One Piece: I'm Destined to Be the Son-in-Law King!-Chapter 127: Zoan-Type Ability User

Inside the tavern, bright lights shone down on a scene of total chaos. People were everywhere, some yelling battle cries, others screaming in fear, and gunshots echoed through the room.

The noise was so intense that even the shops across the street had no idea what was happening inside the tavern's walls.

"Splatter!"

Blood flew through the air, hitting the windows.

Roya stood calmly in the middle of the room, his right hand tightly gripping the neck of a pirate known as "Fast Sword." With a quick, powerful twist, he snapped the pirate's neck.

Pirate bodies lay scattered at his feet.

"Even Sikabuluo, who's worth 88 million, is dead!" one pirate shouted.

Fear gripped the remaining pirates. If they didn't have a powerful fighter on their side, they would have already run away in terror.

"Die, you monster!" another pirate yelled.

A pirate on the second floor aimed his rifle at Roya and pulled the trigger. The bullet sped towards him in an instant.

Roya could have easily dodged it, but instead, he simply raised his hand and caught the bullet in mid-air. He opened his palm, letting the twisted, useless piece of metal fall to the floor.

"This kind of thing won't work on me," he said calmly.

Roya's vision was sharp enough to follow bullets, and he was developing a strong sense of danger that allowed him to avoid attacks even without seeing them.

He was starting to master Observation Haki.

Actually, if he hadn't been focusing so much on training Armament Haki and improving his close-combat skills, he probably would have mastered Observation Haki a long time ago, given his natural abilities.

But right now, he needed to become even stronger and increase his attack power!

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

Suddenly, the ground began to shake!

"Get out of my way, you little pests!"

A huge, roaring voice filled the tavern as a massive monster emerged from the shadows.

The monster had a rhinoceros-like head with two sharp horns. Its skin was a tough, bluish-green color, like an unbreakable armor, making it look incredibly strong.

Seeing the monster, the pirates' spirits lifted!

"Iron Skin" Manji, a Zoan-Type Devil Fruit user with the power of a rhinoceros, was famous for his 140 million Berry bounty.

"Take down Black Hair, Iron Skin!" a pirate screamed.

"All of you, shut your mouths!" Iron Skin roared.

He was breathing heavily, holding a massive wolf-fang club in each hand, and he clearly didn't like being cheered on.

Roya looked up at the rhinoceros monster.

A Zoan-Type Ability User, huh? he thought.

"Senior Roya!" Lu Yun shouted, hiding behind the bar and covering his mouth. "It's best not to kill this guy!"

"Yeah, I know," Roya replied.

Lu Yun must have a reason for saying that, he thought.

He remembered hearing about a rhinoceros Jailer Beast in the underwater prison, Impel Down. Could it be the same person as this monster?

If so, it meant the Marines had a way to force Zoan-Type users to awaken their powers - or rather, that Vegapunk had found a way.

However, the result of this forced awakening was that the person's mind would be taken over by the animal spirit within the Devil Fruit, turning them into a mindless Jailer Beast.

Just then, one of the giant wolf-fang clubs came crashing down from above!

"Boom!"

The ground exploded, and dust filled the air.

When the dust cleared, Roya was standing with one foot firmly planted on the wolf-fang club, stopping it from hitting him.

"Don't be so impatient!" he said.

"Black Hair!" Iron Skin roared.

His nostrils flared, and he raised the other wolf-fang club, smashing it down towards Roya. The force was so great that it could crush anything.

"If I kill you, my bounty will definitely skyrocket!" he yelled.

"Boom!"

The tavern shook once more as the second club hit the ground. The powerful shockwave sent bodies, tables, and chairs flying in all directions. Even the pirates nearby screamed as they were thrown against the walls.

The monster's power was truly terrifying!

"Bang!"

Roya used Moon Walk to leap into the air, floating several meters above the ground. He swung his right foot towards the rhinoceros's head.

"Storm Leg!" he shouted.

His toes sliced through the air, creating powerful gusts of wind that shot towards Iron Skin. But they disappeared without a trace, not even scratching his skin.

"Hahahaha, my defense is unbeatable!" Iron Skin roared with laughter. His skin was harder than steel, and no one had ever been able to break through it.

"Die, Black Hair!" he yelled, swinging the wolf-fang club wildly.

"Moon Walk Waltz!"

Roya danced through the air. He wasn't moving particularly fast, but he gracefully dodged every attack from the wolf-fang club, making it look like an elegant dance.

He quickly closed the distance between them.

Then, focusing all of his Haki into his right leg, he spun around and kicked the rhinoceros in the face with incredible force!

"Boom!"

A wave of air exploded on the rhinoceros's face!

Iron Skin's head spun, and he stumbled backward, crashing into several tables and chairs with a loud "boom."

"Damn it!" he roared, struggling to get back on his feet. The attack hadn't done any real damage, but it had definitely made his head spin.

"Running around like a bug!"

Watching the incredibly agile Roya, Iron Skin became even angrier. He dropped the wolf-fang clubs and grabbed the two massive horns on his head.

Then, he pulled them off!

The pirates stared in disbelief.

"Wait, he can do that?" one of them asked.

"All of you, shut your mouths!" Iron Skin roared at the pirates. Ignoring the blood pouring from his head, he grabbed a rhinoceros horn in each hand and began spinning them around like crazy!

"I'll show you the true power of a rhinoceros!" he yelled.

"Go!"

"Rhino Horn: Double Boomerang!"

With a final roar, Iron Skin threw the rhinoceros horns at Roya, who was still floating in the air.

Roya swayed slightly, dodging the spinning horns. With a loud "crack," the horns shattered the ceiling and disappeared from sight.

Silence fell over the tavern.

The pirates were speechless.

Roya simply shook his head.

But Iron Skin had a cold smile on his face. He picked up the two wolf-fang clubs and launched a furious attack on Roya, swinging them wildly, even though he knew his clumsy movements made it hard to hit him.

Suddenly, a whistling sound came from far away!

The rhinoceros horns that had flown out of the tavern earlier were now returning with even greater speed and force, heading straight for Roya's back!

It was a two-pronged attack!

"Rhino hahaha, did you see that!" Iron Skin yelled, chasing after Roya and swinging his clubs even harder. "This is how rhinoceroses hunt in the wild!"

No, that's not how rhinoceroses hunt! the pirates thought to themselves.

But it meant Black Hair had nowhere to escape!

"Yare yare!"

Roya shook his head again. The tavern was too small, and with the two-pronged attack, it was difficult to dodge everything.

But he didn't need to dodge everything.

Roya flipped backward, avoiding the spinning rhinoceros horns. He would be ashamed if he got hit by something like that.

"You have nowhere to run!"

Iron Skin had been waiting for this moment. He quickly closed the distance and swung the massive wolf-fang club down on Roya, who had no way to avoid it!

"Watch me smash you into mincemeat, Black Hair!" he yelled.

"Rhino Cannon!"

Roya's eyes turned cold, and he focused all of his Haki into his foot. He leaped up and slammed his foot into the falling wolf-fang club!

"Iron Body: Strong Kick!"

"Crack!"

The steel wolf-fang club shattered into pieces!

"How is that possible!"

Iron Skin stared at the broken club, his eyes wide with disbelief.

It was made of steel!

"Big guy, you said your defense was unbeatable, right?"

Roya walked towards the rhinoceros monster, twisting his hands together and cracking his knuckles. "Coincidentally, I need a sturdy punching bag!"

"Clang!"

A layer of black Haki covered his fist, and it seemed to glow with a powerful aura.

Roya leaped into the air once more, unleashing the full power of his Haki-infused fist, and slammed it deep into the rhinoceros monster's chest!

"Crushing Impact!"

With a muffled "thump,"

Iron Skin's back bulged outward, his clothes exploded, and a visible shockwave of air burst out, destroying all the walls behind him!

"Boom!!!"

In the midst of the deafening roar, half of the tavern shattered and disappeared!

When the dust finally settled,

Iron Skin lay twitching in the rubble, his massive body shrinking back to its human form, coughing up large amounts of blood.

I can't block it!

Iron Skin's eyes rolled back in his head. He couldn't understand why his armor hadn't worked, or how he could be so badly injured.
