The Hybrid positioned itself before the two mergers, and in an instant, its body began to transform into that of a beast. However, the Hybrid’s transformation had resulted in a creature twice the size of the Mergers’ own massive forms, its presence dominating the entire surroundings.

Right at that moment, the mergers could feel an inexplicable sense of dread wash over them, the beasts within them trembling with fear in the face of this formidable creature.

As they watched, they then saw the Hybrid raised its hands. For a moment, their hearts had started racing at very fast pace as they anticipate what was to come.

But instead of an attack, the Hybrid could be seen clapping its hands together in a single, swift motion. The mergers felt an unseen force wash past them, and to their surprise, they found themselves reverting to their human forms, their beastly forms disappearing. The sudden loss of their enhanced form left them stunned and vulnerable.

The reversal wasn’t voluntary. No, their beast forms had been forcibly suppressed. The Hybrid’s single action seemed to have instilled a deep-seated fear within them, causing their beasts to disappear.

The mergers were perplexed, unable to comprehend how such a simple gesture could yield such a profound effect. Their confusion then gave way to curiosity as they pondered on what the creature before them was.

Given its ability to transform into a beast similar to theirs, they had quickly assumed it to be a merger like them, but one that had merged with a beast much stronger than theirs. This realization led them to wonder about Dave’s capabilities. If he was able to command such a formidable entity, then he must possess a considerable amount of strength himself.

The mergers exchanged uneasy glances, their minds racing with questions about Dave’s abilities. The power dynamic had shifted decisively in Dave’s favor, leaving them to reassess their situation.

That was when it hit them. None of their previous attacks seemed to have fazed Dave. Instead, he had been grinning and smiling with excitement, exuding an aura of confidence. The fact that he could smile despite being attacked by multiple enemies spoke volumes about his strength. They couldn’t believe they hadn’t realized this sooner.

The memory of Dave effortlessly overpowering the Rhicrobird, a formidable merger, reinforced their perception of his power. They doubted any of them could take him on, given his evident superiority. Now, in their human form and significantly smaller, the mergers felt intimidated by the Hybrid’s presence.

With their beastly abilities suppressed, they had no intention of attacking, not that they could anyway. The Hybrid’s demonstration of power had left them awestruck, and they knew better than to provoke either Dave or his formidable minion.

Inside the factory, confusion reigned as the mergers struggled to comprehend the situation. They had hoped on the Rhicrobird, and the rest of the T and D Mergers to defeat the intruder.

But the Rhicrobird had been punched and sent crashing into them inside the factory. And as they picked themselves up, to understand what was going on, they were met with a shocking sight: a pack of twenty wolf-like beasts charging toward them.

"We’re under attack! Everyone engage!" Jackie bellowed, his body already transforming into that of a beast. To Dave’s surprise, he turned out to be a Triple merger, which is great since he is the leader of this group.

The other mergers didn’t need further instruction; seeing their leader’s transformation, they too began to shift into their beast forms, ready to face the incoming threat.

With transformed bodies, the mergers clashed with the oncoming beasts, as they all locked into an intense battle with them. Initially, it seemed like the mergers had the upper hand due to their large numbers, but soon they realized they were clearly outmatched.

The beasts’ relentless assault, with claws slashing and jaws biting, began to take its toll. Although Dave had instructed the beasts to avoid vital areas, the mergers were still being overwhelmed.

The fight was still going on, but it seems like Dave’s strategy was working perfectly. He had no intention of killing the mergers, as he was merely just weakening them enough to surrender.

The intermediate-tier beasts were proving too powerful for the mergers, as their energy and health points were draining with each attack. Jackie, however, seemed to be more resilient than the others, and Dave responded by directing most of the beasts toward him.

As the beasts defeated each merger; cancelling their transformations, they would then converge on Jackie.

Within minutes, the beasts had taken down every merger, leaving some injured, others unable to transform, and a few who had surrendered after Dave appeared beside them, offering a reprieve from the beast attacks. With the others neutralized, Dave then turned his attention to Jackie.

But he must say, he is really impressed by Jackie’s defensive prowess against the swarm of beasts. Despite sustaining numerous injuries, Jackie stood strong, and kept on fighting.

Dave could only assume his strength to be bolstered by the trio of beasts he had merged with. There must be some extra endurance and strength that seemed to come with being a Triple merger.

With a wave of his hand, Dave instructed the beasts to retreat behind him. Thanks to the 100 Energy points spent on the Beast Control ability, he could now control the beasts indefinitely.

He didn’t need to spend additional energy points to maintain control or summon them again. He initially thought he’d have to do so, but now, everything seem to be balanced.

As the beasts fell back, it was then that the mergers, including Jackie, realized that Dave was the one controlling the beasts. They knew something like this had never happened before; for them to get attacked by beasts.

As mergers, they rarely get attacked by beasts, except from the higher tier ones. But what they didn’t know was that these beasts were all of a higher tier greater than the beast they all merged with. So, later or sooner, they were bound to get attacked by the beasts.

At that moment, Dave had faced the injured Jackie, "Let’s talk," he said, "I have a good proposal for you. It will end the fight between us."

However, Jackie’s response wasn’t what Dave was hoping for. "No fucking way will I accept your stupid proposal!" He yelled, "You’re an enemy, and I’m going to take you down!"

His determination remained unwavering despite the injuries he had sustained so far.

Right at that moment, numerous amount of footsteps could be heard at the entrance, and a large number of masked men could be seen filing in.

"Everyone down on your knees!"
