Mountain Sitting Immortal-Chapter 220: A Way Out.
Other examinees were probably coming to the same conclusion about the necessity for power. But they didn't have the confidence in their own power, so they were beginning to band together in order to solve their problems together.
After all, being together means a higher chance of survival. Numbers can sometimes make up for a lack of personal strength l.
With enough power or with enough people, the impact of luck can be mitigated to a certain extent. In fact, the effect of luck can be eliminated completely.

With enough power, there won't be a problem regardless of the quantity and quality of enemies. With enough power, there won't be a problem with preserving one's life in the water or on land.
He scratched his shin and thought to himself, "I have a lot of power. The only problem is adaptability. If I can't adapt to the water, I won't be able to exert my strength properly."
Then he chuckled and said, "How good would it be if there was a way to hunt without the need to adapt? If only there was a way to attack beasts and people in the water without going into the water myself, things would be so much easier for me."
He already made up his mind not to enter the water. Fortunately, he didn't need to enter the water to kill.
He stood there on the bank of the island watching the sea and the other examinees. Many people approached him for partnership even though he looked weird.
Actually, it didn't matter that he looked like a mummy. What mattered was that he looked strong, so they wanted to work together with him.
He rejected everyone that came to him offering cooperation. In his opinion, they were all prey to him. He was just waiting for them to fatten up before he began to gorge himself on them.
But he stopped paying attention to the other examinees when he noticed light flashing in the water around the island. The source of light was a round golden ring. It shone clearly through the water.
As he looked around, he saw many such rings of light frolicking around the island. From the number of rings in each cluster, he could tell the strength of the beasts.
Most of the beasts were fishes. But there were crabs and even turtles in the water. All of them were large. The smallest fish was about the size of a human.
Most of them were at the seventh transformation too. But there were tenth transformation beasts appearing occasionally.
These beasts at the tenth transformation were quite large. The turtle he saw that had that kind of power was the size of a car, while the fish he saw with that power was the size of a bus.
These large beasts caused the water to churn as they moved around. The cluster of light on their heads was also very bright because of the large number of rings in it.
The churning water and the bright light made these strong beasts eye-catching in the water. Other examinees also noticed the commotion. They became afraid when they saw the situation.
It is clear that they will be mogged as soon as they enter the water. They were going to be attacked in droves while trying to adapt to fighting in the water. From the looks of things, it was unlikely to end well.
Someone behind Arthur began to speak. This lady raised her voice and said to all of them, "This test is too dangerous. We should work together and advance together. Only then will you be able to score high on this test."
Arthur ignored her and drew his bow. He said with some regret, "It seems I will lose my arrows in this test. It is a pity."
He felt some pain at the prospect of losing his arrows, but he didn't hesitate in his actions. He pulled the bowstring back with all of his might and released the arrow after locking onto the strongest beast in his sight.
The strongest beast was a tenth transformation beast. He couldn't tell what exactly the beast was, but he didn't need to. All he needed to see were the rings of light on the beast's head.
There were four rings of light on the beast's head. This showed that it was at the tenth transformation. It also indicated where the beast's head was.
The rings of light were like a sign pointing out where he should target. He couldn't see the beast in its entirety because of the water. But the rings of light on its head shone in the darkness and pointed out the way for him.
He watched attentively as he released the arrow. The arrow sank into the water immediately. A split second after, the cluster of light on the beast's head went out.
Just as that happened, he received a reward of 100 performance points, and four rings of light appeared above his head.
This outcome made him smile. He said, "I could get used to this."
He wished he could do this forever, but he had only 20 arrows in his quiver. This limits the number of times he can snipe the beasts in the water.
Even so, if he can earn 100 performance points twenty times, he would have earned a total of 2,000 points. He thought that would be a great performance.
But he wasn't going to be content with that. Hunting fish is just one of the two options to earn points. He can still farm other examinees.
While he was in a good mood, the other examinees on the small island with him began to feel fear. They were afraid because they understood that if he could kill the beasts in the water while standing on land, he could also kill them in the water.
He didn't care about what they were thinking because they weren't a threat to him. But he did care about what kind of weapon they were using.
So he turned around to look at them. When he spotted what he wanted, his eyes lit up in excitement.
