One Piece: Supreme Check-In System-Chapter 82: The Eyes Above the World — Shadows in Mary Geoise
Chapter 82 - The Eyes Above the World — Shadows in Mary Geoise
The sky above the Voidreign Kingdom was peaceful now, but the wind still smelled like a battle had happened far away. The setting sun made the sky and sea glow red and gold, coloring everything in warm, beautiful light
At the very top of the giant Azure Ocean Tree, Jessie, the leader of the Voidreign Pirates, stood quietly without saying a word.
His cloak fluttered softly in the sea breeze, and his eyes were sharp, focused, as his max-level Observation Haki stretched far beyond the horizon. His senses swept over hundreds of kilometers, piercing through clouds and ocean mist.
Then, like a tiny wave moving across a calm pond, Jessie felt something.
A monstrous pressure. An ancient, sinister aura.
And up in the faraway sky, a giant red eye slowly opened. It floated in the air, like the sky itself was watching everything below, like a big, watching the world as though the heavens themselves had manifested a god's eye.
Jessie squinted at the huge red eye, but he didn't seem scared or worried. He just stood there, calm as ever.
The massive red eye and Jessie locked their gaze. Both stared at each other, but neither seemed bothered
"Tch... looks like the King of the World Government wants to peek in too."
Near him, Kuina stepped forward, her expression tense, her hands resting on the hilts of her dual blades.
"Are they okay...?" she asked quietly, thinking of Meruem, Vash, Uta, and the others.
Jessie gave a small grin.
"Don't worry. Meruem, Panda... those guys don't fall easy. I know their strength."
Kuina let out a breath and gave a small nod, comforted by his confidence.
Miles and miles away, perched on a cliff outcropping overlooking the sea, a small group stood around a Den Den Mushi.
Mihawk, Crocodile, and Big News Morgans were gathered there, having eavesdropped on the battle through various connections and transmissions.
Morgans' feathers were ruffled with excitement, his beak practically trembling as he clutched the Den Den Mushi.
"Big news... Big news!!" he cackled with glee, his eyes gleaming behind his glasses.
Crocodile let out a slow, bored puff of smoke from his cigar.
"What is it now, you damn bird?"
Morgans flapped his wings, practically vibrating with excitement.
"The biggest headline in decades is about to hit the world, Crocodile! Wait for it — the newspaper's already being printed!"
He turned away from the others, his laughter echoing through the canyon.
"Voidreign Pirates' Strong Lineup vs. Immortal Knights of the World Government!"
Mihawk, ever the silent observer, gave the faintest smirk.
"The world's going to panic once they read this..." he murmured.
In the grand Holy Land of Mary Geoise, atop the Red Line, the palatial estate of the World Government remained pristine and silent, untouched by the chaos in the outside world.
Within a dark chamber lit only by flickering lanterns, a massive round table sat in the center, around which the Five Elders were seated. The ancient rulers of the world, their expressions cold, eyes shadowed beneath their hoods.
Suddenly, four black magic circles materialized within the room.
A ripple of dark energy passed through the air as the figures of the Immortal Knights emerged.
Shamrock appeared first, his eyes burning with fury. His battle-worn form radiated anger and humiliation. Behind him, Gunko and Killingham lay unconscious, bodies battered, their breathing ragged. Sommers was already regrown, his severed limbs regenerated with disturbing speed.
Shamrock turned to him with a glare.
"Sommers. Take Gunko and Killingham back to headquarters. They need recovery"
Sommers gave a wordless nod, hoisting the unconscious bodies over his shoulders, his cold gaze lingering on Shamrock before disappearing into another magic circle.
Now alone, Shamrock faced the Five Elders.
The ancient men sipped their tea in eerie silence.
Finally, one spoke.
"It appears you've returned... empty-handed."

Another elder let out a dry chuckle.
"Beaten, were you?"
Shamrock's jaw clenched. His blood boiled, humiliation biting deeper than any wound.
"I underestimated them," he admitted bitterly.
"Those pirates... they're no ordinary crew."
He slammed a fist against the table, his voice rising.
"We should use the Ancient Weapons. Erase them from this world before they destabilize our rule!"
For a moment, the Five Elders exchanged glances.
One elder shook his head.
"We cannot."
Another spoke, voice calm but firm.
"Even if we wield them... Jessie will find a way to deflect or survive. His Haki, his conqueror haki... it rivals the legends of old."
Shamrock's eyes widened.
"You're telling me we just wait? Sit back while they grow stronger?"
The oldest of the elders placed his cup down.
"You forget your place, Shamrock."
His voice was a whisper, yet it carried the weight of centuries.
"We wait for Imu-sama's orders."
The room fell into oppressive silence.
Shamrock was really mad. He stared angrily for a moment, then quickly turned around and walked away. As he left, the big doors slammed shut behind him with a loud noise.
The Five Elders, left alone, stared into the shadows.
One spoke softly.
"The Voidreign Pirates... they're unlike anything since the Great Pirate Era."
Another nodded grimly.
"We may have to invoke the Old Laws soon."
The room's temperature seemed to drop as the name was spoken.
"Imu-sama will decide," the oldest whispered.
Final Reflections in Voidreign Kingdom
Back in the Voidreign Kingdom, Jessie remained on the Azure tree.
He could sense it.
The tides were shifting.
The world's eyes were now firmly fixed on them.
The Big News Morgans' seagulls would spread the story by morning, and the seas would stir with opportunists, bounty hunters, rival pirates, and government assassins alike.
Kuina stepped beside him again, her gaze firm.
Far away, the big red eye stayed open for a little while... then slowly closed.
