Sponsor System: Harem With Infinite Money-Chapter 164: Family is.... Bizzare
"Do I sound like I'm joking?" Abigail replied, exhaustion lacing her tone. "We had a deal—you get me the commission, I sleep with you. I keep my promises. No take-backs."
Ryan coughed again, amused. "Senior, no need to sound so… martyr-like. It's not a death sentence."
Abigail's voice hardened. "Even if I'm a lesbian, I'm no different from any other woman in bed. Unless you think I'm ugly or my body's bad—which it's not—why the hesitation?"
She wasn't wrong. Abigail had every right to say that. Her looks and figure were flawless.
Tall, with legs that seemed to go on forever—honestly, if Ryan weren't tall himself, he'd have felt the same inferiority most guys did around her.
Purely in terms of raw appeal, she was a knockout.
After coughing a few times, Ryan said, "Senior sister, this matter isn't urgent. Let's meet first wherever you are."
"In front of the First City Hospital," Abigail replied.
"Are you far? If you are, I'll come to you. Don't make a special trip."
She had a very straightforward personality—unpretentious and direct. As a friend, she was more upfront than some men.
"We're from the south and the north..."
After calculating the distance, Ryan realized his mother's place was quite far.
When Abigail heard his location, she said cheerfully, "Then let's meet at the bar I took you to last time. I'll take a taxi myself!"
Half an hour later, Ryan arrived at the gay bar, only to find it closed.
It was ten in the evening—the shop should have just opened. He immediately called Abigail.
"The boss and his new boyfriend are traveling. They're taking a three-day break. No worries, I have the key. Wait for me—I'll be there in ten minutes," she said casually.
The boss was a man, and he was traveling with his new boyfriend. Sometimes, Ryan wished he didn't understand such words.
Ten minutes later, Abigail arrived. The moment she stepped out of the car, not just Ryan, but every man around stared in awe.
Standing nearly six feet tall, she was strikingly tall for an Asian woman. Outside of athletes, women of her height were rare.
She wore a plain white T-shirt and sporty shorts, her long, toned legs drawing endless imagination. Her flat sneakers made her almost as tall as Ryan. If she had worn heels, those legs would have been even more mesmerizing.
"How come your clothes go from ragged to stylish in no time?" Abigail asked as she unlocked the door.
She was blunt. The main point was that Ryan looked shabby in his own clothes but polished in the ones Yana had bought for him.
Ryan chuckled self-deprecatingly. "It's mainly because I don't look that good, so my clothes seem ragged."
"No, your features are quite symmetrical. If I had to say, you're a distant cousin of handsome."
They entered the bar, and Abigail locked the door behind them. The place had been closed all day and felt stuffy. She started sweating the moment they stepped inside.
Turning on the AC and a fan, she walked behind the counter with ease. "What would you like to drink?"
"Cold beer!"
Ryan considered the fact that he'd driven there, but he could always leave the car if needed.
"This is a great German dark beer."
Abigail pulled out two small bottles, opened them, and clinked hers against Ryan's.
"Feels amazing!"
He downed almost the entire bottle in one go—chilled to the bone.
Seeing each other's empty bottles, they shared a knowing smile. Abigail grabbed two more and placed them in an ice bucket before sitting beside him.
"I never knew you were this loaded before," she teased. "Buying another villa for Yana?"
It wasn't surprising she knew—news like that spread fast within Tiger Real Estate.
Ryan scratched his head awkwardly. "Gotta treat everyone equally."
"Lucky them, finding such a generous sponsor."
Abigail sighed, then joked, "By the way, you 'trained' Tina too. She must be extra attentive to you now."
"Not really!"
Ryan clinked his bottle against hers again and took a swig. "Senior sister, what's going on with you? Why are you so short on cash?"
Abigail's expression turned thoughtful. "It's about my dad and stepmom getting divorced."
"What does that have to do with you?"
Ryan was completely lost.
She let out a self-deprecating laugh. "My family's story is… dramatic. No one at school knows. If you want to hear it, you have to keep it a secret."
Ryan nodded confidently and lit a cigarette.
Abigail snatched it from his lips—unfazed that he'd already taken a drag—and took a puff herself. She coughed slightly. "Let me get used to the taste first."
"This is strong."

Ryan lit another for himself. "Senior sister, you smoke?"
"I was dumb in high school—tried women's menthols. Quit after my mom beat me for it. Turned out to be the right call..."
She coughed again and stubbed it out. "Nah, not for me. Makes me uncomfortable."
Ryan laughed. Abigail shot him a playful glare. "Drinking without snacks is unfair to you, big spender."
"Doesn't matter. Good company makes the drink enjoyable."
He clinked his bottle against hers again.
"Cheers!"
After another sip, Abigail sighed contentedly. "My family's story is bizarre. Don't be shocked."
Her first sentence nearly made Ryan spit out his beer.
"My stepmom was my girlfriend. She was my high school teacher. She's also my mom's younger sister—my aunt..."
"Wait, give me some time, my brain is not working well."
Ryan coughed a few times and asked, "You mean, you cheated on your dad..."
"The target is your mother's biological sister, who married your father and became your stepmother!"
"She was your teacher in high school, and then you and she were involved in lesbian relationships?"
Abigail nodded naturally and said with a smile: "It's exciting, it's evil, sometimes I find it unbelievable when I think about it myself."
"My mind is a little confused, you continue!"
Ryan drank half a bottle to cool his brain down a bit.
