Chapter 321: Chapter 321 Sweetest snake alive

"I deserve a hug, right? Soon-to-be mate," Oceanus said, spreading his arms with a gentle smile.

Kyra chuckled and nodded, stepping into his embrace. She hugged him tightly, feeling the warmth and strength of his body. It was a comforting, secure feeling, as if everything was going to be alright.

He patted her back, holding her even closer, her head resting against his broad chest as his fingers gently stroked her hair. His touch was soothing, but there was something more in his gaze.

However, Kyra didn’t notice as Oceanus closed his eyes, inhaling her scent deeply. The desire surged within him—he wanted to claim her, to kiss her slender neck until his mark was the one imprinted on her skin. His hands drifted lower, caressing the spot where Vincent’s mark lay, hidden beneath her hair.

He tightened his embrace slightly, his fingers tracing the area possessively, the thought of leaving his own mark intensifying. But for now, he held back, content to simply hold her, though his thoughts were far from innocent.

"Not good, not good! A group of eagle warriors caught a snake, and it turned out to be Vincent!" Simon shouted, bursting in from outside.

Lucas, who had been grooming his fur, froze, his eyes widening. "What? How did he show up here?" Shock and urgency filled his voice as he jumped up and rushed into the living room. He saw Kyra already looking panicked.

"Where’s Damon?" Lucas asked, glancing around.

"He wasn’t here," Kyra replied, her voice laced with concern.

"Don’t worry. You all seat on my back," Simon offered, ready to assist.

"No need," Lucas responded quickly. "I’ll carry Kyra. Just help her down to the ground. I’ll climb down the ladder."

Without wasting another moment, Lucas hurried outside to climb down. Simon and Oceanus assisted Kyra carefully, making sure she was settled securely on Lucas’ back. Once she was seated, Lucas began following Simon, leading the way to where the commotion was.

"Bloody Eagle, leave me!" Vincent roared, his voice filled with frustration. "I’m not here to visit your... uh... Feathered Beak Brigade or whatever you call yourselves! I’m here because my mate is here!"

The eagle warriors hovered around him, unimpressed. One of them narrowed his eyes. "Don’t lie. What female would accept a feral snake like you? I’m sure you’ve forced some poor female."

"Yeah, who in their right mind would willingly mate with you?" another added with a smug chuckle.

Vincent’s eyes flared with fury. "I don’t owe you an explanation," he hissed. "But if you keep pushing, you’ll regret underestimating me."

Vincent’s muscles coiled, his sharp gaze sweeping across the eagles surrounding him who looked him with mocking gaze. The tension thickened, the forest seeming to hold its breath.

"You dare mock me?" Vincent growled, his tail snapping against the ground, sending dust flying as his scales glimmered in the light. "I’ll show you what happens when you provoke a snake."

One of the eagles dived toward him, talons outstretched. Vincent’s eyes flashed, and with lightning speed, he whipped his tail upward, smacking the eagle out of the air. The bird tumbled through the trees, hitting the ground with a grunt but quickly recovering.

"That’s it! Tear him apart!" another eagle screeched, launching himself at Vincent from the side.

Vincent twisted his body like a coiled spring and lashed out, catching the eagle mid-air with his tail and slamming him into the ground. The snake’s fangs bared, his patience wearing thin.

Two more eagles attacked simultaneously, claws aiming for his head and body. Vincent spun, his serpentine body moving with deadly precision. He ducked beneath one attacker, striking with his tail, while dodging the other with a smooth glide, then lunged forward, his fangs grazing the eagle’s wings as it barely escaped.

"You’ll have to do better than that!" Vincent taunted, his voice dangerously low.

The leader of the eagle warriors flared his wings wide and let out a deafening screech. "This snake needs to be taught a lesson!"

They circled Vincent, closing in from all sides, but Vincent’s eyes gleamed with fury. His entire body rippled with power as he hissed a warning.

Just as they were about to dive in for a full attack, a sharp roar echoed through the forest.

"Growl!" Lucas’s voice thundered through the trees as he appeared, Kyra clinging to his back, her eyes wide with concern.

Lucas growled again, his eyes sharp with suspicion, while the eagle warriors backed off.

Vincent hissed under his breath but stopped, his red eyes locking with Kyra’s for a moment before returning to eagles Worrier with a defiant glare. "I came for my mate," Vincent said in a low, dangerous voice.

Lucas’s fur bristled as he surveyed the warriors surrounding Vincent, his heart pounding with a mix of anger and protectiveness. Kyra felt a strange tension in the air; it was unnerving yet exhilarating. She climbed down from her Lucas, her eyes searching for Vincent. When their gazes met, tears filled her eyes, and without a moment’s hesitation, she ran toward him, throwing her arms around his neck in a tight embrace.

"Rainbow..." A smile spread across Vincent’s dangerously handsome face as he lifted her effortlessly with his tail, a mixture of pride and affection radiating from him. He reveled in the warmth of her embrace, returning it with a gentle squeeze. As Kyra showered his face with kisses, the tension in the air shifted.

The warriors looked on in shock, unable to comprehend the scene unfolding before them. Can any female truly love a feral snake? they wondered, their expressions a mixture of disbelief and intrigue.

Lucas shifted into his human form, his expression intense as he faced the warriors. "He’s not feral, okay? He’s the sweetest snake alive, and he already lifted the feral mark by building his own tribe!" His voice firm.

The warriors exchanged uncertain glances, caught off guard by his words.

Vincent’s lips twisted into a small, amused smile, and seeing a wolf after so long filled his heart with an unusual peace.
