A middle-aged man kneeled in front of the king. Unlike all the ministers around him, the middle-aged man had a strict but kind face, his body was muscular as though he had gone through hundreds of battles, and his aura was so sharp that it felt like they were looking at a beast instead.

The king stood up. "Duke Coline Tash. Accept the order. You shall head to the coastal city of Fularia and aid Duchess Lena Ivorial in her battle against an unknown elite class alien."

"I accept."

Duke Coline Tash closed his eyes for a moment. Before he was called into this hall, he had met the king in private.

"What? An unknown alien whose strength is so high that it's possible to be an elite class alien?" Duke Coline dropped his jaw in shock.

"Yes. I'm not sure about the details. There's a chance that Duchess Lena is not the one who discovered it as well." Julius nodded.

"Not her? Then who?"

"A few days ago, my daughter Flora and her man, Nathan, arrived in that city."

"!!!" Duke Coline raised his eyebrows. The king specifically mentioned Flora because he knew Duke Coline had sworn his loyalty to Flora. In other words, even without the king's order, he would go there.

And he had heard about this Nathan multiple times.

"This Nathan…"

"Yes. He's that Nathan." Julius nodded.

"…" Duke Coline fell silent for a moment.

"I know what you're feeling right now, but I have met that boy personally. All I can say is that he is a wise man. Although he is a bit naughty, I can see the genuine happiness in Flora's expression.

"Besides, I don't wish for him to think that this kingdom is hateful, so I hope you are able to restrain yourself. Besides, Duchess Lena will probably be the one killing him first if he is a bad person. I don't plan to restrain you too much, but all I hope is for you to observe him first and decide what to do after talking with the duchess. After all, she is her aunt. Even my wife is there."

Duke Coline shook his head. "Your Majesty misunderstands me. If I'm such a reckless person, I don't think I'm able to achieve everything I have right now.

"However, I don't understand why Your Majesty specifically mentions that boy. Do you have a reason for you to be wary of that boy?"

Julius froze for a split second. Wary? He wasn't supposed to be wary of Nathan, considering he had helped the kingdom a lot. Even his daughter was with him, so if Nathan had any ill intention toward the kingdom, his daughter would be the first one to know.

"Do I look like I'm wary of him?" Julius frowned.

Duke Coline shook his head helplessly. "It might just be my imagination."

"…" Julius fell silent. If Duke Coline had just pointed it out, he would probably think about it later. After all, Duke Coline had at least some status to point out such a little thing.

But because he chose to drop the matter, Julius couldn't help but introspect himself.

Why would he send Duke Coline after hearing the news? Couldn't he send another world class summoner instead of Duke Coline? It was true that Flora was there, but with Flora having no more right to succeed the throne, giving another world class summoner a chance to shine would be more beneficial.

Yet, he sent Duke Coline as if he had expected him to do something.

"…" Julius looked down for a moment before realizing something. It was so absurd that he couldn't help but laugh. "Hahahaha!"

The meeting was unofficial and private, so there was only Zack and the War Minister accompanying him. This was the first time Julius laughed so hard.

They didn't even know what was going on.

"It seems you're right. I was wary of him."

"!!!" The three people were dumbfounded, not expecting the king to admit it.

"I'm wary of him because it might lead to my death." Julius smiled wryly.

"What?" Duke Coline widened his eyes. "Should I kill him?"

"No, no. You misunderstand me." Julius laughed. "What I mean is that his luck is just that good… or maybe that terrible?

"Lately, I have been hearing a lot of big news coming from him. While the kingdom has been helped in one way or another, it also means more work.

"At this rate, we can only work to death to solve all sorts of hidden danger." Julius pointed at Duke Coline. "I was probably choosing you subconsciously because of your fatherly nature.

"You have treated Flora like she's your own daughter. And someone like you will probably be skeptical. Maybe… deep down, I was hoping that you would do something… like sending him to another kingdom and making them work to their death after hearing all kinds of news coming from him. It's good, but the kingdom can't deal with all those problems at the same time." Julius laughed. "How ridiculous."

Duke Coline was confused. He didn't understand what the king said. 'Is he insulting this boy or is he praising him? The boy is so good that he wants to send him to another kingdom? That's a contradiction. If there's such an excellent individual, shouldn't a country do their best to keep them?'

To his surprise, the war minister couldn't contain his laughter either.

"Hahahaha. It's fortunate that this is a private meeting or else I can't keep my image."

"Minister…" Zack glared at him.

"Sorry, I can't help it." The war minister regained his composure. "You might not know about it, and it's not really a big deal to the point where I have to report to His Majesty.

"In fact, I think those girls are just joking with themselves. But I overheard the girls saying that he's an ultimate jinx. If you think the situation is already bad, with his presence, it can be even worse.

"After hearing His Majesty's words, I can't help but agree with them now." The war minister laughed.

Duke Coline was bewildered, not understanding a single thing. Even Nathan would definitely protest if he knew that even the king had recognized him as the ultimate jinx.
