"Professor, we have a leeway of about 15 minutes and I am only 7 minutes late but I will make sure to take care of it in the future,’’ Ella smiled at the woman but the smile did not reach her eyes.

The entire class gasped. Mumbles and whispers rose in the air.

Nobody ever dared to go against Professor Jenny as she was the dearest daughter of the department dean who was not only a known person in their university but had ties in the various circles of the entertainment industry as well.

Yet, Ella Yu not just dared to mess with the university god and goddess, but she even acted like this around Professor Jenny.

"How dare you argue with me? You haven’t come to the university in years and now you are causing chaos right after your arrival!" The woman slammed the book in her hand down on the desk.

There was pin drop silence in the class.

However, the person at whom all this rage and criticism was directed stood at the door calmly.

’’Professor, I have a doubt. Can you help me?" Ella blinked softly, her long eyelashes batting against the upper arch of her chubby cheeks.

With her softened tone, one could not help but feel like the girl had been bullied.

The entire class detested Ella unanimously but at this moment, some of them felt that Professor Jenny was indeed a bit harsh to her. Regardless, they enjoyed seeing her in misery as well.

’’You just said I haven’t attended the university in years and then you said you have tolerated me again and again.
