My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon-Chapter 128: Lake
Chapter 128: Lake
"As you can see, folks, live from Crestfall City, the newest faction: The Weapons of..."
"In a feat of absolute cruelty, every corpse that fell has arisen. Donny, what are your..."
"I don’t know what to feel, you know? The Weapons bring back even people. It’s..."
"Public sentiment has started to deteriorate. Though Elian Reed is powerful, he is..."
The onlookers were all kicking up a fuss. It was the greatest example of entitlement one could relish. But as Elian didn’t give a single crap about any of them, he didn’t mind.
As he navigated around the chaotic battle, he felt his injuries finally heal.
"Hmm. I wonder if there is a book or something I can read. My body does not make sense from any standpoint. I am a golem but have organs and bleed. But I can also still function without them. I mean I can make a smaller body to escape damage."
Despite not seeing her face, Elian’s lover replied with thoughts in his mind. It was in moments like these that he felt just how close they were.
"I am sorry, Elian; I also do not know. Much like when I turned into a ghost, everything is up to trial and error. At least since I only copied Psychomancer from someone else."
He looked up to where Bianca waited. Elian smiled and blew a kiss to her.
"I am not blaming you, Bianca. You should know that by now. It was just a random thought. Anyway. How are you holding up?"
"Hmm. I am doing well. Apart from wanting to blast these vile parasites to ash, I am currently eating cores to restore my mana. These artifacts are so thoughtful, Elian. I really love them. Thank you."
Much like how Elian’s body didn’t follow the rules of golems, Bianca’s ’ghost’ soul body had its own quirks. It could not hold physical objects and could pass through solid object. However, that fact was overturned if the material of the object had mana in it.
This was how Bianca could touch and hug Elian before she even possessed a human. As she could hold Elian’s metals, she could wield the Fralhame lance despite being ethereal. Elian acted as a bridge for Bianca and the physical world.
Elian gave Bianca three gifts made from Dominator metals in celebration of their return to humanity. A belt for her magic bag, a pair of chic gloves, and an intricate necklace that turned her soulgem into a fashionable accessory.
The first gave Bianca a way to store items and weapons for use. The second allowed the witch to touch objects like a regular human. The last allowed her to carry her soulgem on her body, removing the necessity for her to stay with Elian or Fluffy.
For the first time since she died, Bianca was truly free to roam as she pleased. And while it made the Tyrant feel a bit anxious and lonely, seeing the joy of his lover moving around unfettered made it worth it.
"You are welcome, Bianca. So long as you desire it, I will make it happen. As for the humans, don’t mind them; their opinions hardly matter."
Bianca’s voice grew higher in pitch. It happened whenever she was embarrassed.
"Uhm... right... thank you. I appreciate you so much, Elian."
"Ho? Still won’t give in? Everyone already considers us married. Why not just say it, Bianca? You know you want to. It’s easy. Just say Elian, I L you. Spare yourself the effort."
"Hmph! In your dreams! You and I both know how much you worship me! If anyone should go first, it should be you! Stop being so stubborn and just say the L-word already! I even got you a shiny new army!"
Elian chuckled. Although their relationship was clear for everyone to see, he and Bianca were both hard-headed and prideful. They were lovers. They would die or go to war for the other, yet until now, neither had said the phrase, "I love you" to the other.
The one who noticed was Fluffy. The Tyrant’s lips couldn’t help but curl into a smile at the memory. It happened last night while Elian and Bianca were flirting.
"Good grief! If you really need to keep flirting, stop it with the overly long crap you both keep saying. Just say ’I love you’ and move on. That way the rest of us can go on with our lives," Fluffy said in frustration.
Elian and Bianca both froze in silence.
They had literally everything else. From a request of marriage from each other’s parents, promises of intergalactic genocide to a lazy life spoiled by Crestfall’s richest sugar mama. But not the most basic, straightforward confession.
When Fluffy saw their reactions, she smirked mischievously and found a new way to mess with the couple.
"Oh? So neither of you has said it yet? What? Your relationship is really based on violence, not affection!" the miscreant guffawed and fell to the ground, rolling in laughter.
Since then, Bianca and Elian had been trying to show just how much they adored the other. Both attempting to get the other to cave first. But as they were competitive, neither wanted to be the one to lose. Which turned into the current stalemate.
"Thank you for your gifts to the Weapons, Lady Winter. I will ensure that I return your favor in full. Shall we go out to a high-class restaurant for a quiet evening later?" Elian asked in a silvery voice.
"Hmph! Just who are you trying to imitate? You think a night of cuddling would be enough? You had me work a lot; compensate me properly, Sir HSK!"
Finding the absurdity of it all, both Elian and Bianca broke out in laughter. While the rest of the world drowned in violence and terror, the two of them marched to their own beat.
"Take care, Bianca. I adore you. Keep safe."
"Hmph. Of course! You must ensure your wellbeing as well, my Weapon. And...I cherish you too. More than anything in this world."
"You are just being silly at this point," Elian retorted.
"I do not want to hear that from you!"
As Elian followed the Metal Snow Wolf in front of him, he began to study the new additions to his faction. The flying shrimp, the humanoid lobsters, and the small crabs were like feral animals that threw themselves at anything that moved.
The jellyfish and the spider crabs didn’t attack and simply walked forward. The enemies around them attacked, but they didn’t do anything except stand still. It was as if they no longer knew what they were supposed to do.
Apart from the Wolves, every other Weapon was stupid as hell. Even the Knight-classed mantises. There was only one exception. There were over a dozen figures dancing among the humanoid lobsters. They looked like assassins wearing long robes.
"Oh? It’s the humans. They got included in the enslavement, huh?"
Unlike the other races, the humans fought with tactics, skills, and weapons. Each of them wielded long knives that they used to slash the invaders. There were a dozen of them, and they were taking down a significant number of enemies.
"You guys come here."
In an instant, the twelve humans broke away from their opponents and kneeled in front of him. Elian felt complicated seeing them. Although the human Weapons wore masks, they were revived humans caught in Elian’s Living Metal Sea.
Hmm, I should have expected that since they were inside Golem Lake.
It was the newest tactic he created to breed new Weapons. Golem Lake, a body of Living Metal and Dominator variants that could not be used for combat or scouting.
Golem Lake had one job: recycle every corpse it touched. Record the data. Recreate on command. No emotion, no filters—just raw replication. Living Metal melted down and served as material, while Dominator recorded the molds.
By combining the two types of liquid metals in one body of water, Golem Lake was born. It was the secret to Elian’s ability to 3D print an army in mere seconds. It was the natural evolution of Resupply and Devour.
Unfortunately, he had no control over which bodies should be prioritized, nor if any should be excluded. Much like a skill, it only executed the commands Elian had set.
"What are your names?" Elian asked.
None of the human golems spoke.
The Tyrant furrowed his eyebrows. "Did you bastards not hear me?"
But then Elian remembered his own journey as a golem. He couldn’t speak as well. Bianca, who read his thoughts, and Fluffy, who spoke through mana, were how he communicated. He had to make a voice box for himself to be able to speak to others.
"Right, my bad."
Elian raised his hand and fashioned voice boxes for them.
"Try now. You, the one at the lead. What is your name?"
"A-Ah... I do not know, Tyrant," said one of them curtly.
"Scan."

Hmm. Stats are higher than the average human, even mine at that level. But compared to Fluffy and the rest, they are weak, slow, and stupid.
"Your standards are too high, darling. We just ripped apart their souls and shoved them back into imperfect bodies. I am surprised they even managed to wake up at all."
Bianca’s explanation made sense. One of her concerns when bringing back Fluffy, Bastion, and Silent was keeping their egos and memories intact. But then Elian pieced two and two together.
"Wait? So that means that the amount of damage they suffer when they are brought back actually represents the parts of their souls that get shaved off?"
"Yes," Bianca declared in a somber tone. "The more we protect their souls, the more complete they return."
"Hmm, this just got a whole lot more complicated," Elian remarked.
