A heavy silence fell. You could have heard a pin drop.

The five Vice Admirals from Headquarters stationed at G-14 were easily defeated by Black Hair. It was a shocking display of power that no one had expected.

We need to rethink how strong Black Hair really is!

Sengoku clenched his fist tightly.

He hadn't counted on Roya and the G-5 Branch disobeying orders. Even more surprising, Roya had become so powerful.

On the screen showing G-14, Roya was standing on Onigumo's head. He seemed to have noticed the Den Den Mushi watching them. His face was pointed directly at the monitoring room.

His calm expression hid a deep rage.

"I want to know what crime my subordinate Yamato has committed to deserve such a large force from Marine Headquarters coming after her?"

"Roya!" Sengoku grabbed the Den Den Mushi, his eyes as cold as ice. "She's the daughter of the Four Emperor Kaido!"

"Marshal Sengoku," Roya took a deep breath. Suddenly, he stomped Onigumo's head into the ground. He roared into the Den Den Mushi, "I'm asking what crimes Yamato has committed, not who her father is!"

The angry question echoed throughout the conference room.

Sengoku's face twitched.

No one had ever dared to question him like this since he became Marshal.

"Roya--"

"Shut your mouth!" Roya snapped, cutting Sengoku off. "Marshal Sengoku, if you can't give me a good reason, don't blame me for stepping out of line!"

He continued, his voice ringing with warning. "I'm making it clear to you, and to everyone in this room, Yamato is under my protection now. If she's done something wrong, I'll accept whatever punishment she deserves."

"But if Yamato is innocent, and anyone dares to lay a hand on her, I will slaughter their entire family. Understand?!"

"This is my Justice!"

"Also, if you want to stop me, send an Admiral!"

"Katcha!"

The Den Den Mushi clicked off, and the image on the screen vanished with a "zzzt."

"Bang!"

Sengoku slammed his fist down on the table, hard!

The officers around him were terrified.

Black Hair was threatening Marine Headquarters!

"Leave this matter entirely to Admiral Akainu!"

Roya put down the Den Den Mushi, his gaze fixed on the direction of Marine Headquarters. He gave a cold order.

"Hang Onigumo in a place where everyone can see him!"

"Yes, sir!"

The Marines quickly put up wooden posts and hung the bloodied Onigumo, barely alive, at the entrance of the G-14 Branch.

Everyone knew that this fight was just a small taste of what was to come. The real crisis was about to hit.

A Marine Admiral was on his way!

"Get out of the way!"

The G-5 Marines flooded into the fortress, glaring at the G-14 Branch Marines stationed there.

It was because of these guys that they were in danger. Luckily, Black Hair Boss had shown up in time.

After this, we're going to teach these bastards a lesson. They need to know who the real boss of the G-14 Branch is!

Roya looked up and handed Doll a large piece of meat with a bone in it.

"Want some?"

"No, I don't have any appetite!" Doll was so frustrated she wanted to stomp her foot.

Yamato popped her head out and opened her mouth.

"Roya, I want to eat!"

"Here you go," Roya smiled, stuffing the meat into Yamato's mouth.

The little girl didn't seem worried at all.

Admiral...

A flicker of worry crossed Roya's eyes.

Yamato is Kaido's daughter. She's incredibly valuable to them. Marshal Sengoku wants to control her, no matter what I think.

Normally, my feelings wouldn't matter. After all, I'm just a Vice Admiral. I'm not important enough for Sengoku to give up controlling Yamato.

As for my potential, that's something for the future. And Sengoku probably didn't expect me to be so stubborn.

But now, after his outburst.
