Chapter 450 -450: Don’t Bully a Fat Person Without Reason

Abigail Green thought she wouldn’t be able to sleep, but she was too tired and fell into a deep slumber before even realizing it.

The next morning, she was woken up by Teddy.

The little guy went to bed early last night and opened his eyes around six in the morning.

At this moment, he lay happily beside his mother, having completely forgotten the unhappiness of the previous day. He was restless, grabbing this and that, pulling Abigail until she was woken up and started playing with him.

Abigail shook her head helplessly. Suddenly thinking of something, she quickly looked up at the empty side of the bed and felt inexplicably lost. She then wondered why she felt this way, picked up Teddy to feed him, and heard Aunt Claudia knocking on the door.

Holding Teddy, she got up and tidied up a bit before answering.

Aunt Claudia pushed the door open, followed by Kelly, who was holding a ten-month-old boy that looked just like her. Abigail was surprised. “Is this… Kelly’s baby? So cute!”

“What’s cute about him? He’s just a little rascal.” Kelly brought him in and gave a brief introduction.

Abigail had heard about little Tate from Kelly before, and seeing him now, she felt joyful. Then Aunt Claudia, smiling, said, “Mr. Piers asked Judy to bring her child to the front yard to play with Teddy in the future. Two kids together can be more lively and keep each other company. It will also be more convenient for Judy to take care of them.”

Abigail felt her face warm up. “Um… where’s he?”

“At the gym. He wants you to join him for a workout after breakfast.” Abigail looked at the time; it was just seven o’clock. She quickly got up. “I’ll go now. Will you be alright?”

“Don’t worry. Mrs. Zhang from downstairs will come up to help in a bit. You go ahead.” Kelly urged.

Abigail looked back at her son. The little guy, seeing a child his age for the first time, was full of curiosity, having already forgotten who his mother was.

Seeing this made Abigail chuckle. She quietly slipped out of the room, feeling a bit reluctant but knowing that a new phase of life had already begun.

She couldn’t stay with Teddy all the time. Such love might not be what the child needed.

Brandon was right. She needed to let go appropriately and start living her own life.

She went to the dining room, had a quick bite, and went to the third floor.

This was her first time in the Moon Lake Manor gym.

Upon entering, she found it comparable to a small fitness club, with all kinds of equipment. The surrounding was modified with floor-to-ceiling windows. When she entered, Brandon was already sweating lightly. He wore sportswear, and his short hair was wet, making the usually dignified man exude a bit of seductive allure.

Seeing Abigail come in, Brandon stopped. “I’ve found a few cardio exercises that suit you. You’ll do three sets with me today, then practice them daily. We’ll review the results in seven days and decide the next plan.”

“Okay.” They both tacitly avoided mentioning last night’s flirtatious moment. Abigail responded and followed Brandon to the leisure area, where a five-meter-wide yoga mat was spread out.

Abigail followed Brandon nervously. Fortunately, the following exercises, though complicated, weren’t heavy. After thirty minutes, Abigail felt refreshed.

By the time she got to school, it was exactly eight twenty. It was the first official day of classes, and Abigail had received word to meet at nine in her classroom.

Abigail first went back to the dorm. Opening the door, Sophie was not there, and Lena, with red eyes, was angrily staring at Duncan. Seeing Abigail come in, Lena apologized, “Abigail, I’m sorry. I couldn’t stop her.”

“Mm?” Abigail didn’t understand what had happened and followed Lena’s gaze to see her bedding soaked. She sighed, then turned to the makeup-applying Duncan. “Did you do this?”

“Sorry, my mistake.” Duncan didn’t even lift an eyebrow as she replied.

Abigail found this amusing. Are today’s university students this petty?

She helplessly headed to the bathroom. Lena stepped forward to comfort her, but Abigail waved her off.

Duncan saw this out of the corner of her eye, smugly adding another layer of powder to her already made-up face. But then Abigail came out with a basin, shot her a contemptuous glance, and turned towards her bag.

Splash!

In the next moment, a basin of water mixed with toilet cleaner was dumped over Duncan’s head.

“Ahhh… Abigail Green, are you crazy? What are you doing!” Duncan shivered from the cold water, smelling the strong cleaning chemical. She angrily looked at Abigail while wiping her face.

Abigail glanced at the drenched girl. “Oh, sorry. My mistake.”

“You… fat bitch, I’ll fight you!” An enraged Duncan charged at Abigail.

Lena, frightened, shouted, “Abigail, be careful!”

But before Duncan could reach her, Abigail kicked her in the chest, causing her to slip and fall hard on the ground.

Face down, the scream made Lena cover her ears.

However, Abigail didn’t stop. She stepped on Duncan’s face. “If you still want to stay at the medical university, don’t provoke me.”

Duncan, in pain, suddenly felt Abigail’s words, though not loud, were chilling. Terrified, she nodded repeatedly.

She was used to bullying classmates and rarely met resistance. She had never faced such humiliation but didn’t dare to retort. Instead, she trembled uncontrollably, shocked by Abigail’s insanity.

“Remember that.” Abigail warned nonchalantly.

Duncan felt the pressure on her face intensified. Her face hurt, and she was filled with fear and hatred, nodding hurriedly. “Got it, I got it…”

Only then did Abigail lift her foot from Duncan’s face. She looked at her shoe in disgust, took out a new pair from her cabinet, and threw the old ones in the trash.

Duncan, sitting up, saw this and turned pale. If she wasn’t mistaken, Abigail had discarded a pair of top domestic brand shoes. Though without obvious logos, they were pricey. The simplest pair cost five digits. She recognized them by chance, but Abigail tossed them without hesitation. Maybe she had truly misjudged her.

Lena was stunned by what had just happened. After a while, she finally reacted and gave Abigail a thumbs up. “Abigail, you’re amazing.”

She was often bullied by Duncan. Though protected by Sophie, she’d never suffered badly. This morning Sophie’s class met earlier, and when she saw Duncan pour water on Abigail’s bed, she couldn’t stop it and got mocked instead. She had been worried Abigail would be bullied, too but didn’t anticipate this turn of events.

Abigail chuckled. “Silly girl.”

Lena, unaffected by the scolding, beamed even brighter.
