Mrs. and Mr. Smith-Chapter 1439 - Dragon Tiger Pill
Chapter 1439: Chapter 1439: Dragon Tiger Pill
Chapter 1439 -1439: Dragon Tiger Pill
Ethan Smith nodded, following Justin Vasquez’s lead since he was his guide for this journey.
The entire Exchange Guild was an open market, where anyone with something to trade could come and swap items with others.
Some people set up stalls, displaying their treasure for all to see, while others, like Ethan Smith, strolled around, only making a move when they saw something they wanted.
At the Exchange Guild, Ethan saw a dazzling array of treasures, many of which left him astonished.
There were herbs for pill concoction, materials for tool refinement, top-notch cultivation skills, and even pill concoction techniques.
Many of these treasures tempted Ethan, but as he did not have anything to trade yet, and was entirely dependent on Justin, he tried to maintain an appearance of disinterest in everything.
Justin led Ethan along a long, winding path deep into the market.
He seemed to have a specific goal and did not pay much attention to the stalls on either side of the path.
Ethan, however, was like an overwhelmed country bumpkin, looking around at everything.
Just as the two had arrived at the Exchange Guild, news of their presence reached the First Elder of Cloud Sect.
Upon receiving the news, the First Elder immediately set out, heading straight for the Exchange Guild!
“I must kill Ethan Smith this time, not giving him even the slightest chance at survival!” The First Elder’s face was grim, his palm extending out, and a bronze-colored lamp was pulled out of the void.
This lamp had an already exhausted wick, and around it lingered a peculiar fragrance.
The lamp was called the Demon Conquering Lamp, one of the Cloud Sect’s treasures. It was said that its power was no less than that of a Reversion Void Artifact and that it was incredibly potent.
It had been a long time since the Cloud Sect had used such secret treasures, and now that the Demon Conquering Lamp was out, it was apparent that they meant business.
This signified the Cloud Sect’s determination to kill Ethan Smith in one blow and not give him any chance to escape!
With the lamp and several guardians in tow, the First Elder arrived at the Mountain Top Altar of the Cloud Sect.
It was an ancient and seemingly abandoned altar, and on it was an array platform that had not been used for many years!
This array platform was the legendary Teleportation array platform!
As the top sect in the Southern Province, the Cloud Sect naturally possessed teleportation formations!
However, without any urgent matters, they would not activate this platform.
“Ethan Smith, let’s see where you can run to this time!” The First Elder’s face was veiled in storm clouds as he muttered a spell. Numerous teleportation stones burst out from his Spatial Magic Artifact!
The First Elder personally guided the formation, knowing the coordinates of the Exchange Guild, and could swiftly arrive there using the teleportation array platform.
Mysterious rays of light landed on the array platform, and before them, it seemed a door to the void had been opened.
The First Elder, along with numerous guardians, stepped into the formation, heading straight for the Exchange Guild!
…
Exchange Guild.
Justin led Ethan to a stall.
Nearby, many people were watching the stall’s owner.
They were all mighty realm cultivators, their auras fluctuating vehemently.
The stall owner had his eyes closed and a sign set up in front of his stall, reading: ‘No treasure, do not speak.’
Such a stance expressed confidence.
Justin brushed through the onlookers, leading Ethan to the stall.
He cut to the chase, saying: “Stall owner, we are looking for Life Aura.”
Upon hearing the four words ‘Life Aura’, the surrounding gazes all fell upon Justin and Ethan.
“Huh? Isn’t that the Ethan Smith that the Cloud Sect is pursuing?” Someone nearby recognized Ethan.
“Ethan Smith? So you came to the Exchange Guild to seek refuge?” Another taunted.
Ethan could only force a bitter smile, not expecting his name to spread for such a reason.
The stall owner slowly opened his eyes upon hearing Ethan’s name.
“So you are that Ethan Smith?” the stall owner asked without looking sidelong.
Ethan bowed slightly in acknowledgment.
“I heard you need Life Aura urgently, right?” the stall owner asked.
Ethan nodded, “That’s right, Life Aura is indeed very important to me.”
“Stall owner, you don’t have to beat around the bush; just state your conditions,” Justin said.
He flipped his palm and took out a few pills.
“These are Dragon Tiger Pills that I have treasured for many years, passed down from my father. In a great war back then, hundreds were used, and now only three remain,” explained Justin.
“So, trading these three pills for your Life Aura, what do you think?”
Upon hearing the words ‘Dragon Tiger Pill’, the surrounding people became interested.
“Dragon Tiger Pill? Is that the pill rumored to increase one’s strength for a short period after consumption?” Someone nearby exclaimed.
“Not only can this pill enhance one’s strength, but it can also rapidly restore one’s qi within a very short time. It’s indeed a rare pill and plays a crucial role in great wars.”
“Yes, back in the day, Dragon Tiger Pills were common on battlefields, but they disappeared later.”
However, the stall owner sneered, “The Dragon Tiger Pill indeed is not bad, but it’s a pity that it damages one’s foundation, isn’t it?”
