As Megan, Zac, and Alice kept fighting the two androids in the hangar, they heard a loud boom coming from inside the facilities, making them wonder if Dante and the vampires were okay.

Suddenly, the alarm that was resounding all over the mountain went silent, and as one of the androids got distracted by the abrupt change, Alice shot two rounds that hit the male android in the head.

Zac also got distracted by the sudden silence, and after hearing a gun blasting, he moved to the side out of reflex. However, he still got shot in the shoulder.

Before he could get shot a second time, Megan kicked Zac out of the way, making him land beside a couple of armored boxes that protected him from the hail of bullets.

The brunette pulled out her pistol and returned the fire to their opponents, taking cover behind one of the military planes in the hangar.

When Megan sat down to reload her pistol, she suddenly heard the sound of circuits blowing up, prompting her to peek out of her cover to find Asphodel breaking the female android's body in half with her bare hands.

The male android was still operating after being shot in the head by Alice, but before he could go on the offensive, the Vampire Mother had already appeared beside him, waving her hand to the side as if she were swatting a fly and ripping the male's android head from his body.

'Holy shit…' Megan thought, remembering how she fought Asphodel not long ago, and while she knew that she wouldn't have a chance at beating her, she wasn't expecting her to be even stronger.

After the two androids were out of commission, the five scientists joined them in the hangar, feeling glad that Gin, the mechanic, was safe.

"Where's Dante?" Megan asked.

["I'm almost there!"] Dante replied on their earpieces.

A few seconds later, the warlock arrived at the hangar after rushing through the laboratory, and the group was confused when they spotted the female, blonde android following him.

"Woooo! We are outside!" Forty-two exclaimed with a wide smile on her face as she jumped with joy.

'HUH!?' The entire group thought in unison, as they had never seen such a cheery android before.

"Dante… What did you do?" Asphodel inquired, slightly perplexed at the aura emanating from Forty-two.

"Heh… I'll explain later. Let's get out of here first," Dante replied with a cheeky smile.

With haste, the group started boarding a sizeable military plane, taking the scientists, the engineer, and Forty-two along with them.

The only people who had some experience piloting were Gin, who worked on all the aircrafts, and Alice, who had basic training while she was a detective.

As the two of them sat in the front, with Alice as the co-pilot, the plane began to move and accelerate as the laboratory started exploding.

"Oh, yeah… The entire place is self-destructing, so we should leave quickly," Dante commented, prompting Gin to step on the gas to get away from the mountain hangar as soon as possible.

Right as the plane left through the wide opening, the group could hear the rest of the laboratory blowing up in flames, making them exhale with relief.

Megan and Alice contacted Camille, who had been hanging out with Lilith in the GTS territory and was coincidentally flying back to Novis that day.

Since the vampire's manor didn't have a landing strip for the plane, they decided they would fly all the way to Novis as well and meet up with the Jade Dragons. Their last mission had been completed, and there was a lot of information that needed to be shared.

While Alice and Gin drove the plane, Zac sat down and tried to take the bullet out of his shoulder so that he could heal the wound, but the pain didn't let him reach it.

"Ah, can I help?" Forty-two asked, approaching the redhead with a curious expression.

"What? Uhh, sure…" Zac replied, slightly puzzled about the strange android.

As Forty-two raised her arm, her thumb and index finger retracted inside of her hand and switched them for a pair of thin pincers, allowing her to easily get inside Zac's wound and pull out the bullet.

"That… wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thanks!" Zac said with a genuine smile that made the android feel slightly embarrassed.

"So… Dante. Are you going to explain what you did?" Asphodel inquired, gazing at the android.

"Ermm, well…" Dante replied, humbly scratching the back of his head as he explained everything that happened from his side.

When the warlock discovered that there were genuine emotions that were trying to come out of Forty-two, he realized that they were incomplete as she didn't have a soul that could express them.

Moreover, after the android explained how her E.E.M.P worked, he theorized that the Azure Rebels were trying to build her to resemble an actual human as much as possible.

However, while the program was extremely advanced, the engineers seemed unaware of the fact that a soul was needed to convey those emotions properly.

"It seems like her programmed emotions began rapidly developing when she heard the souls of the people talking to her from the core…" Dante explained.

"Hmm, but only a very robust soul would be able to get in someone else's body… And considering the androids aren't truly humans, I can't see how that would work," Asphodel commented.

"Dude… Did you put one of those souls inside of the android?" Zac asked.

"What? No… Only necromancers can do that," Dante replied.

As Asphodel took another glance at Forty-two, who sat beside Dante with a slight smile on her face, her eyes widened when she noticed the energy flowing from her body.

"You… Are you serious!?" The Vampire Mother exclaimed.

"Wha-what? What am I missing?" Zac pondered with curiosity.

"It seems the android was given a demon's soul…" Ezekiel interjected, inspecting Forty-two closer.

"Not just any demon…" Asphodel continued, making the Omega Team a bit nervous.

"Wh-which demon is that?" Zac asked, hesitating as he knew the answer would shock him.

"I used the frame of Astaroth's soul…" Dante responded, leaving everyone inside the plane in utter silence.
