Reborn As Noble-Chapter 505: Lights of Purity ( )
Chapter 505: Lights of Purity ( 505 )
The ground trembled beneath them.
Small rocks skipped across the dirt road.
The corrupted air grew thicker, swirling ominously as dark miasma began to gather and condense at a single point ahead.
Javier didn’t even flinch.
He smirked, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
“Oh, Buddy… here it comes.”
Cuquawked!!
Buddy answered, stomping once, his claws digging into the dirt eagerly.
The swirling miasma twisted violently.
Forming something massive.
Something heavy.
A huge, bulky form emerged.
Twisted black muscles, armored plates of corrupted flesh, a body built for brutal, mindless destruction.
a walking curse in physical form.
Javier tilted his head slightly, observing it with amusement.
“Hmm… Looks like a final boss…” he muttered thoughtfully.
“Or maybe just a henchman.”
He shrugged casually.
“Well… whatever.”
Without another word, he vanished.
The dark monster, freshly formed, barely had time to lift its heavy arm.
A flash of white light.
Javier reappeared directly behind it, twin swords already slashing forward with terrifying speed.
Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!
One strike after another.
Each cut was precise, shallow enough to avoid wasting stamina, but relentless enough to shred the thick corrupted flesh.
Javier moved like a phantom, his twin swords carving into the monster’s massive frame with dazzling, rapid strikes.
A sly, wild grin spread across his face as he danced around the creature, slashing from every angle.
The monster roared in frustration, trying to turn, trying to catch him.
But it couldn’t.
Javier was too fast.
Too sharp.
Untouchable.
He dashed under its arms, slashed behind its knees, spun around its back, twin swords blurring into silver arcs under the moonlight.
Every time the monster tried to strike, its blows met only empty air.
Every time Javier moved, blood-like dark mist sprayed out from dozens of new wounds.
Javier’s voice was low, amused.
“What’s wrong, big guy?”
He pivoted smoothly, twin swords crisscrossing in front of him.
Leaving deep, glowing cuts across the monster’s chest.
“Too slow.”
Another blur.
Javier appeared above the creature, spinning midair.
Twin swords slashed downward.
Two massive cuts tore across the monster’s shoulders, spraying dark mist into the air.
The creature staggered.
Javier landed gracefully behind it, crouching low.
His sharp grin widened.
Javier twirled the twin swords one last time with a smirk.
then smoothly slid them back into his magic storage with a faint flick of his wrist.
“Well… let’s keep playing.Ehehehe~”
From his storage, he pulled out a different weapon.
A Mana RPG.
Custom-made by his own hands.
Javier shouldered the weapon casually, its lightweight design perfect for high-speed combat.
“Alright!!” he laughed, eyes gleaming with excitement.
The dark miasma monster, sensing danger, roared furiously.
Its massive arms slammed into the ground, summoning a surge of black vines and thorny spikes from the corrupted soil.
Dozens of thick, twisting tendrils lunged toward Javier ,aiming to skewer and bind him.
Javier didn’t even blink.
With effortless grace, he twisted his body to the side, dodging the first vine.
He ducked low under another.
He spun cleanly through a gap between two jagged thorn whips.
Every movement was smooth.
Almost lazy.
As if the monster’s desperate attacks were nothing more than an annoying breeze.
In a single, clean motion, Javier lifted the Mana RPG to his shoulder.
His sly grin widened even further.
He locked onto the monster’s bulging chest. The core where the heaviest concentration of dark mana twisted and churned.
The launcher hummed softly.
Mana gathered, compressed, then flared sharply at the tip.
Without hesitation, A brilliant shot burst forward, spiraling blast of compressed mana energy.
It smashed into the monster’s chest like a meteor.
An enormous explosion shook the entire clearing.
Black mist and chunks of corrupted flesh scattered everywhere.
The shockwave flattened nearby bushes and sent dirt flying into the air like a sudden storm.
The giant monster staggered.
Roaring.
Barely staying upright.
A massive, smoking hole burned through its upper chest, revealing seared, twitching black muscle underneath.
Javier lowered the RPG casually, blowing imaginary smoke from the barrel like a playful child.
“Heh,” he chuckled darkly.
“Big body… but no brains.”
Javier steadied the Mana RPG against his shoulder.
His sly grin deepened.
“Well… I know other elements can’t completely destroy you, creepy thing…”
He tilted his head mockingly as he charged up more shots.
“But this… this is just too much fun!”
Without waiting for the monster to recover,
he fired.
Another mana missile blasted forward, followed immediately by another.
Each blast smashed into the creature’s body ,
shredding armor-like flesh, sending dark mist spraying into the air with every hit.
The monster roared in frustration, trying to summon more thorns and vines,
but Javier didn’t even give it the chance.
The air around Javier pulsed violently as mana surged from his body into the launcher.
Each missile condensed tighter, sharper, more devastating.
The monster stumbled backward under the endless assault, each step slower and heavier.
Chunks of black, corrupted flesh peeled away with every impact.
It tried to block the missiles with its massive arms , but every time it raised a limb, Javier simply blasted it clean off course.
Javier laughed.
“Come on, big guy! Dance for me!”
He fired faster now, barely aiming, letting instinct and experience guide his hands.
Mana missiles rained down like a personal meteor shower.
“Yawn…
Alright.
I’m bored already,” he muttered, spinning the Mana RPG once in his hand before slipping it back casually into his magic storage.
He dusted his hands off lightly, like finishing a small chore.
Buddy stomped twice, sensing it too.
Playtime was over.
Javier raised his right hand high toward the darkening sky.
Mana flared around him.
But this time, it wasn’t wild or chaotic.
It was pure.
Brilliant.
Refined.
A soft smile curved his lips as he stared calmly at the dying monster struggling to stay upright.
“Activate — White Light: Purify.”
The words were spoken gently.
The air around Javier shifted.
Mana exploded upward from his raised hand.
It spread softly, washing outward in a glowing wave of white brilliance.
The dark mist recoiled instantly, hissing, screaming, disintegrating like snow under a blazing sun.
The corrupted monster tried to shield itself.
But it was useless.
The White Light enveloped it completely.
The dark flesh cracked apart.
The heavy, corrupted body crumbled into pure white ash.
With a final shriek that was barely more than a whisper.
The monster dissolved.
Vanished.
Purified utterly, leaving not even a stain behind.
The surrounding field, once choked with miasma and death, felt lighter immediately.
The grass straightened.
The earth breathed again.
Javier lowered his hand slowly.
The glow around him faded naturally.
He clicked his tongue lightly, stretching his arms as if he’d just woken from a nap.
“Man… should’ve just done that earlier,” he muttered with a small laugh.
Cuquawked!!
Buddy flapped his wings proudly, nodding in full agreement.
The road ahead was now clear.
No more monsters.
No more darkness.
Just the quiet, open world under the starlit sky.
