Return of Tower's Phantom-Chapter 27 – Heaven Bleeds
Chapter 27 - 27 – Heaven Bleeds
---
Floor 83 – Plains of Stillness
The battlefield stretched endlessly, a serene wasteland of silver grass and floating crystal stones. The silence was deafening. It was the calm before divine fury.
The wind shifted.
Then came the storm.
Three beings descended from the sky like falling stars.
Executioner Aras, clad in searing flame, eyes devoid of humanity.
Executioner Veyra, wielding a whip made of starlight and judgment.
Executioner Dolrin, the silent one—his blade whispered sins before cutting them.
Their combined presence twisted reality.
> [Warning: Divine Authority exceeds environment threshold.]
[System adapting...]
Rael didn't flinch. He stood tall, his black coat billowing, eyes calm as the void.
"I expected one," he said coldly. "They sent three."
Aras stepped forward. "You've desecrated divinity. Killed one of our own. Absorbed forbidden essence. You are chaos in mortal skin."
Rael tilted his head. "And?"
Dolrin moved first. One slash—too fast for normal eyes—cleaved the entire field in half. The shockwave leveled mountains miles away.
But Rael caught the blade with his bare hand.
His system roared.
> [Divine Will (Therion) Activated]
[Trait: Anti-Divine Counter Surge Enabled]
[Cooldown: 2 minutes]
Rael's body erupted with twin-colored aura—black and gold fire twisting like serpents.
He grinned. "Let's dance."

Elsewhere – Floor 50: Temple of Reflection
Lyra stood before the ancient mirror, breathing heavily. Her vision swam. Her heartbeat echoed unnaturally.
She clutched the pendant Rael once gave her, years ago.
"I need your strength," she whispered.
The mirror responded. Her reflection changed—revealing silver markings across her skin, long dormant.
A voice whispered from the glass.
> "Bloodline of the Divine Oracle detected. Seal breaking—complete."
Her body surged with ancestral power. The white glow consumed her form.
When she stepped outside, her eyes shone like twin moons. Her wings—once invisible—now unfolded, massive and pure white.
"I'm coming, Rael. Don't die yet."

Back to Floor 83 – Battlefield of Devastation
Rael darted through the sky like a shadow streaking across light. He clashed with all three Executioners—dodging Veyra's whip that cracked space, countering Dolrin's silent blade, and trading flames with Aras.
Each movement drained mana from the world.
He summoned a second clone behind Dolrin—this one wielding the skill of [Spatial Severance]. The clone's strike landed, splitting Dolrin's armor.
Blood—not red, but glowing silver—spilled.
Dolrin roared and vanished, using divine teleportation to recover.
Aras's spear thrust forward—Rael caught it mid-air, then twisted and unleashed a pulse of pure anti-divine force.
It knocked Aras back half a mile.
> [Divine Executioner Integrity: 72%]
[System Sync with Divine Core: 89%]
Rael's breathing grew heavier. "I need time..."

Meanwhile – Just outside the battlefield
Selene arrived. Her armor cracked from her earlier battle with Rael, but her presence was still noble, still terrifying in her own right.
She saw the three Executioners, then Rael, bathed in divine blood and shadow.
For a moment, she hesitated.
Then she stepped forward.
One of the Executioners turned toward her, recognizing her power.
"You. Daughter of Frost. Do not interfere."
She narrowed her eyes. "I wasn't planning to."
She looked at Rael—whose left arm was bleeding, whose aura flickered under the strain—and bit her lip.
"But... maybe I will."
She raised her spear.
Rael turned slightly. "Selene...?"
She gave him a sad smile. "I still hate you."
He smirked. "But you're here."
She rushed forward. "Let's just say I'm bad at letting go."
---
Final Clash – Twin Front
Rael and Selene fought side by side. Ice and black flame merged in perfect rhythm. Divine Executioners faltered as two former lovers unleashed synchronized hell.
Then, the sky ripped.
A beam of silver light shot down from the 90th floor.
Lyra descended like a fallen angel—her wings radiant, her presence divine.
Everyone paused. Even the Executioners stared.
Rael's eyes widened. "You awakened it..."
She landed beside him.
"You're not alone anymore."
He closed his eyes. For a moment, the monster in him quieted.

And then...
The three of them stood together.
A corrupted god. A frozen heart. And a fallen oracle.
Facing heaven's wrath—as one.
