New Age Of Summoners-Chapter 2102: Adventures in the Dark Region

One Week Later,

"Father, Siora, are you ready?"

Ajax asked both Aron and Siora, who excitedly nodded their heads.

"Thunder Phantom Ark."

Ajax summoned a huge flying boat and boarded it along with Siora and Aron.

"Let's go."

As soon as Ajax infused his spirit essence into the flying boat, it shot forward like a streak of lightning, cutting through the skies.

The wind roared around them as the flying boat left behind faint traces of crackling lightning.

"The Dark Region…finally," Aron's eyes gleamed with anticipation.

"I've always wanted to explore it and finally, I will be exploring it together with my Son and Daughter-in-law."

Aron was greatly excited about the Dar Region Exploration because he was only one percentage away from fully awakening all his five Divine Rules.

That's right!

After transferring one percentage of awakening to Siora, Ajax transferred another to Aron, making all his Divine Rules have an awakening percentage of 99 percent.

As long as Aron encounters a single fortuitous encounter, he could trigger the Ascension Tribulation, ascending to the Heavenly Realm in one go.

Before that, Aron wanted to fulfil his old wish which was to enter the Dark Region.

"I am excited too. I wonder what kind of treasures and cultivation resources we can find."

Siora nodded with a soft smile.

So far, all the heaven-defying treasures and the Sentient Flames that were owned by the top powerhouses have all come from the Dark Region.

For Siora, who had a Special Higher World Tree and the Regular Higher World Tree to take care of, she required cultivation resources that could nurture the Spirit Trees.

Hence, Siora was looking forward to the cultivation resources.

The journey was swift as the Thunder Phantom Boat tore through the skies. The clear blue above slowly turned murky, and an oppressive aura filled the air.

"See…we are almost there."

Ajax pointed at the pitch batch space that was covered in evil energy and informed Siora and Aron.

With what used to be a one-month journey, Ajax and his group reached the outskirts of the Dark Regioon in just three days, thanks to the Thunder Phantom Ark.

"It looks gloomy."

It was Siora's first time visiting a place like the Dark Region and the previous excitement that Siora was feeling earlier disappeared the moment she saw the worlds floating on the edge of the Dark Region.

"Yes, it is and the evil energy in the Dark Region can corrode the cultivator's body."

Ajax nodded his head and explained about the Evil Energy while giving out the Evil Resisting Pills.

"With these pills, we don't have to worry much about the Evil Energy for at least a week."

Ajax said while tossing an Evil Resisting Pill into his mouth.

Following Ajax's actions, both Siora and Aron also tossed the pills into their mouths and observed the smaller Dark Worlds.

"With her current strength, we don't have to waste our time in the outskirts of the Dark Region."

Previously, Ajax had entered the Dark Region and he was able to easily dominate the Smaller Worlds in the Dark Region and even extracted the World Cores from them.

However, right now, he is many times more powerful than his old self. Hence, Ajax didn't waste any time on the outskirts.

"Let's enter the depths of the Dark Region and see what's inside it that is making everyone so afraid of the entire Dark Region."

In the next second, the Thunder Phantom Boat tore through the heavy, dark mist as Ajax guided it deeper into the Dark Region.

After flying for a couple of hours, they were fairly deeper into the Dark Region, where the darkness felt heavier, pressing down on them like an invisible weight.

"This place... feels different."

Siora whispered as she tightly held onto Ajax's hand.,

"The Evil Energy here is thicker... more intense. No wonder even powerful cultivators avoid this place."

Even Aron agreed that he became serious because they were in a place that was deadly to almost all the cultivators in the universe.

"It is the perfect location for us to test our battle skills. Isn't that right, Father?"

Ajax smirked and asked his father.

One of the main reasons why Ajax wanted to always enter the Dark Region was, that he wanted to rest his battle prowess.

It was the same for Aron because right now, they are the most powerful cultivators in the entire universe.

Also, they could have a friendly spar with one another; however, they could not go all out in a friendly spar.

What's more, even a friendly spar would cause great destruction in the universe and Ajax, as an Emperor of four Greater Worlds, didn't want such things to happen in his worlds or anywhere close to his worlds.

"It is indeed a perfect place for us to go all out with our battle prowess."

Aron had the same personality as Ajax. So, both the father and son were in perfect synchronization.

"Also, don't forget about the rare cultivation resources that are waiting for us."

Since the evil energy here is very thick only after travelling for a few hours, most cultivators have yet to explore this location for multiple reasons.

The Evil Resisting Pills might still help them fight the Evil Energy around them; however, with such thick Evil Energy, how powerful the Evil Creatures that were lurking in the darkness would be?

Where most cultivators were scared, the father and son duo were excited about the cultivation resources that were waiting for them.

"Father, let's go to that world. It looks much bigger than the other Greater Worlds."

Soon, Ajax pointed his finger at a giant Greater World and asked Aron about it, who instantly agreed.

In the next second, the Thunder Phantom Ark flew into the world.

"Experience how a Greater World in the Dark Region feels."

With that, Ajax jumped off the Thunder Phantom Ark and landed on the black-coloured ground.

Aron and Siora also jumped and perfectly landed beside Ajax.

Without warning, several shadowy figures materialized from the mist, their crimson eyes glowing with malice.

"Evil Spirit Beasts?"

With Ajax's Divine Sense, he had already sensed those creatures before they were fully materialized.

Although he doesn't know exactly what was the name of those creatures, he calls them Evil Spirit Beasts for now.

These evil creatures have translucent, ghost-like bodies with tattered, flowing forms that hover above the ground.

Their glowing crimson eyes radiate malice, and their long, clawed hands are capable of tearing through both flesh and spirit.

Ajax was not worried about it as he had already found some of the Evil Spirit Beasts in the past.

"Back then I encountered Darkfire Wraiths which could merge and become Giant Darkfire Wraith Emperors."

"Killing them gives Darkfire Crystals which I was able to demerge into Giant Dark Crystals and the Giant Fire Crystals."

As Ajax spent more time with his father and Siora, he slowly shared some of his abilities and among them, his ability to merge, demerge and upgrading were some.

"Are you going to kill them or should I kill them?"

After briefly explaining his experience in the Dark Region, Ajax asked Aron and Siora whether they wanted to go first.

"You should go first and get their information."

As the previous host of the system, Aron knew that the system could provide information on the creatures killed by its host.

So, Aron asked Ajax to kill them first and get their information.

"From the looks of it, there were so many of these evil beasts. So, I will go first."

Ajax nodded his head and shouted, "Everyone, come out."

'Swoosh'

As soon as he called out, all the Elemental Spirits and the Contracted Spirit Beasts jumped out of the Divine Inner World.

'Roars'

As soon as they were summoned out, the contracted spirit beasts excitedly roared and rushed towards the Evil Spirit Beasts around them.

'Screech'

At the same time, the Evil Spirit Beasts screeched as they lunged toward the trio.

'Swiish'

Those Evil Spirit Beasts seemed to be Emperor-level entities; however, they were not as powerful as they looked…or maybe it was Ajax's contracted spirits and the Elemental Spirits that were more powerful.

The system notifications kept ringing in his head as Ajax learned the names of these evil spirit creatures.

'So, they are called Evil Specters?'

Ajax nodded his head and informed others about it.

As the fight began, more and more Evil Specters kept coming out of nowhere and attacking Ajax's summons.

However, the fight was still one-sided as these Evil Specters were only coming at his summons to get themselves killed.

"Father, although the fight seemed on the outside, there is no end to the evil spirits that are coming towards us."

Ajax shared his thoughts and asked, "Shall we join the fight and wrap them up as soon as possible."

"Let's finish them quickly."

Aron felt the same and agreed instantly as he summoned his sword glowing with a fiery aura as he dashed forward, slashing through two spectres in an instant.

"I will join the fight too."

By now, Siora had recovered to the world's environment and she quickly summoned her vines, sending thick, thorny vines to entangle several spectres at once.

"Burn!"

With a single command, the vines ignited, turning the trapped spectres into ash.

With Aron and Siora joining the fight, the large group of incoming Evil Specters were quickly taken care of.

'Boom!'

Suddenly, a massive figure emerged from the darkness, towering over them with a sinister grin.
