Pain laughed, a harsh, grating sound. "Heh heh heh heh, utterly ridiculous."

"You think—you can kill me?!"

"Patients who haven't witnessed a miracle can never comprehend divine power!"

"Your death—is my gift. The debts of Konoha and the smaller nations—I will settle them all!"

"Once, I sought death, but couldn't find it. Now, I grant death, and expect no thanks!"

"A creature like you—is too foul to even die at my hand. Be sealed in hell for eternity, and repent!"

Pain's body levitated once more, looking down at Gojo Kaigetsu, arms outstretched.

As if a Divine hand were toppling mountains, sundering the earth.

The dust and debris from the disintegrating earth, along with rubble and soil, rose under the gravitational pull, forming a canopy of death and irresistible, destructive beauty above Kumogakure.

From mountain peak to deep abyss—in a single instant.

The core of Kumogakure, built over fifty years by the Raikage Tower, was thus pulverized into oblivion.

The Cloud clan elders, perhaps even in death, couldn't believe that a ninja's power could achieve such—world-altering devastation.
