Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster-Chapter 220: The Foursome (Not Really) And Sales Pitch
Chapter 220: The Foursome (Not Really) And Sales Pitch
“I see…” Rael muttered, letting out a sigh. “Thanks. You can go back to uhh… whatever you were doing.”
“Yes, Master.” The construct bowed and ran back to its friends before skipping away deeper into the city.
He could see many of his constructs scattered all around the temple city, and he failed to understand how exactly they were so peaceful.
I mean… the others are battling outside. Surely… I don’t even know. Rael trailed off, deciding to drop that topic.
The construct explained the basic details of what had happened.
They approached the city, broke through, captured the guards inside, and stored them in cells.
Not a single civilian lifted a finger. If anything, they seemed relieved.
Maybe some grudge between the king and the people? Hard to tell considering I didn’t visit this area that much in Sketa Online, Rael pondered.
Although the Sunken Temple was a part of Aztera, it had its own set of rules and principles.
Basically, an independent city like Celestara used to be.
Though since it’s in Aztera, it’s considered an Azterian city. Oh well… not for long.
But having gotten such news meant he really didn’t need to do anything here.
The soldiers would be imprisoned until the war was over, and the people were not planning any uprisings.
It was almost like the Sunken Temple was asking to be invaded.
With nothing else to do, Rael figured he might as well catch up with the three elves he’d seen earlier.
They were currently in the center of the city, chatting with each other beside a fountain.
They attracted the gazes of most men present. Naturally, Rael was one of them. He casually walked over and sat beside them.
“Would you three be interested in a foursome?”
The triplets’ eyes widened in shock as each one turned to him.
“What…?”
“I’m kidding.” Rael chuckled. “Just wanted to get your attention.”
“Pfft… you’re a bit of a weird one, aren’t you?” one of the triplets remarked with a giggle. “What’s up? You want to add us to your friend list as well?”
Rael raised a brow. “Can I?”
The triplet shrugged. “Why not. My sisters and I add practically anybody, so it doesn’t really matter. Here.”
She tapped the air and sent him a friend request.
Of course, he immediately accepted.
Right… only 10 people are left since Reinhardt died.
Despite that, he watched as Luna tapped the interface a couple of times until eventually stopping.
She turned to him with a mixed expression and slightly bowed her head.
“I apologize for not recognizing you… to what do we owe this visit, Your Majesty?”
“I’m here on work matters,” Rael replied, brushing it off.
Finally, the other two sisters realized what was going on as one of them stood up, revealing a toned six-pack.
That’s Sophie, Rael deduced, and glanced at the last triplet who was simply sitting by, observing him.
And that’s Oriana.
“Work?” Luna asked. “Does it have something to do with you occupying our city?”
“Something like that, yes.” Rael nodded. “I’ve come here because I needed to check out the situation. But clearly, you people don’t exactly seem that occupied.”
Luna turned to Oriana and nodded.
Soon, Oriana switched places with Luna and spoke.
“Rael Sutekh, we are people who don’t have much to do. We wake up, eat, work, and sleep. We repeat that cycle until we grow old and die,” Oriana said flatly. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
“Sure. But what’s stopping you from taking a break, exactly?” Rael asked the obvious. “With so much free time, you can take a stroll around the continent or something to refresh your mind.”
“That wasn’t the point, Your Majesty.” Oriana shook her head, then narrowed her eyes. “The point is that we like living the mundane lifestyle. We don’t want change.”
“Then why are you so cooperative?” Rael tilted his head. “If Celestara wins, change will happen whether you like it or not. I do also have to note that your energy source is likely going to disappear after Celestara wins.”
Oriana’s brow twitched. “I see… so that’s the stance you’re taking. You’re planning on ruining us to better only Celestara, is that it?”
“Of course not,” Rael replied flatly. “I want to replace electricity with magic. You people are very good at it, but you’re avoiding it like the plague. I still don’t understand it, but my guess is that you’re feeling way too comfortable.”
“Hah? And what’s wrong with that?” Sophie chimed in as she approached him, stopping right in front of his face. “The words you speak with that mouth of yours hold nothing but malice. How am I going to power my electric furnaces? Do you think I want to piss in the dark?”
“Sophie… come on…” Luna muttered, her cheeks flushing red. “Don’t mind her, Rael Sutekh. She’s a bit more on the more emotional side.”
Rael ignored her outburst as he met eyes with Oriana.
Then, he decided to show them what he was talking about.

Rael bought it without hesitation. Immediately, the pink mana stone lamp appeared in his palm.
It looked like any ordinary lamp, but it had a small pink pebble in the very middle, acting as the light source.
Rael shot them a look, then simply infused his mana into the lamp, causing it to emit a bright pink light.
The triplets froze, their expressions a mix of surprise and curiosity.
But instead of entertaining them, he simply held out the lamp, and Oriana accepted it.
She inspected the lamp with an amused look before handing it over to her sisters.
As they examined it, Rael cleared his throat and decided to deliver his sales pitch.
