Reincarnated in a Eroge Game With a SSS-Rank Taming System-Chapter 19: Step - Using My Game Knowledge
Chapter 19 - Step 19 - Using My Game Knowledge
One hour had passed, and both Morgana and I were now settled in our respective rooms.
It seemed we would be spending the next few nights separated. After all, having rumors of a commoner dating a high-ranked noble such as Lady Vera was not well regarded within society. And just as I had begun to organize my plan to obtain Romie's attention.
The door to my private room opened and closed right away.
It was Sariah.
And let's just say from the look on her face that she wasn't really happy.
She brandished her sword against my neck before I even had time to react. She was much more powerful than I was. I knew that my only way out of this situation was to smooth-talk my way out of it.
"You're going to tell me what you did to Lady Vera, and you're going to tell me right now, you pathetic slave."
I knew it was no time to tease her.
She was dead serious.
I could see it in her eyes.
If I didn't reply or tried to dodge the subject in some way, she would kill me. There was no doubt about it. She had restrained herself around Lady Vera, but now that she was alone with me, she no longer had any restraints.
"Why don't you calm down, and we can talk about all this..."
I tried my best to calm the situation down.
But... yeah, it didn't work.
"Start talking, or I'm going to kill you."
"I... I didn't do anything to her. You saw it with your own eyes; she didn't push me away. She even told you with her own mouth that we were now lovers. We simply spent time together, and it naturally happened. I didn't do any tricks or anything like that."
She visibly frowned.
After all, there was no proof.
She couldn't be sure that I had done something.
Lady Morgana would never say something like that.
"Then why did she listen to your every word?" She frowned. "You asked her to set up your awakening ceremony, and she listened right away, not saying anything about it."
"What about it? She just wanted me to awaken as fast as possible. What's the problem here?"
She released a sigh. "Bullshit."
"What do you want me to even say?"
She shook her head in silence, looking away from me briefly.
I could clearly tell that it was working. My words were making her doubt.
"I won't kill you today. But just so you know, I'm going to be watching your every movement. If, at any given time, I see something strange, I will kill you."
There was no emotion in her voice. It was cold and calm.
She was telling the truth. She truly believed her words, and so did I.
One thing was clear: I'd have to be careful around Sariah. She was definitely suspecting me, and taming her was basically out of the question. Raising her Affection to four hearts would be impossible.
She put her sword back in her sheath as she walked away from me.
"Don't forget. I see everything."
-Click!
She shut the door.
I released a sigh.
Well, I had Lady Vera's guard now threatening me.
I also couldn't get rid of her. I theoretically could by asking Vera, but then Sariah would know and would take revenge on me.
I had no choice but to keep her around and convince her that my relationship with Vera was "genuine."
After all, even if the Taming Skill had helped, she would have fallen in love with me at one point or another. I just knew it. The skill had only accelerated the process.
Nevertheless, I had already wasted enough time inside my room.
It was time for me to go and find Romie.
I needed to get in contact with her as fast as possible.

[Romie Elowen's POV]
I frowned.
I had just seen something... strange.
A servant had just been threatened with a sword pressed against his throat by the guard of the noblewoman who had just entered our estate.
But why?
She seemed angry.
While the man looked strangely calm, as if knowing that he was in no real danger.
There were two options.
Either it happened often.
Or... he knew something she didn't.
It was hard to tell. However, was it any of my business?
I shook my head and lowered it as I continued reading my book.
Trivial matters regarding servants were of no concern to me.
Focusing on myself was the only thing I needed to do.
Within seconds, I had already forgotten about what I had witnessed. But then, a weak voice echoed inside my mind.
"Hey! You there!"
I frowned, moving the book out of the way.
Below me, at the bottom of the tree, was the same man from earlier, calling out to me.
I stared at him with a frown before ignoring him. I didn't want to engage in a useless conversation.
"The Theory of Mana Volume III, right?"
But then, he shouted the name of the book in my hands. For a short moment, he grabbed my attention as I moved the book out of the way once again.
"I've read it in the past. It's a great book. Though, the one that's really on a completely different level is the Fourth Volume!"
'A servant has read books regarding the Theory of Mana?'
I frowned.
There was no chance.
Though, given what I had just witnessed when he had first arrived and now inside his room...
Maybe... just maybe, he was special.
I decided to take a small chance.
Let's see if he actually knew what he was talking about.
"You've read Volume I and Volume II, right?" I shouted back at him.
"Of course!"
"Fine. Then can you tell me what was the name of the last Chapter in both those books?"
"How Mana Reacts to Intent and Merging Mana with External Sources."
I frowned.
He was right.
Did he actually read both those books?
