Naruto: Reincarnated as Sasuke Uchiha with Perfect Talents.-Chapter 632 Meeting the Sage of Six Paths
Chapter 632 - 632 Meeting the Sage of Six Paths
Destroy Konoha?
No, what Nagato desired was far more than the mere destruction of a village like Konoha. He aimed to create a truly meaningful world, one utterly free from the scourge of war. Experience had shown him that his original ideals held merit. In this world, Naruto Uzumaki had gathered all the Tailed Beasts, using their power to deter other villages, ensuring they wouldn't dare initiate conflict.
In this respect, Nagato acknowledged that Naruto had done well; he deeply approved of this method. However, where Naruto fell short, in Nagato's eyes, was his failure to eradicate the ninja profession itself. All ninjutsu should be comprehensively banned, bringing the era of shinobi to a definitive end. A world without ninja would inevitably become more peaceful.
The protection of such a world could be entrusted to a single individual: himself, Nagato Uzumaki. He alone would safeguard the entire world. Wielding all the Tailed Beasts, combined with the power of the Rinnegan, Nagato was confident he could protect everything without assistance. These other ninja weren't necessary at all. In fact, if deemed necessary, he would eliminate every last ninja to ensure no one could ever again learn to manipulate chakra or master ninjutsu.
Nagato's thoughts had plunged into extremism. It was precisely because he saw a glimmer of hope for his vision that his perspective grew increasingly radical.
However, achieving this grand plan required Nagato to overcome numerous, incredibly difficult obstacles. The first colossal mountain before him was capturing every single Tailed Beast. Forget confronting Sasuke Uchiha; simply devising a way to seize the Tailed Beasts from their current wielders was no simple task. His previous clash with Sasuke Uchiha, in particular, left Nagato feeling immense pressure. Even after undergoing modifications, it seemed he still couldn't defeat Sasuke, a fact that infuriated Nagato further. Could that individual truly be that powerful?
Meanwhile, Sasuke, the object of Nagato's fixation, had just arrived in the Land of Earth, near Iwagakure. He found no trace of the Sage of Six Paths there. Having no time to linger in the village, Sasuke immediately turned and sped away, heading towards the Land of Lightning.
Yet, upon his swift arrival at Kumogakure, before he could even begin his search for the Sage, Sasuke was struck by a sudden realization: Madara Uchiha's presence had vanished entirely. Furthermore, he couldn't establish contact with Madara. First Indra, now Madara... Indra seemed to have been taken by members of the Kara organization. Given Indra's strength, forcibly abducting him should have been impossible. But if it wasn't forced, it meant Indra had gone with them willingly. Why would Indra do that? And now Madara was unreachable too... Could Madara also...?
As Sasuke pondered this troubling question, a piercing gaze locked onto him. In the next instant, a figure materialized directly before him. The being floated in mid-air, with several Truth-Seeking Orbs hovering behind him, his sharp eyes fixed intently on Sasuke.
"You carry Hamura's scent. Who are you?"
Hearing these words and sensing the distinct chakra radiating from the figure, Sasuke slowly raised his head, looking up at the person before him...
The Sage of Six Paths!
He had found the Sage of Six Paths in Kumogakure. This was a decent find, wasn't it?
As for whether to seize the Sage's Rinnegan, Sasuke now hesitated. Both Madara and Indra had apparently been taken by Kara. Why they would willingly leave with Kara, Sasuke didn't know. But he could only assume they were tempted by something – perhaps power, perhaps something else entirely. Neither Indra nor Madara were individuals who would easily submit to another's will, so it made sense they had their own agendas.
The critical issue now was, if both had been swayed and joined Kara, the consequences would be dire. Having witnessed the power Deidara gained after Kara's modifications, Sasuke couldn't begin to imagine how strong Indra and Madara might become if they underwent similar enhancements. They could potentially ascend to unimaginable heights, perhaps even surpassing the level of the Sage of Six Paths himself.
In that scenario, Kara, joined by the remnants of Akatsuki, plus Indra and Madara... their combined combat strength would be overwhelming. While Sasuke didn't believe himself weaker, he was still just one person. One individual's strength was clearly insufficient to handle so many powerful opponents simultaneously.
Therefore, he needed allies. The Sage of Six Paths standing before him was a potentially powerful asset.
"Your brother is currently in a village called Konoha. I am not your enemy!" Sasuke stated patiently. "I came here specifically seeking you, Sage of Six Paths!"
However, the Sage of Six Paths merely stared at Sasuke. He sensed the chakra of his brother, Hamura Otsutsuki, emanating from Sasuke, but also that of his son, Indra! What was going on? What had this boy done to his brother and son?
"Who are you? What is your name?"
The Sage had already gathered some information about this world. He had been brought into a future era by some unknown force, a future seemingly facing a great calamity. He wished to help, but the leader of this place, the man called the Raikage, had told him that Konoha monopolized the Tailed Beasts and had dominated the shinobi world for decades. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
Konoha! It didn't sound like a benevolent place.
"You brought my brother, Hamura Otsutsuki, to Konoha. Did he go willingly?" The Sage was suspicious. By rights, his brother Hamura wouldn't easily associate with ordinary humans. Hamura placed great importance on bloodline, after all, and had always been proud of his Otsutsuki heritage. He didn't consider lowly humans to be the same kind of beings as himself. Although they had worked together to seal their mother, Hamura had still been unwilling to live among common people in the ninja world as Hagoromo did. He chose to go to the moon to accompany their mother, a decision partly driven by Hamura's pride, which didn't permit him to coexist with 'inferior' humans.
"Not exactly willingly. I subdued him and brought him back to Konoha!"
As Sasuke said this, the Sage's gaze towards him hardened instantly.
"What did you do to my brother?"
Boom!
An instantaneous explosion of chakra erupted, forming a powerful shockwave. The expanding energy surged outwards violently.
Sasuke narrowed his eyes slightly, observing the Sage of Six Paths before him. "Would you believe me if I said I did nothing to your brother?"
The Sage of Six Paths showed no reaction to this response, his glare remaining fixed deadly on Sasuke. Clearly, he didn't believe him.
Fine, if he wouldn't believe him, so be it! It seemed a fight was necessary to force the Sage to pause and talk. Sasuke sighed in resignation.
Just then, Sasuke sensed Kumogakure ninja rapidly approaching their location. If those shinobi arrived, the situation would become messy with too many people involved.
Thinking this, Sasuke raised his hand, instantly forming four Truth-Seeking Orbs. With his ocular power, he activated his Sharingan Chakra Mode, a verdant green chakra flaring to life around him. As the Orbs flew out to surround the area, he unleashed the technique... Four Red Yang Formation!!!
