Multiversal Friendship System-Chapter 244 - 243: Souta, If You Crossdress, I’ll Forgive You Part 2
Chapter 244 - 243: Souta, If You Crossdress, I’ll Forgive You Part 2
There were plenty of dangerous species in the world of Akame ga Kill. Souta had barely ventured into the mountains before capturing five or six of them and alongside them, over a dozen wild beasts.
Using the surrounding materials, he manipulated matter to collapse part of the mountainside into a massive pit. Then, he tossed Syura and twenty different "beast senpai" varieties, right into it.
Of course, he didn't forget the drugs to boost their breeding instincts.
To avoid infighting among the beasts, Souta implanted mental suggestions: when they saw Syura, they would hallucinate and perceive him as a female of their own species and when they looked at each other, they'd just think, "All my bros are here."
And bros, of course, share everything.
Which meant Syura was absolutely screwed.
Why didn't Souta just grab the same species for this?
Because Kurumi and the girls insisted on "diversity", Syura had to experience variety. So... could Souta refuse?
Of course not.
None of this was his idea.
He was a good, proper person.
He didn't have any weird fetishes.
He was being forced—coerced, really...
"I swear I'll kill you—aaAAAHHH!!"
Syura's agonized scream snapped Souta out of his internal monologue.
The scream quickly turned into whimpers. His mouth was probably stuffed with something.
Souta, despite his curiosity, refused to look into the pit. He had a feeling it was a scene that would permanently scar his eyes, utterly NSFL.
And he wasn't wrong.
If one had to summarize what was happening down there, it would go something like this:
"Ah... ah... aaaaaAAAHHHHH—!!"
Syura's screams died out completely.
He was now in the same state as the girls he once tortured in the manga.
Kurumi and the others turned red with embarrassment, curiosity getting the better of them. They started inching toward the pit.
But Souta stopped them cold with some well-placed, irresistible distractions:
"Kurumi, I was thinking of uploading the Four Heavenly Kings' videos to the shop. Thoughts?"
"Rin, you're running low on gemstones, right?"
"Altair, I heard Setsuna Shimazaki is actually really cute. Is that true?"
"Chelsea, ever wanted to be a headless horseman? Pretty badass, right?"
Chelsea: "..."
Souta ignored Chelsea's slack-jawed reaction.
He could tolerate Kurumi and the others watching anime smut, but real-life scenes? His possessiveness kicked in hard.
Yes, it was a double standard. But hey, he was human.
In the end, Syura didn't survive the second round of punishment.
And yes, "round" here is a verb.
By the time it was over, he was a lifeless corpse.
Souta turned back to the group and shook his head.
"Looks like we'll have to cancel the third phase of your punishment plan."
That third phase? If Syura survived round two, they were going to drag him back to the capital and toss him into a public toilet, where he'd be defiled by the crowd, until he died in sheer humiliation.
"What a pity..." Rin huffed. "But I guess this is fine. That's how a bunch of girls died in the manga anyway. At least he got the same treatment. Still... we let him off easy."
She flipped her twin tails indignantly, and Souta had the sudden urge to grab them.
Too bad she wasn't tangible.
"Yeah... he got off light," Kurumi sighed. "But he's dead now. That's that."
"I think this is a fitting ending," Altair added. "It honors all those girls who suffered."
"They're not dead though," Souta corrected. "The timeline's gone totally off the rails after all our meddling."
"The manga only showed a fraction of the damage," Altair countered. "Who knows how many people Syura hurt over the years?"
"...Actually, there's still more we can do," Chelsea chimed in.
"Can't Souta manipulate souls? Syura's soul hasn't dissipated yet, has it? We can still carry out the third punishment phase on his spirit."
"..." Souta blinked, stunned.
Damn. How deep did this grudge go?
The guy's dead, and they still won't let him rest.
Then again, it was Syura.
So... understandable.
"Yeah, his soul's still intact," Souta confirmed after scanning the pit with his spiritual senses.
"But it won't last much longer. If we want to keep it around, I'll need to stabilize it with divine power."
"How much do you need? I'll cover it with my points," Altair offered.
Kurumi chimed in: "I've got some to spare, too."
"I just earned nearly 2,000," Rin added proudly.
Chelsea pouted: "I don't have any..."
Souta was floored.
They were literally pooling points to torment this guy's soul.
Forget offending shady guys, never cross a group of girls with a grudge.
Later...
Souta stabilized Syura's soul so it would persist for another ten years.
It was child's play for him. He could materialize souls, so preserving one for a decade was trivial.
The cost? Barely anything.
He let the girls pitch in a few symbolic points just for formality.
Then, Syura's soul was dumped into a giant latrine pit.
As a bonus, Souta tweaked his spirit's sensory functions—allowing it to smell.
He couldn't move.
He could only sit there, suffering, until he vanished ten years later.
Justice served.
Souta had to admit, it was actually a pretty efficient way to earn group points.
He even considered uploading series like Magical Warfare, King's Game, and so on...
But then he shook his head.
Better to stay human.
People who give five-star reviews to garbage shows just to spread the pain... that's too cruel.
"What a shame Kiss-Shot-san wasn't around for this," Chelsea said suddenly on the way back to the capital.
"Kiss-Shot? You mean Shinobu?" Souta looked at her. "She's over 500 years old. She wouldn't jump in just because someone pissed her off like you girls."
"Ara ara~," Kurumi giggled. "Are you saying we're immature compared to Kiss-Shot?"
Rin shot him a sharp glare too.
"..." Souta realized he'd stepped in it.
But words are an art.
He quickly recovered:
"Of course not! When I said 'little girls,' I meant you're young, as in youthful, passionate, full of justice. That's admirable. With age comes complacency. You're supposed to be impulsive, that's how heroes are made. I respect that."
Rin gave him a satisfied glance.
Kurumi, on the other hand, wasn't letting him off so easily. She looked like she was plotting payback.
Souta sensed it, leaned closer with a grin, and whispered:
"Kurumi, remember when you said you'd give me a reward? I've decided what I want..." ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
She tilted her head, curious.
Then, five seconds later, her cheeks went crimson.
"...Pervert."
She turned her head away, muttering the word to hide her flustered state.
Souta smiled knowingly.
Kurumi talked big, but she was surprisingly innocent. She could tease you all day, even get a little touchy, but when you flipped the script, she got all shy.
Of course, that only applied if she liked you.
Try teasing her without that mutual feeling?
Well, you'd better hope she wasn't low on time...
'Why do I feel like I'm getting way better at handling multiple women?' Souta thought, suddenly reflective.
He used to be the one getting flustered, now he was in control.
Maybe all that... "training" did help with his mindset.
"Chelsea, why'd you suddenly bring up Kiss-Shot?" he asked, glancing at her.
She had her headphones on and was practically bouncing with excitement.
"Because if Kiss-Shot-san had shown up, she could've mocked you with us!"
Chelsea turned to Kurumi and the others.
"You guys probably don't know, but Souta's been hilarious lately. He's been imitating Kiss-Shot-san's tone, pretending to be aloof and cold, talking down to people with his chin up, and even..."
