My Wife and I Became Sages in Another World-Chapter 473: Enjoy This Beautiful World
Chapter 473: Enjoy This Beautiful World
A few months after we began the restoration of the Lost Continent, hundreds of demons had arrived in our world through the green portal.
Apparently, Jackson and Nessa were able to defeat any evil demon near the portal in hell and began searching for candidates who could use it.
Fortunately, we received small groups every day, so it was quite easy to allocate them to their new homes without thinking of overpopulation.
By the time that over two thousand demons came to our world, the capital had hundreds of buildings, dozens of roads, light posts, fountains, and a park.
During that time, we decided to come up with a name for the nation, as the Lost Continent didn’t make sense—considering it wasn’t ’lost’ anymore.
"G’Henna" was the name given by the first demon king who conquered it, and I thought that the name should keep some of its demonic roots, so we chose a simple option and went with "New G’Henna."
While Melina and I kept working hard and restoring fields and farms for future generations to use, we arrived at the area where the World Titan had fallen.
From a distance, the titan’s gigantic body looked like mountains, with an arm reaching into the sky, which had gotten stuck after the fall.
When we and the dwarves inspected the inside of the titan, we realized that almost everything was destroyed, even the relic that powered it up.
It wasn’t impossible to bring it back to life, although it would probably take us years to recreate the relics we used. But even so, we had no reason to fix it.
The World Titan had finished its task and gloriously fell in battle, creating one of the most iconic landscapes I had seen in this world. So, instead of trying to fix the titan, we decided to leave it there and named the area "Titan Hills" to serve as a reminder of the war.
As the population slowly increased along with the development of the capital and port towns, merchants from all over the world began opening shops and giving jobs to the new demon residents.
A few days after the war ended, I asked Sage Louie for a favor.
I wanted him to use his broadcasting spell—the same one he used to show the battle to the other nations—and inform the people about the arrival of the ’good’ demons.
I knew that after a world war against them, there would be prejudice against demons if they ever visited another country, so I wanted to spread the word as far and wide as possible to decrease the chances of it happening.
At first, Sage Louie wasn’t sure how to spread the message without raising suspicion from people, and I got an idea that I believed would help persuade them.
"Let’s make it a commercial with Melina as the model!" I proudly stated. Though, Louie didn’t really understand what I meant.
Needless to say, the day after our conversation, another broadcast was shown all over the world with Melina explaining the situation of the green portal and how only demons with emotions could use it.
It was a good way to not only stop prejudice against demons but also encourage others to visit New G’Henna, as there were plenty of job openings and business opportunities.
After Reinar and Jeniffer’s wedding, they had been thinking about opening an organization called the "Alchemy Guild," where they could teach anyone interested in potions how to make and distribute them to different stores worldwide.
In less than six months, there was one branch of the Alchemy Guild in every country, so healing potions slowly became an easier commodity for people to obtain.
Moreover, the elves eventually removed the barrier that protected their forest after I talked to them.
The main reason for the barrier wasn’t to protect themselves against demons or monsters. It was humans who were their biggest threat.
However, the world was changing. I wouldn’t allow slavery to continue anywhere for as long as I lived, and I wanted the elves to be a part of the growth and development that was spreading throughout all nations.

Exactly one year after the end of the war, Melina and I finally got officially married in the Sephyr Kingdom. Still, Sage Louie decided to broadcast the event worldwide, and it somehow became a holiday.
The weddings at the Sephyr Kingdom weren’t any different from what we were used to. All we needed was a priest who would make it official and witnesses in the room. Of course, we invited all of our close friends and companions to the ceremony.
Melina didn’t like wearing puffy dresses that seemed to belong in the Victorian era, so she designed her own and asked Vespera to weave them using her powers.
Later on, she also designed better casual clothing and suits for men, turning Melina into a global beacon of fashion.
While I stood next to the altar waiting for Melina to arrive, she walked through the double doors with her father, and I could feel my heart skip a beat.
Even after living two lives and experiencing the most surreal chain of events we could ever imagine, the love I had for my wife only increased.
After the priest gave his blessing, I held Melina’s hand and kissed her to seal the deal. When we opened our eyes, we found ourselves in the usual space where Phelena resided.
Anytime the goddess brought me to her domain, it was always a bit shocking and unpredictable. However, this time, both of us suspected she would show up at a time like this.
"Congratulations!" Phelena said, beaming with happiness.
As we looked up at the goddess, we noticed it wasn’t just her who had called us, but all my other god ’siblings’ were present as well.
"And thank you... For everything you have done," Phelena continued.
Melina and I exchanged glances and smiles, looking back at the goddess with confidence.
"We should be thanking you..." I replied.
"It was a rough ride, that’s for sure. But I had fun, and I don’t think I’ve ever felt as happy as I am now..." I explained.
With a solemn expression, Phelena approached us and gave us a tight hug. Holding onto our shoulders, she asked us what we would do next.
"Travel the world, of course... That’s always been our hobby!" Melina replied with enthusiasm.
The magical medieval world where I first arrived was rapidly changing for the better. Now, people could travel to countries on different continents in mere minutes by using magic quartzes placed in special buildings that worked as ’airports.’ However, there weren’t any flying machines transporting people—it was the quartz. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
Different cultures and races were mingling with each other, more jobs and opportunities led people to commit fewer crimes, and the evil demons scheming in the background were all gone.
"Our job is done. Now we can truly enjoy this world of yours," I said to Phelena, making her playfully chuckle.
"Please enjoy your lives to your heart’s content. Thank you again... for this beautiful gift," Phelena replied. In the blink of an eye, Melina and I returned to our spots beside the altar.
I had a horrible life, escaped from my family, met a wonderful girl, and got married. Then, she died, my life became hell again, and then I died.
I was brought to another world by a goddess, learned magic, met the same wonderful girl, saved the world, married her again, and traveled the world with her without restrictions or responsibilities.
Truly, I couldn’t be more satisfied with my life.

Author Note:
Thanks to absolutely everyone who has read up until this point!
This was my first novel to publish on this site and also the first one that I finished.
I’m quite proud of how it turned out, although, looking back on it, there are a few things that I would have liked to expand upon more.
To the people who have been reading for a year, to the people who binged the whole novel in one sitting, the ones who gifted me Golden Tickets, dragons, castles, sodas, pizzas, and Power Stones, and to the people who used their fast passes to read for free.
THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT!
My writing skills can only get better from here, so I hope that you look forward to my future novels.
There will be a short side story later on that will show Ichiro and Melina ten years after the end of the war, and with that, my work here is done!
Once again, thank you all for reading. I’ll see you in the comment sections of my future novels!
