The immense Chakra shockwave blasted the water away, creating a huge vacuum tens of meters wide around him.]

[Several massive jets of water shot skyward from the impact.]

[Seeing this, Kisame tried to retreat up one of the water columns.]

[But it was too late!]

[Guy appeared instantly above Kisame, unleashing a barrage of countless flaming punches while shouting furiously: "Morning Peacock!"]

[In mere seconds, hundreds of punches slammed into Kisame's body, leaving him utterly powerless. He crashed violently onto the ground, looking completely defeated.]

First, they were stunned by his incredible strength. After opening the Eight Inner Gates, his power skyrocketed to the point where he could overwhelm an S-rank rogue ninja like Kisame. Fellow shinobi like Asuma, Kotetsu , and Izumo looked on in disbelief.

The person they used to occasionally laugh at had grown unbelievably strong without them realizing it. Compared to him, they felt somewhat ashamed of their own progress.

Second, they were baffled by his bizarre train of thought. How could anyone possibly confuse Hoshigaki Kisame with an Uchiha?

Kisame's shark-like features and the Uchiha clan's Sharingan had absolutely nothing in common.

PS: Regarding Neji and Tenten, their potential relationship has always been something I wished was explored more. I've written other Naruto fanfics with protagonists before, where Tenten couldn't be paired with Neji due to being a potential love interest for the main character. But since this story doesn't have a central protagonist like that, I wanted to fulfill my wish and let Tenten and Neji be together. Do you all think that's okay?
