Ella never received an answer to her question. After thinking about it, she realized that he was probably referring to the night they first met. Maybe she mumbled random things under the influence of alcohol.

Since Adrian seemed to have been travel-worn and Ella expected him to sneak into her room to sleep. But not long after he escorted her to her room, he left to work in the study.

"Hmph! When Grandpa comes back, I can talk to him..."

’’You can dream about it," Old Madam rolled her eyes a little, "I will make sure your grandpa doesn’t meddle in your business."

"How about you, Little Ella? Did you sleep properly?"

Ella blinked. For some reason, she felt like the Old Lady’s eyes were sparkling with a knowing glint, "I slept very well. It’s all thanks to you for arranging the room so beautifully..."

With a graceful posture, she returned to the class.

Esther looked at her retreating back and suddenly, she noticed something from the corner of her eyes.

Old Madam King insisted on keeping Riri and Lala for a few days to accompany her.
