Molding Essence production went through the roof with so many new resources entering Monster Paradise.

It increased to a whooping 678k Molding Essence per day! Just two days and he would be able to upgrade the Monster Paradise!

John grinned as he looked at the fields of resources. "Becky will be overjoyed."

He summoned Becky to see her reaction.

Becky looked around blankly before falling on the spot, fainting and drooling from her mouth as she began dreaming instead.

"She’ll wake up soon."

John laughed. He also created a portal in the middle, leading directly to the garden so that Becky could rearrange everything.

Looking around, John couldn’t help but be amazed.

"Wow, there are many exotic resources with unique advances attributed." His field of vision was filled with details of various resources thanks to Inspect.

"How did they get such a vast variety?"

John asked as he turned to Azelis.

"Mostly from their adventures in special dimensional islands. They acquired other things too, like natural Spirit Items birthed by spirit phenomena, and other stuff, but those were taken away, and one of those items was a small bell that I vividly remember. That’s also a clue to find my enemies since whoever killed them must have it."

"Show me," John said, looking at her firmly. "Send me the image. I want to imprint that bell in my mind in case I encounter it in the future."

Azelis nodded as a small soul string filled with the image of the bell released from her forehead before entering John’s forehead.

"Alright, it’s noted." John grinned. "Now, let’s take the resources we need. I’ll also take the ones Jibril needs."

Azelis nodded as she grinned. "Alright. I also can’t wait to learn more Geno Abilities of this awesome Monster Geno Art."

John gave the resources Jibril needed as she and Azelis began training to learn their Geno Abilities.

On the other hand, John sat a bit far away from the duo with a stack of 100 Gold Essence Coins before him.

It was time to become a Gold-rank Tamer.

Taking a deep breath, John absorbed the energy from all 100 Gold Essence Coins as they dimmed and became transparent husks that soon disappeared like dust.

John controlled the powerful and pure spirit energy from those 100 Gold Essence Coins within his body, redirecting them to his soul and infusing them.

Swoosh!

A gust of wind burst out of him as spirit power in the atmosphere resonated with him.

John’s aura surged and his soul upgraded, causing the pure atmospheric spirit energy to enter him, refining and nurturing his soul.

A minute later, everything calmed down.

1. Monster Mutation Evolab: A place where you will have the power to mutate monsters, quick cross-breeding, and much more with Geno Points.

2. Eldritch Gear Forge: A place to forge gears using Monsters’ soul cores, Geno Points, and Eldritch Energy, which must be gathered by entering the Abyss Labyrinth. (Abyss Labyrinth will unlock when you reach King-rank.)

There was no need to think. The only usable skill out of those two was the Monster Mutation Evolab.

John selected it and in the next moment, a new section opened up in his source space, between the section of Monster Paradise and Storage Space.

A moment later, John vanished as he arrived in a large white hall with black check patterns.

The hall had several big devices present.

[ Monster Cross Breeding ]

This device was basically two five-meter tall and wide containers with a strange, eldritch-looking reactor in the middle with a hologram on it that showed how it worked.

Both containers were filled with light green liquid, pulsing with colorful sparks inside.

[ Monster Mutation Chamber ]

This device was a single large container five meters tall and wide with a board before it that had a hologram above it showing how it worked.

[ Monster Modification ]

This device was a steel container with a window, and it was just a square meter container.

John started by reading the information on Monster Modification.

John was shocked as soon as he finished reading.

In Monster Modification, he could see a larger pool of skills of a monster and choose which five ones to keep in the skill set of a Monster!

And the cost was merely in Molding Essence.

Next, he looked at the Monster Mutation Chamber.

A second later, his jaw dropped to the ground, his expression stunned.

’The fuck. Is this for real?’

Monster Mutation Chamber could literally mutate a Monster via Geno Points with 100% success!

For instance, he could put a Monster inside, and then add Geno Points of some other Monsters and start a mutation to change the Monster!

The cost was Molding Essence and Geno Points used for mutation.

Next, John checked out the Monster Cross Breeding.

John was so dazed reading the details that he uttered some eldritch curses.

Monster Cross Breeding had two features.

First, putting a monster in each of the two containers to cause a genetic cross-breed mutation and birth a new Monster Egg from those two.

This process cost 100k Molding Essence, no matter the rank of the Monster, and the resulting egg would be two ranks lower than the Monster with the highest rank among the two.

Second, putting a monster in each of the two containers to genetically design and create a Monster and nurture it to the same rank as the highest ranked Monster of the two, not an egg, but a new Monster right off the bat.

This process cost 500k Molding Essence, but there was a chance that if both Breeding Monsters were of the same rank and at the rank’s peak, then the resulting Monster could be of one rank higher!

John felt a buzz in his head. He exited his consciousness from this section and opened his eyes before disappearing and appearing before the prison cells of Jason and Tavros.

"Alright."

John rolled up his sleeves and sat down before sending his consciousness into Tavros.

’W-What are you doing?!’ Tavros’ fearful consciousness asked him as he saw John arriving again.

’Change of plans. Breaking the contract has become the top priority. It doesn’t matter what kind of pain you get in the process.’

Because John wanted to put two Emperor-rank Monsters in the Monster Cross Breeding device!

And he couldn’t do that without breaking their contract with this bastard!

Without further ado, John began deeply dissecting the contract to understand every piece of the spirit intent it held to break the one that bound the lives of Monsters with their Masters.

Jibril was still Silver-rank, so she could only have one Geno Ability right now.

It took her over two hours to finally learn the first Geno Ability she had chosen.

[Rune of Calamitous Whips]: You can conjure this rune on any surface and set its activation. Any target that enters within 100 meters of the rune can be sensed and detected by you, no matter the matter, and give you a sonar visual image of the area.

If you wish, you can activate the rune, conjuring ten raging whips with fast vibrating water streams that have high damage and penetration. The whips would flail around randomly to cause destruction in the 50 meters area of the rune.

Jibril created the rune and tried it, and was shocked at the destruction it caused. The whips were ten meters long and a meter thick. They packed high impact and penetration damage that Jibril figured was brought by Sonic attributes’ power.

The intense vibrations by Sonic on the Razewater made it lethal. Razewater was already an attribute that had sharpness and could cause heightened bleeding. This variant water attribute opened wounds bigger and made the target bleed faster.

But the cost of this Geno Ability was likewise very high.

Jibril’s stamina was decreased by 75% directly, and this was the minimum cost.

However, this Geno Ability was more like a stationary trap.

This ability wasn’t supposed to be used during the battle, but before the battle, or as a point to start a battle.

For instance, when getting chased, Jibril could put the Rune and she would know when the chasers passed by the rune since its sensing area was a 100-meter radius, though the damage area was 50-meter radius since the ten whips were close to each other.

’I have to get better at this and get affinity for these new attributes.’ Jibril clenched her fists, her eyes burning with resolve.

She got such a powerful Monster Geno Art and this opportunity to become a truly exceptional Tamer. Her parents would also wish for her to strive for great heights since they worked their hardest for her.

’Mom, Dad....I will strive for better like John. I...’ Jibril felt a lump in her throat as she thought of her parents, her lifelike visages surfacing in her mind.

They were there with her just a few days ago, laughing and doting on her, but now they were forever gone.

A part of her blamed herself and John, but she knew that wasn’t right. The world was a cruel place, and one thing led to another, causing her parents to become collateral damage in the scheme of two evil men.

Jibril took a deep breath, her eyes holding newfound resolve.

’Though I doubt I would be able to catch up with John.’ Jibril wryly smiled.

Shaking her head, Jibril went to check up on John.
