Mommy Villainess-Chapter 388: The Ultimate Weapon

<"KYRO is watching– you better heal your husband away from your father-in-law’s prying eyes!">

Tilly was still confused as to what the Black Flame was really trying to do.

But she agreed that they shouldn’t show Kyro their next move.

Her thoughts were distracted when she saw Wixx plummet to the ground after Kyro, who was still suspended in the air while looking down at them, pushed her brother down with a wave of his demonic energy.

And then Kyro created a huge ball of Hellfire.

[Tsk.]

"Luna, create a barrier!"

Tilly immediately stood up, kicked her foot on the ground, and shot up at the sky with her flaming black wings protruding on her back.

"You’re here, daughter-in-law?" Kyro greeted her indifferently. "Where’s your mother-in-law?"

"Buried six feet under," Tilly lied with a straight face, making the Moon God glare at her. "Don’t worry, father-in-law– you’re next."

She created a huge ball of Black Flame and threw it at Kyro’s Hellfire.

The two flames collided mid-air– causing the sky to shake and create an explosion.

She was about to make a barrier to protect herself, but somebody had already done it for her.

It was Wixx and the Keepers.

Yes, the Keepers (except for Wong and Kelsi who were definitely dealing with the White Snake at the moment) had finally arrived and were now surrounding her to make sure she wouldn’t be hit by the flying debris.

"Soleil, get out of here with your husband and Luna. Bring that Fire Wielder with you, too," Wixx said without looking back at her. "Me and the Keepers will deal with Kyro. Go and save the Black Serpent first."

That was what she wanted to do.

However...

"I’m worried about you, Brother," Tilly said. "We just caught the White Snake. She said Kyro isn’t a demon but the Devil incarnate himself."

Wixx flinched, but he still didn’t turn to her. It couldn’t be helped since the Red Phoenix was clearly in deep concentration to maintain the barrier from Kyro’s balls of Hellfire. "Thank you for telling me that, Soleil. But I won’t change my mind– I will handle Kyro and the Keepers will stay with me here."

Ah, that tone.

[It’s the tone my brother uses when his decision is final.]

"I’m sorry for leaving it to you, Brother. I’ll be back after I’m done treating Kiho’s injuries," Tilly said while descending, then she turned around to meet the gaze of her Keepers one by one. "Everyone, you’re not allowed to die– and that’s an order."

TILLY would never cease to be amazed by Luna’s teleportation skills.

As soon as she landed on the ground, the teleportation circle was already one. It seemed like Luna had heard it when Wixx asked her to leave with her group.

[This is why Luna is so dependable.]

And, now, Tilly and her group were in the old Nystrom Mansion in the capital.

"I made a portal connected to this mansion before, so this is the quicket route my teleportation spell could take us," Luna explained. "And we’re at least safer here than anywhere else in the capital at the moment."

Tilly nodded in agreement. "You did well, Luna."

After thanking the witch, she turned to the bed.

Mikhail Denver had just finished putting Kiho to bed, the Black Serpent still unconscious.

[And the Hellfire on my husband’s stomach is still there.]

It was actually a miracle that Kiho’s skin hadn’t melted yet.

"Don’t be too complacent, Tilly," Luna said when the witch noticed that Tilly was looking at Kiho with a relieved look on her face. "The Hellfire is actually melting Kiho’s insides." She pointed a finger at Kiho’s stomach, then to his chest. "I can feel the Hellfire navigating to get to where the Black Serpent’s heart is."

Ah.

Tilly felt a chill down her spine.

[Of course, Kyro would target Kiho’s heart since it’s where his Core is.]

Kiho had the body of a Beast God.

Hence, it wouldn’t be easy even for Kyro to rip Kiho’s heart out of his chest.

"What?"

Tilly and Luna both turned to Mikhail Denver who was talking to the communication device attached to his ear.

The captain’s face was grim when he ended the call.

[It must be Flint and the Fire Wielders.]

Tilly, who understood what might be happening, nodded when her eyes met Mikhail Denver’s. As a leader, she recognized the look on the captain’s face– it was the look that said his members needed him. "Go. We’ll be fine here. I’ll hear the full report in details later."

"Thank you, Supreme," Mikhail Denver said, then he bowed towards her and Luna. "Please take care, Lady Nystrom and Miss Luna."

After bidding them goodbye, Mikhail Denver then left quickly.

"Luna, first things first," Tilly said. It wasn’t like Kiho’s current state wasn’t important. But she was there with her husband. That wasn’t the case for her babies. "Did you figure out where Aku Moonchester brought my children?"

Luna nodded. "The magic circle was headed to the Plane."

The Plane?

She was confused, but also quite relieved.

"Solenn and Saint Forrester are in the Plane," Tilly said, sighing. "I just hope they’re still there."

"I already sent a message to Saint Forrester. He hasn’t responded yet, though."

"Thank you, Luna."

Luna just nodded before changing the subject. "You were talking to someone earlier, Tilly. Was it the Black Flame?"

It wasn’t hard to deduce that she was talking to the Black Flame since she didn’t have a communication device earlier.

"Yeah, it was the Black Flame," Tilly confirmed, nodding. "She told me to devour the Hellfire."

The witch fell silent for a moment. "Hmm. That makes sense. You already swallowed the sun once. Devouring the Hellfire might be possible for you, Tilly."

"Why does it sound like you think I have a black hole in my stomach..."

She trailed off.

A black hole?

It wasn’t a black hole, but she had something similar to it.

<"That’s right, slowpoke,"> the Black Flame said. Fortunately, the Black Flame wasn’t yelling in her mind this time. <"You have the Abyss.">

"Let’s do this," Tilly said, opening her hand until a small a small black ball of energy appeared above her palm. "Black Flame, control the Abyss well– we’re going to devour the Hellfire and save my husband."

[Children, wait for us for a bit longer...]
