My new Journey through the realms-Chapter 888 - 886 Feast of the Century pt 3
Chapter 888 - 886 Feast of the Century pt 3
Rex was curious as to why the mood in the bottom level of Soul Temple had shifted so much. Then he felt the first fire come to life. Once he felt it, four other fires were lit.
This confused him. He began to feel the guardians come in with various powerful beasts. He still did not try to look into it. Once the female trainer left the second time. He decided to go take a look.
When he entered the room, he could not tell where the fires were lit at. He knew that the fires were in her room. No matter where he looked, there was no other door.
When he turned to leave, he saw the male trainers looking at him with neutral expressions.
"Come with us." They told him.
Rex followed them to the training room. There they trained by fighting until the meal was ready. The fight was to distract Rex from trying to look around her room more.
Meanwhile
"Dessert is finished. The vegetables are almost done. The meat needs five to ten minutes." The female trainer spoke. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
Her eyes gleaned with joy as she had cooked for the first time since she could remember. Due to her always either cleaning or training, she just could not remember when she did this last. Although, the tree was a good sign as to when. That was just the front tree. That was not the last tree she used, or so she thought.
She placed the vegetables on each plate. There were extra so she placed them on a plates in the center. She felt the fight with the men. She knew why they were fighting.
"Coming into a lady's room just because you feel the fires. Some people have the nerves." She giggled.
She was fine with it. Rex did not search inside her drawers or anything special. He was just curious as to why the fires were going. She had to keep this a secret for just a little longer.
Once she was done with the vegetables, she also placed the dessert on the back counter. She had to make sure that everything was ready with the meat.
She went and the paste had not yet broken on the Drake King. This upset her a lot. This meant that it would not be ready until they were finished.
She started with the scaled lizard of the plains. She finished breaking the paste. The smell was super sweet like a baked apple being opened from the foil.
"Truly marvelous." She spoke happily.
She took a bite out of the front shoulder. The meat melted into pure happiness. Her face showed how good the meat was.
"Sometimes it is best not to worry about others and how they cook. I have to say, learning how to make the paste is one of the best trainings I have ever had." Her words flowed like a child happily singing.
Her cut was placed on her plate. She broke apart more of the scaled lizard of the plains across the plates.
Next was the boar of the mountain. It came out with a tangy bite. She was even more joyed about that. This was her first time making a tangy paste.
She placed that meat on the plates. As she went back to check on the Drake King before announcing the start of the feast. She saw a tiny crack on the leg closes to her.
She raised the temperature slightly to ensure the paste was going to crack even more before cracking it herself.
Instantly, the paste shattered. A glistening Drake King was before her eyes. She got the Drake King out of the fire. This was her attempt at the legendary paste.
She failed many times before. Even so, the meat was still delicious. Her nerves over the moon. This was the most nerve-wracking moment since she began working in the Soul Temple.
A quick taste to ensure the meat was truly ready. She immediately began to cry. The spiciness was over even the Pepper X. The next bite made her seem like she swallowed an entire ocean of juices from the meat. The final bite had nothing but pure calmness like a mother holding her baby.
"That paste I do not believe is the legendary paste I wanted. This will become my legendary paste of flavors." She spoke and wrote down all of the paste ingredients and how she made them.
"Ole man Fucker, I hope these pastes one day become famous for you." She spoke happily.
A figure of a man was now seen inside the furnace. This was so she was talking to. The figure seemed to shake as she walked away.
A silent bell rang throughout the Soul Temple. This was to call upon the men and guardians to the feast. Rex midway through a punch got stopped to ensure that bruises could be seen on the men.
They went to the table. Rex followed them. This was becoming a weird day. First his wives telling him that they do not truly like each. Next the fires inside the room where there was no entry or exit for whatever reason. The men were too worried about Rex finding the kitchen. To now following them to somewhere.
Three of the guardians also appeared. This bugged Rex. Why would the guardians come down here while he was following the trainers. He did not know where the female trainer went.
Once the door opened to the dining room. A wave of delicious food filled the air. As if the heavens sent an angel into the room. The female trainer had a small sweat on her hair.
The guardians and trainers all rushed to seats. This was to ensure that the plates would not disappear.
She found that this was stupid but was fine. She looked to Rex who was upset. She felt a pain in her heart.
"Why did those fuckers rush to the table without offering me a seat?" Rex asked the female trainer.
She smiled has she heard Rex complain about that.
"Yes. Why did these unruly men not offer me nor our student a seat first?" She asked sarcastically.
The guardians and male trainers all looked at each other. Their sweat seemed to become real.
The female trainer allowed Rex to have her seat at front of the table. She sat next to him with the seat next to her empty. Along with the seat next to Rex.
"Allow the feast to begin." She clapped first and then spoke.
Everyone began to dig in. The Drake King made everyone wonder what evil they did on the first bite. As they chewed, the juices all flowed and the calmness at the end. Until the next bite came.
