SEX WITH MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCÉ-Chapter 130
Chapter 130: Chapter 130
- HAZEL -
Dorm at last! I take a deep breath as I step out of the Uber. Or should I say, home sweet dorm?
A smile forms on my lips. Regardless, home sweet motherfucking dorm! I’ll be out of you soon after exams. Ha!
I take another good breath of fresh air before taking gentle steps inside. My hand raids my bag for my room key, if I have it. I can’t remember if I left it here or not. It’s in my bag!
I hold my key out and sigh. I’m standing in front of my room door. Considering the time of the day, my roomies will be inside, maybe with friends. Here’s to hoping no one gives a shit about me much to actually care about my whereabouts and think too deep about a cleared rumour.
I dip my key in the key hole and turn it. Oh? The door was already open.
I take my key out and dip it in my bag. I slowly push the open door backwards.
“Sup.” Savory welcomes me with a pop of the bubble gum she is chewing in front of my face. I blink.
“Hi Savory.” I say, snifffing in her perfume. She scents good. Who knew I’d miss the sight of a certain blonde? She blows another bubble then points in the room.
“Come on in.” She says.
Okay? I look at her warily as I walk in. Why do I feel like they’re about to gang up on me? I look closely at our room. Nothing seems suspicious. Ashlyn is sat on Savory’s bed with her typical girly outfit while using her hello kitty phone.
I haven’t seen Jasmine yet. At least the room’s not crowded.
The door slams behind me, causing me to flinch. I hear a click as Savory locks the door and jumps in front to me.
“IT’S GIRL DRESS UP TIMEEE!” She screams, running behind her drawer. Ashlyn gets up too, following Savory but checking her drawer instead.
Huh? What is this, high school? Make this make sense.
I blink, walking to my side of the room. On the lower bed is Jasmine. . . I squint. My eyes widens for a second like I’m dreaming. She’s painting her toe nails.
“Yo.” Jasmine sneaks me a gaze then averts her attention back to her toes. She’s in on this too? You’ve got to be kidding me. These ladies didn’t even act like I’ve been awol in the room quite too often recently. They didn’t act like they read the rumour nor like anything odd happened these past few weeks.
Maybe the only odd thing happening was in my life, because how on earth and why the actual fuck are they being so suspiciously normal? Can I even tag this as normal?
I clear my throat. “Okay, you guys have to tell me what’s going on.” I throw my bag on my bed. “Hi Jasmine.” Jasmine looks at me when I call her name then winks at me. This makes me grin.
“Girl, sit first.” Savory says with her hands full with three big boxes of make up kits aligned on each other. “On my bed, Jas will kill you if you ruin her nails.” freeweɓnovel.cøm
“With love of course. Murder with a lovely intent.” Jasmine adds.
I chuckle. She can’t actually commit murder but I sure as hell know Jasmine knows a lot of ways to hurt a human. Could be with her athleticism or psychology. “Noted b.”
[ Translation: b means babe ]
I follow Savory closely behind to her bed. Part of the reason I’m this close to her is in case she falls due to the load which I think is possibly blocking her view by a large margin.
Ashlyn adjusts for me.
“Okay sit.” Savory says. I make myself comfortable on her bed. Woah. Her mattress is so soft. I let my upper body fall flat, cuddling her pillow.
“Easy there, tigress.” Ashlyn says and slaps my ass gently. I adjust my hips forward away from her.
“Sorry.”
“It’s okay.” She responds nicely.
My head sinks into Savory’s pillow. If my bed was this soft, I wouldn’t leave the room as often as she does. Speaking of. . . “Why did you drag me here?” I ask the question that popped in my head.
“We have this tradition,” Ashlyn starts.
“One we’ve always kept.” Savory adds, cutting in. I wonder how they always manage to be in the same room each year. I wonder if they’ll be split next year. We’ll see.
“Where we have an all room girl night. You know, where we get to relive being girly.” Ashlyn continued. Well isn’t that something she’d love! She’s the girliest girl I know. “We delayed it this far, awaiting your arrival.”
Oh no. I already know where this is going. The last time I hung out with them, I got drunk, matched with someone on a dating app, it ended up being Killian, and he was mad as fuck.
“And you have to come. You’re one of us now.” I doubt. Savory’s words never convince me. One day she’s a bitch, the next day, she’s a ‘teacher fucker’ bitch, then the day after that, she’s a ‘psycho’ bitch.
Sometimes, a crazy bitch. Then a nice bitch. She’s basically a bitch. But the good kind of bitch.
“Uhh...” If anything, I have to let Killian know about this first. I dip my hand in my pocket to grab my phone but it’s not in there.
It must be in my bag. Dang it. I feel these girls won’t let me stand unless I say ‘yes’. I was cornered on purpose.
“I have exams to study for. . .” I murmur. Exams are always the best excuse.
“So do we! Come on, a day won’t hurt!” Savory looks up to face me.
Or not. Exams are the best excuse to use on people who aren’t them.
“Less than a day, even.” Ashlyn leans closer to me. I can see her face light up as she raises her make up kit up.
I groan. “Okay, fine but just tonight.”
Their happy squeals makes me roll my eyes. I should text Killian first though. I don’t know why, but I think he’d be pleased to know where I’m at without having to track my location via my phone.
I get up from Savory’s bed. “And after having a nice nap. I need to be up all night for this to work.”
“Done. We’ll just do some minor additions to you before you sleep.”
At this point, I won’t complain. I walk to my bed. Jasmine has her feet laying out her bed despite being sat inside. This must be her getting the nail polish to dry.
I reach for my bag, unzip it then dip my hand in. It feels very spacious.
My brows crease as I open my bag wide and look inside. The realisation finally hit me. My laptop.
I thought I put it in this morning but it seems like I didn’t. Ugh! I feel so stupid! I smack my forehead. I should text Killian. Going back to his place now when I just literally left seems stupid and a big waste of money for transportation. Plus I doubt I’d want to leave and Killian specifically told me he’d be overly occupied throughout till the weekend when I come over.
This really sucks.
I hold my phone out. I’ll just let him know I’ll be there tomorrow to pick my laptop up since I won’t be using it today nor tonight anyway. Asking him to bring it to me would be a lot better but I don’t want to stress him. I sigh.
‘I just arrived.’ I text and send.
‘I also noticed I forgot my laptop at your place, I’ll be back tomorrow morning to grab it and leave asap so you won’t have to worry about my disturbance. Take-‘
“Hazel!” Ashlyn calls. “We’ve got the thing set to glam your nails up. Come over.”
I turn back. Ashlyn can’t see me but I did anyway. “Okay, give me a minute.” I turn back to my phone. Before my finger could tap any more letters on my keyboard, Ashlyn calls.
“No! A minute can turn to an hour. Come now.”
“Can’t I do my nails at a salon?”
“That’ll take hours and a lot of extra cash for immediate booking. We’ve got this.” Savory says. “Been fixing acrylic since I was five.” Okay, that’s very not convincing.
“I’ll be there in a second, I swear.” I just need to send Killian a message. Also inform him I’ll be going out tonight.
“One second over, let’s go.” A tap on my shoulder makes me look back. “It’ll be painless, I promise.”
Pain and nails aren’t even a combo, so I think I should worry. Savory drags me away before I could object.
I guess I’ll text Killian later. My lips forms a line as I sit on Savory’s bed. Never again will I agree to something I don’t actually want to do because of anyone. And never on a Wednesday. Maybe during weekend, which is highly unlikely, but never on a weekday.
I hold my hand out to Savory. Ashlyn kneels to take off my shoes. This seems like it’ll be interesting. I’m having a mani-pedi from my roommates.
I’ve never wanted a day to end so quickly before. Ugh.
