Playing With Other Supernaturals-Chapter 1398 Landing part 2
Chapter 1398 - 1398 Landing part 2
Within a lush and grandiose garden, a three-meter-tall golden and muscular man was meditating while standing straight and facing the sun. The wind was blowing softly, and peaceful warmth surrounded the area full of life. But this soothing silence was soon disturbed when the man suddenly shook awake, "...Hmmm?"
He held his head as a rush of memories came flooding his mind, and the spiritual aura he was restraining fluctuated, causing the area around him to shake ominously.
Not far away from him were a few people who were rushing and shouting, "Your Majesty! What's happening!?"
The man stood straight up again and gestured for them to leave as he returned to his previous calmness.
These people were still worried, but they had no choice but to abide by his command.
As he felt them leave, the expression on the man's face turned into a small smile, 'Kisuke Urahara... Welcome, and I hope you can bring wonderful changes to this dimension... Though I also hope he doesn't mess around too much.'

.
"...Fuck..." were the first words Kisuke muttered as soon as he landed on the ground.
With a missing leg, Kisuke sat up using Benihime as support. He was bleeding all over, and his clothes were almost nonexistent, the smell of charred flesh assaulting his nose. Using his remaining eye, he looked around and found himself inside a crater with countless metal scraps littered around him.
"Shit..." Kisuke did his best to stand up and look around more until he found a one-inch white cube. He hurriedly hopped over to the cube, almost stumbling on the way.
As soon as he reached it, he dropped down and grabbed it to inspect. The moment he was able to confirm that it had no damage, Kisuke let out a huge sigh of relief, "That damned Seraselbes... It didn't even land in one piece. Thankfully, she made my ticket to go home sturdy enough to take that beating."
Kisuke then carefully opened a small subspace and secured the cube, "Am I even in the right place?"
He couldn't see beyond the crater, and his senses were currently out of whack. He could, however, conclude that he wasn't around a populated area since he couldn't hear any commotion. 'But I better leave...'
Because Kisuke tried protecting himself on the way to this world, he was so exhausted right now that even his automatic regeneration wasn't kicking in. 'Joking aside, I was able to confirm how sturdy Seraselbes' ship was before I boarded it. And considering how simple the design was, it's meant to take quite the pressure, yet it still ended up like this...'
Kisuke wanted to take back all the pieces of the 'ship' because the materials used on it were not something that could be easily collected, but he didn't have enough time, so he only settled for the control modules that would give clues to what caused the crater and the origin of the debris.
.
.
.
Around ten minutes after Kisuke left the area, two individuals arrived at the edge of the crater. "We found it." A young and slender man with black hair and a well-mannered demeanor spoke under his breath.
Beside him was another young man with white and grey hair. Unlike the former, he had a frivolous demeanor about him, "Why did it take so long to spot this space rupture? A deliberate act?"
"Probably." The former jumped into the crater and answered, "Collect the debris and send it for analysis."
"Wait, what!? That's going to take a whole day! I have a date today!"
The black-haired young man landed and turned around, "Didn't you have a date yesterday?"
"Well, yeah. But we broke up. I have to meet this new lady no matter what!"
The former could only sigh, "Forget about it and just reschedule it."
But the latter still couldn't give up, "Can't we just call a few collectors? You can even call ten of them with your authority, Kurenai."
"I would if I could." The man named Kurenai turned around and continued towards the center of the crater, "Take a closer look. Although burnt and twisted, some of its surface is still visible."
The frivolous man squinted his eyes and stared at one of the debris closest to him. A few seconds later, however, his eyes widened in shock, and he became serious, "...Hold on... Is that perhaps Iocrotrium?"
"That's why we have to collect it ourselves," Kurenai answered. "By the way, Raniel, give grandfather a call and inform him of what we've discovered."
"...Baraqiel-sama? Do you want me to get scolded again?" Raniel shuddered at the mention of Kurenai's grandfather. "...But with this incident, he'll probably forget about it, right?"
.

A few more hours later, with the moon high in the sky, the site where Kisuke landed was being illuminated by floating lamps and cordoned off. The debris that Kisuke left had already been transferred to various facilities for analysis, but there were still numerous people working around the clock to gather the smaller parts and investigate the cause of the crater.
Leading the investigation was a Fallen Angel with light blond hair, thick glasses over his eyes, and a white lab coat. One of the Grigori members working for him had a dark expression, "Sir Sahariel, we found some evidence of organic matter. This might be a failed infiltration."
The Fallen Angel received the tablet from the member and took a look at it, "...Have we confirmed that it's just a space-time rupture?"
"Yes. All evidence points towards that. We have also calculated the amount of force needed to shred this rare metal like this, and it could have taken out half of Earth with just its initial explosion."
"Then how on earth can Iocrotrium be twisted into tiny pieces with just a space rupture of this size?" Sahariel muttered to himself. "Continue your work here and make this the highest priority for now. Collect all the organic matter you can and run it against our database. If that's not enough, request access to the Etoulde database. I'll need to meet and get some advice from someone."
"Yes, sir!"
As soon as he left, Sahariel also took some distance from the site and softly muttered, "Were you able to get that?"
From his pocket, a voice came, [Give me a bit of that organic matter too. I'd like to look into it myself.]
"What do you think about it, Ajuka?"
[No need to speculate. We'll only get nowhere.]
Sahariel sighed, "Right? The sturdiest metal known in the universe, primarily used by Evies, and traces of organic matter? Should we ask the Etouldes about this?"
[Let's keep it to ourselves for now, but make sure to tell the others to keep their ears out for anything strange about the Etouldes.]
"Will do."

Somewhere in the Underworld, Ajuka turned off his transmitter, and the other person in the room asked him, "Ajuka-sama... Was it the space rupture this afternoon?"
Ajuka nodded and turned his head towards Gasper, who was wearing a black robe, "There are many things that aren't adding up, so it needs some attention. How about your side? Any news?"
Gasper shook his head, "No word from my past self nor Kanzaki Mitsuya. It shouldn't have taken too long for them to return contact because time moves differently on that side. I'm afraid that our plan has already failed."
Ajuka was silent for a moment before sighing, "Do you think it has something to do with the non-matching individuals?"
"We only know of their names, but it would seem that they are significant individuals in that world, so the trajectory of their timeline probably already diverted away from ours."
"Is that good or bad news, I wonder?"
"...I don't know. But it'll be great if they could challenge their future."
Ajuka stared at Gasper for a bit. Although he had grown taller and more manly, he was still the same kind kid as back then, "I apologize. I made you participate in something absolutely disgusting."
"No... Please don't apologize. In the end, I also agreed to the plan."
Ajuka stood up from his seat and looked out the window with a pensive expression, "Then let's assume that Kanzaki Mitsuya has failed. Let's dedicate our efforts to the next best thing."
