My SSS-Rank Skill and System is too OP in Modern Cultivation world-Chapter 133: A Murder, A Treasure, and an Escape Plan

Kent grinned. "This is amazing. It’s like fighting a walking ATM."
666 was getting pissed. He switched tactics, using shadow clones to surround Kent. Three copies of 666 appeared, attacking from different angles.
Kent tilted his head. "Oh? Triple trouble?"
The clones slashed. Kent kicked a rock. CRACK! The rock ricocheted, BOOM BOOM BOOM! All three clones exploded on impact.
666 barely dodged. "You—"
Kent chuckled. "Man, you’re really trying, huh? Respect."

666 didn’t speak. Instead, he activated his final move. Dark energy erupted around him, forming a massive spectral sword. Kent’s eyebrows raised. "Oh. That’s actually kinda cool."
666 launched forward with full force. Kent sighed. "Guess I have no choice." And then… He vanished.
666’s eyes widened. Where—?!
BOOM!
A punch smashed into his gut. 666’s body folded like an accordion. His feet lifted off the ground. Before he could even process what was happening, Kent appeared above him, grabbed his head, and slammed him into the dirt.
SLAM!
The entire ground shook. A crater formed beneath 666’s body.

Kent dusted his hands. "Well. That’s that." 666 groaned, struggling to move. He couldn’t. His vision blurred. "What… how…?"
Kent squatted beside him. "Bro. You never had a chance."
666’s breathing slowed. His consciousness faded. His last thought? "I should’ve just let him poop…" And with that…666 died.

A few seconds later… Kent stood over 666’s lifeless body, scratching his head. "Well… that escalated quickly."
He had originally come here for a simple bathroom break, and now he had a corpse on his hands.
Kent sighed. "Man, mornings are weird."
He glanced around, making sure no one was nearby. The last thing he needed was a nosy student walking in on this scene.
"Alright, let’s clean up." With a casual wave of his hand, his Void Domain opened. A swirling black rift in space.
"Get in there, buddy." he says, to body if 666.
He grabbed 666’s body by the leg and tossed it into the void like he was throwing out garbage.
[Ding! Body stored in Void Domain. No traces left behind.]
Kent smirked. "Perfect." With the body problem solved, it was time for the real fun—loot time.
Kent rummaged through 666’s belongings (bag) left behind, whistling as he worked. First, he grabbed 666’s sword. It was a sleek, black blade with dark engravings. It pulsed with eerie energy.
Kent gave it a few swings. "Not bad."

Kent grinned. "Ohhh, a lifesteal sword? Nice." Next, he found a small pouch of spiritual stones—about twenty or so.

"Jackpot." Finally, he picked up a low-level space ring. Kent tapped on it with spiritual energy, and all the things dropped in front of him.
Inside was… Broken swords , Like, a lot of them. "Why did this guy collect junk?" Then he found A pouch of cash "Not bad." Some clothes… mostly female underwear and many different kinds of shameful dresses. "…What the hell? This guy was a pervert."
Kent’s face twitched. "Was 666 a female fanatic?" Still, money was money. He took the cash, kept the stones, and tossed the broken swords aside.
Shameful clothes? Straight into the bushes. He had no use of them. If someone saw these shameful clothes with him… then definitely he will be labelled as a pervert.
With 666’s corpse hidden, his belongings looted, and no evidence left behind, Kent stretched his arms.
"Welp, no point in going back to camp."
The others would eventually notice 666’s disappearance, and Kent really didn’t want to answer any awkward questions.
Besides…, He had another problem. Scratching his head he says, "Nima’s gonna kill me. It had been almost a week since we entered the ruins. So many days, and yet,I still haven’t found her. She would definitely be pissed."
Kent shivered. "Yeah… I think I’ll stay missing for a little longer."
Kent stood up, stretching. "Man, I need to find a way to make her less angry. Maybe, find some rare food/fruits or something else." He looked around. "Wait… oh crap." He had completely forgotten the original reason he came here.
"…I still need to poop."
With that, he calmly walked over to another tree and finally did what he came to do. Somewhere in the afterlife, 666 screamed in rage. "I curse you to fall on your own poop."
After finishing his important popping task, he turned around and disappeared into the ruins, walking his own path once again.
…
Kent looked around the dark grove he’d accidentally turned into a battlefield. "Alright, no more distractions," he muttered. "No more fights. No more mysterious dark agents dragging me into sword duels mid-poop. I need to focus."
He glanced up at the sky. The sun had already begun to climb higher, its golden light filtering through the gnarled canopy of trees. Birds chirped. The wind whispered. The ruins felt calm for once.
"Now… What could make Nima less angry?" Kent muttered aloud.
He scratched his chin. "Flowers? No… she’ll say they’re boring. A cute beast pet? She already has Lumo and Auri. A fruit or food-related treasure? That would’ve worked if I could find one."
He walked aimlessly through the twisted stone paths, half-staring at broken statues and scattered moss-covered relics. Ancient runes glowed faintly on the cracked walls, but Kent ignored them. His thoughts were dominated by one thing:
"How do I survive when I find Nima?"
Sighing, he hopped over a fallen column and wandered deeper into the forgotten temple grounds. Shadows clung to the edges of the crumbling stone, and the air grew still. His footsteps echoed against the ancient stone tiles. Suddenly… he stopped.
His gaze landed on something strange, a half-sunken statue of a forgotten beast deity. It looked like a hybrid between a lion and a turtle, with sharp claws and a curved shell covered in carvings.
"Woah… what the hell are you?" Kent murmured.
He crouched and examined the base of the statue. "Hmm… it’s old. Really old. Might be valuable if I can figure out how to remove it."
He tapped it lightly saying, "System what is this? Use appraisal on this statue."
[Ding! System notifications.

Warning: Sealed by forgotten formation.
Do not disturb.]
Kent raised an eyebrow. "Oh? A ’do not disturb’ warning?" Naturally, he disturbed it. He poked the side of the statue with a stick. Nothing happened.
He poured a bit of Hellfire on the top. Nothing. "Okay… maybe I’ll just leave you alone for now," he muttered, standing up. But instead of walking away, he tossed the entire statue and the surrounding things inside his void domain.
"I will research you later."
For the next hour, Kent wandered deeper into the ruin trails, searching for anything remotely gift-worthy. He found many weird things like, A rock that looked kind of like a potato. A piece of cracked crystal that only glowed when he sneezed near it. A shiny mushroom that smells like stinky feet.
A book that looks like it insulted him in three different languages. He threw the book into a bush. "You’re lucky I didn’t burn you."
After his fifteenth useless find, he collapsed onto a mossy slab of stone with a groan. "I’ve got nothing. Not a single thing Nima would appreciate."
The wind blew gently. Leaves fluttered. Kent stared at the sky. "…Is there even a treasure in this ruin that can save me from her wrath?"
He groaned again and rolled onto his side. "I’m gonna die when she finds me. A mighty hero defeated… Not from monsters but from his little sister’s anger."
But even though his search was fruitless, he didn’t stop. He stood again, brushing off dust. His eyes scanned the landscape with stubborn determination.
"Come on, there’s gotta be something. A rare coin. Or A lamp that grants wishes. Anything." He kicked a nearby tree out of frustration. The tree squealed and ran away.
"…The hell?"

Kent blinked. "Wait. That was a sentient tree!" He watched it waddle off into the fog. "…Okay. Not helpful, but still hilarious."
As he wandered forward again, he muttered, "Maybe if I find some ancient currency, I can bribe her. Maybe an artifact that screams when you touch it. Or a trinket that makes tea. That would work."
Eventually, his path led him to a quiet spring nestled between two jagged stone cliffs. The water was glowing faintly, and strange blue flowers floated on its surface.
Kent sat by the edge, staring at his reflection.
"Well… I haven’t found Nima, and I haven’t found anything she’ll like." He splashed the water. "But I guess that’s part of the fun."
He smirked at his reflection. "I’ll keep looking. Something will show up. Something always does."
