Chapter 445: Private Room

These upper floors catered to the wealthy, influential individuals with deep connections in society, making the club highly prestigious.

Many people who wanted to rub shoulders with the elite lingered on the first floor, hoping that someone from the second or third floors might come down to mingle. If they were lucky, they might get a chance to meet and hook up with one of these high-status patrons.

Given the presence of such VIP members, security was extremely tight.

Bei Sangyun stepped out of the red car.

The vehicle she had been following had already entered the building and parked in an exclusive lot. When she tried to follow, security stopped her. Only VIP members could park or enter that area.

Having just returned to the country after four years, Bei Sangyun didn’t hold memberships to any of these high-end clubs. But she knew people. A quick call to Zhong Cheng got her connected to a club member he knew. Within minutes, she had the necessary recommendation, and the security finally let her through.

When she reached the parking lot, Fei Chuan’s car was parked but empty.

They must have already gone inside the club.

As she headed upstairs, the pounding music from the first floor assaulted her ears. Neon lights flashed blindingly, and she could hear people’s cheers from here. She frowned.

She knew the second floor had another, more refined club, and the third floor housed private rooms. But the chaotic atmosphere of the first floor already set her on edge.

Would Fei Chuan really come to a place like this?

The security guard accompanying her pressed the elevator button and gestured for her to step inside. As the elevator doors opened on the second floor, the pounding noise from the first floor faded significantly. Large, imposing doors led to the club on this level.

Bei Sangyun hesitated the moment she saw them. Beyond those doors, she might come face-to-face with Fei Chuan. And those girls.

Her hand instinctively went to her head, rubbing her temple.

She had been impulsive, following him here without thinking it through. Was this the right decision? Caught up in her emotions, she hadn’t considered what she would do once she arrived.

Even if she walked inside, she couldn’t simply reveal herself to him.

But... she didn’t want to leave him alone with those two women either. What truly terrified her was the possibility that they might not be on the second floor at all, but had gone up to the third floor—where the private rooms were.

The thought of those women clinging to Fei Chuan, being alone with him in such intimate settings, made her chest tighten.

She knew she had no right to feel this way. It was selfish and irrational. She had been the one to push him away, but still, she wanted him for herself.

"...You’re right, Fei Chuan. I really am cruel," she muttered under her breath.

She had told him to be happy, but here she was, silently wishing he wouldn’t forget her. Wishing he would still long for her, even just a fraction of how much she yearned for him.

As she stood there, conflicted, she noticed a staff member entering through the double doors. She quickly stopped him.

"Excuse me, could you do me a favor?" she removed one of her earrings and handed it to the waiter. "Of course, it won’t be for free."

.....

The bar on the second floor was far more private, refined, and elegant compared to the lively chaos below.

Dim, expensive lighting cast a soft glow, creating an intimate atmosphere where patrons could lower their guard and relax. The lounge was furnished with luxurious, soft leather sofas, each piece a testament to high-end taste. Behind the bar, shelves of rare and expensive wines lined the walls, adding to the sense of exclusivity.

In a corner of the lounge, Fei Chuan sat across from the two women. There was ample space on either side of him. The two women wanted to occupy the empty seat on his sides, but both were sent away with just a cold glance from him.

A hint of disappointment flickered across their faces. They had been here many times before, and when the car pulled up to this exclusive club, they assumed Fei Chuan would take them to the third floor—where more private and indulgent encounters awaited. Instead, he brought them to the second floor and surrounded them with a table full of drinks.

"Mr. Fei, we’ve already had enough to drink at the last bar," one of them said, her tone playful yet insistent. "Why don’t we head up to the third floor? It’s much more fun there."

"Come on, let’s really get wild tonight," the other chimed in.

The pretense was gone. They made their intentions clear. Beautiful women like them were used to getting what they wanted, and no man had ever resisted their advances.

Although Fei Chuan was proving to be more elusive than the men they had encountered in the past, they still believed that if they expressed their interest boldly enough, he wouldn’t refuse.

Fei Chuan pushed the drinks toward them. "I noticed you two only took a sip earlier. That won’t be enough." As he spoke, he glanced at the door and continued pouring drinks for them.

The ladies exchanged glances before taking a few sips and then pouring Fei Chuan another glass. "Why don’t you drink with us, Mr. Fei?"

Fei Chuan offered a slight smile and accepted the drink they handed him.

"If we finish this whole bottle, will you invite us up to the third floor?" they suggested, sweetening their voices.

Fei Chuan leaned back on the sofa, subtly glancing at the door again. He tilted his head. "...Sure."

What he ordered was a strong drink, one that the two women certainly couldn’t finish on their own. Even if they somehow managed to do so, they wouldn’t remain sober enough to enjoy it.

However, the two women were seasoned partygoers, well-acquainted with this club and familiar with the drinks. With their astonishingly high tolerance for alcohol, they managed to polish off the entire bottle.

Though tipsy, their bodies swayed slightly; they were far from knocked out.

"We finished-hiccup-Mr. Fei! Now it’s your turn to fulfill your—hiccup—promise!" The two ladies smacked their lips, clinging to the last vestiges of their consciousness. They were determined not to go down without a fight to win over this handsome man!

Fei Chuan: "....."

He coughed lightly to mask his speechlessness and stood up. "Alright. Let’s head to the third floor." He figured he could rent a private room for them. It looked like the two were on the verge of passing out, and once they did, he could just leave. His secretary would handle the rest.

However, as he led the two toward the door, a staff member carrying unfinished drinks tripped and fell right in front of them.

The drinks on the tray flew into the air, showering the three of them with their contents.

Glass shattered, and the liquid soaked Fei Chuan’s pants while the two ladies’ dresses were ruined.

The unexpected incident jolted the two back to sobriety.
