Oops, I'm a Monster with a Too Long Prefix!-Chapter 25: He Made an Exception—For You
Chapter 25 - 25: He Made an Exception—For You
Isaac knew he couldn't blame AishaDoll for being persistent.
Online, opinions were volatile. With Aisha's growing popularity and status as one of the top streamers, there were definitely people eyeing her position. If he outright refused her giveaway, there'd be backlash. Some would say she rigged the draw, only giving gifts to her fans or cronies. Even truth could be twisted online.
After thinking it through, Isaac finally typed, "Alright, I'll accept your gift. But I won't send a screenshot."
"No screenshot...?"
"Yes."
In a suburban villa on the edge of A City, Aisha stared at the message with a slight frown.
If anyone saw her in real life, they'd be surprised—she looked even better off-camera than she did in her streams.
Aisha felt frustrated. Why was this guy so difficult?
Not just difficult—extra.
What was he even worried about? Her fame? His god-tier gear? Was he afraid his level was too high and would draw attention? Did this guy think he was that special?
"You don't need to overthink it," she typed. "I know a bunch of top guild leaders and several players who are level 7. I even know ObsidianScript. He owns the first Cragstone, and they sometimes post their character screens too."
"The first Cragstone isn't his," Isaac replied automatically, correcting a basic misconception.
"Huh?"
She seemed caught off guard, either not connecting the dots or not expecting him to respond like that.
Isaac didn't feel like explaining further.
"I'll add you as a friend now. You can send the item in-game. I'm logging off."
On the Celestia: The Eternal Realms official platform, adding someone as a friend automatically syncs to the game itself.
Before Aisha could respond, Isaac was gone.
Meanwhile, her stream, which had just a few hundred viewers minutes ago, had exploded past 2,000. News that she was holding a giveaway had triggered a wave of new viewers flooding in.
People in chat were getting impatient.
This simple gift delivery was taking way too long.
Aisha tried to calm them. "There's been a bit of a delay—the winner doesn't want to provide a screenshot. I know it's just a small giveaway, but I want to be fair and transparent. I'll stream the entire delivery process. Please be patient." She even showed her admin panel to reassure viewers.
But her fans weren't as understanding.
"Seriously? He wins a giveaway and can't even send a screenshot? You're too nice, Aisha—should've canceled his prize."
"Wow, who does he think he is? Some secret boss of a mega-guild?"
"I know someone from G9's fourth division. They're all level 6 and they never act this stuck up."
"Bet he's just low level and embarrassed to show it."
"Watch, his ID's probably something stupid."
Just then, a system notification popped up on her screen.
"Here it is! His ID!"
"Screenshot it, boys! Let's roast him on the forums."
Everyone's eyes locked on the message.
'LoneMadness has sent you a friend request.'
The chat went silent. Completely, unnaturally still.
Three thousand people. Not a single message.
It was like the entire stream had crashed.
Aisha gasped and covered her mouth, eyes wide with disbelief.
Those four letters hit harder than any raid boss.
LoneMadness.
"Wait... is that... LoneMadness?"
In just three days since launch, the name had become the most mysterious legend in the entire server.
The forums were obsessed with theories:
A player backed by thousands of employees.
A former pro gamer.
A shadowy investor.
Maybe even someone from Aegis Corp itself.
No one knew his team, his level, his loadout.
He was like a phantom—an untouchable figure who operated in total silence.
And now, she remembered what he said earlier:
"ObsidianScript doesn't have the first Cragstone."
Of course.
Because he did.
Aisha's cheeks burned.
She'd been so sure that a level 1 Hyenaman Club was an irresistible gift. Even top guilds didn't have full weapon coverage. Surely everyone would want one.
Except for one man.
A man whose team didn't need it.
And he needed it even less.
At minimum, he had Cragstone.
After a beat of stunned silence, the chat erupted.
"OH MY GOD—IT'S HIM! It's LONE MADNESS!"
"No way. I'm watching LoneMadness live!"
"Now it makes sense why he didn't want the prize. Guy probably sells weapons in bulk."
"Dude, he's already stacked. Of course he didn't want a basic club."
"Show us his gear! What level is he now?!"
"Aisha, you have to accept! He never adds anyone—this is the first time he's made an exception!"
Aisha finally snapped out of it.
There had been rumors: all the top guilds had tried to befriend him. Some even offered exclusive contracts and perks, but he declined everyone. No one could get on his friends list.
Until now.
She hit Accept and immediately sent him the weapon, along with a message:
"So it was you... Sorry for earlier."
On a quiet hillside in-game, Isaac sat shaking his head.
All this from just watching a livestream.
What a mess.
All he wanted was to grind, gear up, and make some money.
A new mail notification popped up.
It was from AishaDoll. freewēbnoveℓ.com
Inside: one level 1 Hyenaman Club.
Finally, that whole ordeal was over.
Isaac opened his friends list. Only one name was there—AishaDoll.
Celestia's friends system was designed with realism in mind: players couldn't see each other's status or info unless they'd met face-to-face in-game.
Should he remove her?
Technically, she'd forced the item on him. But she hadn't lied, hadn't played tricks—she followed through, just like she said she would. That was rare.
And maybe a little... admirable.
It didn't feel right to delete her right away.
"Eh, I'll leave it for now. Doesn't mean I have to talk to her," he muttered.
He claimed the item.
Then, out of courtesy, typed a single word in reply:
Thanks.
