"If you want this then I will gladly sell it, but I know that such items need to be approved by the Branch Guild Leader. Since the branch guild leader is not here and might not be here for the time being, maybe we can talk to other merchants." Peridot stated.

"Please think this through, Lady Firefeather. The best case for the item would be to let us handle it as we are a global company. We even have penetrated to the market of the illusive Southern Continent. Let me tell you this secret… the southern continent is incredibly filled with precious metals and mystic herbs like no other. It is also incredibly dangerous which means this item will be something that their kings and queens desire." The assistant branch leader stated.

"Still, you have not answered my question. Do you have the authority to make this deal? This is a scroll that can only be given by a demon if they have some trust in you. If this circulated with them knowing and it was traced back to us, then they might never have any deals with us." Peridot stated.

"Unfortunately, I am tied right now but I will immediately go to the house of the branch leader. Will you please have us wait for at least a day? We will even offer another 20% on top of the price that will be set." The assistant branch leader stated as he was greedy in getting the scroll.

Adrian knew that scrolls that do not have specific coordinates and not bound were incredibly sought after but he did not expect that they would make someone like an assistant branch leader practically beg. He always used them without any problem as he could create them with a rate of one every three days. If Adrian has a lot of time, then he could create one every day, but he now learned what he can offer to other beings as payment.

"Since this merchant guild has helped us procure more things than other merchant associations then we shall give you a day. We shall be staying at an inn here for the next few days, but we will only give you a day to have this deal sealed before we talk to others. That is best offer we can give you in consideration with our past dealings." Peridot stated.

"How about this, we will also give you the best room in one of the inns that are of the guild. We shall give you the best room that we can offer free of charge until you are done with your stay here." The assistant branch leader stated with conviction, but he was just hiding his greed.

"If the merchant guild were to do that then I might be tempted to extend that deadline by half a day. It will be determined when we come back tomorrow though. Does the assistant branch leader have any qualms with that?" Peridot asked.

"Of course not, Lady Firefeather. You are VIP patrons in our guild which is why this is just basic courtesy for us. We know that you rarely go out of your territory and to visit us specifically has already been a great boon to us." The assistant branch leader stated with a bow.

"Okay then. Please have a staff from your guild to escort us from our current inn to move some of our stuff. We will need to cancel our accommodation there after all as you are giving us the luxurious treatment." Peridot stated with a small cough as she acted like she is getting tired.

"I think we will need to take rest for now. Have your staff escort us once the new accommodation is settled." Levin Cloud stated.

"Of course, Lord Firefeather. Thank you for meeting with us." The assistant branch leader stated with another bow.

Adrian led the way out as he acted like the perfect bodyguard while Kabrakan was after the couple. All of them head towards the inn that they are currently staying at to make sure that their cover is solid. Adrian even hailed a carriage to deliver them to the inn they are staying at. The room they got from their current inn is not bad as it was actually a pavilion reserved for wealthy people.

"Acting weak is very tiring." Peridot stated as she started stretching as she felt stiff from just sitting and leaning on Levin Cloud all day.

"It is a good thing that you were the one acting. If it was that guy, then we would have been busted." Levin Cloud stated as he pointed at Adrian.

"Hey! Piggy Bank praised me for being a good actor!" Adrian exclaimed.

"Piggy Bank? The branch leader from Avalon's Merchant Guild? Which character acting did he praised?" Levin Cloud asked.

"He said I played a very convincing Cat." Adrian replied proudly with his chest puffed out.

"Did you transform yourself as a Cat beastkin?" Kabrakan asked.

"No. I transformed myself as a cat which looked like an extremely cute and small version of Kimat." Adrian replied with a smug face.

"You became a cat?" Peridot exclaimed with great interest.

"Let me tell you the story!" Adrian stated with confidence as he told them what happened entirely at the merchant guild as he only told them what happened in general.

"Master." The assistant branch leader suddenly appeared before Branch Leader Goldenclaw.

"Why are you here?! Can you not see that I am in mourning?! What will the hu… I mean my family say if they see you here. They might say that I am putting work first again." Branch Leader Goldenclaw stated.

"Apologies but an important item was suddenly brought to our attention." The assistant branch leader stated.

"How important is this item that you are coming to me for verification?" Branch Leader Goldenclaw stated.

"A Legendary Tier Advanced Teleportation Scroll that is unbound." The assistant branch leader stated which suddenly made Branch Leader Goldenclaw's eyes sharpen.
