teeth as he watched the Gamma cut off the heads of several of his brethren with his silver sword. However, he paused, squinting his eyes when he realized something. He couldn’t help stifling a chuckle when he looked around and didn’t spot him. The Beta.
He smirked coldly as he sniffed the air, trying to pick up the idiot’s scent. He’d promised himself to add the Beta to his hit list, so why not just do it earlier rather than later?
Finally, he was able to trace the Beta’s scent to one of the wooden buildings. It’s show time!
With a leap, he left the tree he was on and landed on another one. He continued like that until he was close enough to the building, before using his vamp speed to get to it and scale it to the top.
He got to the window where the Beta’s scent was coming from and broke it, before jumping into the room, startling the Beta.
"C– Cullen Freeman?" Beta Darius’s brows creased into a frown as he eyed Fergus from head to toe. Then he snarled with a harsh tone. "What’s the meaning of this?! Do you want to attract those bloodsuckers to me? Are you trying to get me killed?"
Fergus smiled amusingly, watching the Beta intently. He’d had his eyes on him for a while now. Especially ever since he found out that his bastard nephew had dared to lay his hands on Isleen.
Oh, that’s right, Drach was next on his hit list too. He wasn’t done with his mission yet, so why not just kill those who he found an eyesore while simultaneously getting closer to completing his mission?
"Trust me, Darius. You’d beg for death’s sweet release by the time I’m done with you." His eyes flashed with a red light for a split second, as he strutted menacingly toward the Beta.
The Beta’s eyes shone with shock and trepidation as he stumbled backward until he fell butt-first to the ground. He stretched out both his hands, his face contorting with horror.
"W– what are you?" He stammered, his eyes darting around the room desperately.
Fergus grinned as he inched closer, each step sounding like the grim reaper had come for the Beta. "I am the king of shadows. The monster under your children’s bed that they run screaming to your rooms about. I am... Fergus." He stretched out his arms dramatically, delighting in Darius’s peril.
Yes! More! He wanted more of that. The fear. The despair... He wanted all of it. But there was still one more feeling missing from the Beta right now that he wanted to see.
Pain.
"G– guards!" Beta Darius screamed like a pansy, as he struggled to get on his feet.
Oh no you don’t.
All it took was a single step for him to get right in front of the Beta. He seized his jaw, forcing him to swallow his screams.
"Aww, why are you trying to bring in a third party into our date? I thought we were having a moment?" Fergus feigned a sad look, as he tightened his grip on Darius’s jaw.
Suddenly, he heard the incoming footsteps of some soldiers, followed by the undeniable scent of wolves.
Drats!
"Beta Darius! Is everything o–" A soldier stepped into the room and was about to ask about the Beta’s well-being, but Fergus didn’t let him finish.
He let go of the Beta, dropping him to the ground again, and then went for the soldier. He grabbed his throat before he could even process what was happening, and then with one swift twist, he snapped his neck, breaking it like a twig. The sound of his snapping neck was like music to his ears.
As if that wasn’t enough, he slowly ripped the wolf’s head away from his neck, causing blood to gush out of the bloody stump where his head once belonged and spray everywhere, painting the wooden floor a crimson red. And just like that, he’d killed a wolf. It hadn’t even taken five seconds.
Darius was speechless, as he began whimpering in fear. His face was now covered in snot, tears, and sweat and Fergus hadn’t even done anything to him. Yet.
Just then, two more soldiers walked in, meeting the bloody scene in the room with horrified gazes.
"What the–" one of the soldiers was about to react but Fergus didn’t let him.
He got to them with one swift movement, standing behind them in a second. Before they could react, he grabbed their heads too. "Sorry, you guys. A vampire’s gotta eat." Was the last thing they heard from him.
And with that, he used both his hands to simultaneously snap their necks, cutting them off with one pull. Just like the first soldier, blood sprayed out of the bloody stumps where their heads once were, painting his body and the floor a crimson red.
Magnifico!
A few minutes ago, Kylo and his father had both cut off the heads of his brethren, leaving him with a weird feeling. Now he was repaying his violence three times over. And he now had three meals to feed on.
Oops! Maybe make that four.
He turned his gaze to the mortified Beta, who looked at the dead bodies before him like he’d seen a ghost. Three ghosts, actually.
He grinned widely before asking. "So... Where were we?"
