Alex jumped down the pit and landed in a dark tunnel.

Then, without hesitation, he started walking deeper into the tunnel. The first time he came here, he could not see anything clearly due to the darkness. However, this time, the darkness here was not enough to stop him from seeing things.

He turned his head just in time to see two silhouettes slowly emerge from the shadows at the far end of the chamber.

They were both women. Both of them were stunningly beautiful.

The one on the left appeared to be the older of the two, though she still looked no older than twenty-five. Her long wavy silver hair flowed like ink, reaching down to her waist. Her deep violet eyes glimmered with intelligence and calm, and her figure was elegant, with soft curves and a graceful posture. She wore a dark purple robe with silver embroidery that shimmered under the suspended flame.

The younger girl standing beside her seemed to be around eighteen years old. She also had long, silvery-white hair that gently swayed with each step. Her eyes were a clear icy blue, like frozen lakes. They were pure and cold. She wore a simple white dress, but it only served to highlight her otherworldly beauty.

Alex's expression grew serious.

Who are they?

He could tell that they weren't ordinary people. He could feel it from their auras that both of them were at least as powerful as him, or maybe even stronger.

They stopped a few steps in front of him.

He held her for a few moments before raising his eyes to look at the older woman standing a few steps away.

"I didn't expect you two to take human forms," he said.

Selyara nodded slowly. Her violet eyes met his gaze. Her voice was mature, ethereal, and carried a trace of elegance as she spoke. "We didn't expect it either. But after evolving, this form came to us naturally."

Alex looked her up and down, taking in her graceful figure and powerful aura. Both of them did not resemble a beast at all. They don't have tails, horns, or anything beastly in human form.

Elyndra giggled softly as she leaned her head on Alex's chest. She wanted to say something, but before she could say anything, Alex gently pushed her back a little and flicked her forehead with his finger.

Pak!

"Ow!" Elyndra rubbed her forehead and pouted at him.

Alex smirked. "I didn't expect you to share the Red Source Crystals equally with your mother."

Her cheeks turned a faint pink, and she lowered her head slightly. But her smile didn't fade. "She's my mother. I wanted us to become stronger together."

Alex sighed with a helpless smile. "You did good."

Elyndra nodded with a bright smile. Alex's happiness and agreement matter to her the most. After all, unlike her mother, she is Alex's contracted beast.

She gave her mother five Red Source Crystals and used five herself. That's why both of their World Devouring Bloodlines reached 50%. Once they devour five more Red Source Crystals each, their Galaxy Devouring Bloodline will reach 100%, and they'll evolve into Galaxy Devouring Beasts.

Selyara stepped forward at that moment and arrived beside her daughter. Then she said quietly, "We are grateful to you, Alex. Truly."

Alex looked at both of them and nodded slowly. "You don't need to thank me."

"By the way, do you remember you once told me about the Era of Nine Swords? You told me that you've found a crumbled temple, and there is likely an inheritance left behind by the temple's owner." [Ref. Ch:- 200.]

Selyara nodded, saying, "Of course, I remember. If you are ready, then I'll bring you to that temple."

The first era experienced by this world was called the Primordial Era. However, an earthshattering battle fought by countless strong beings of this galaxy, including Atticus Finch and Blood Devouring Abyssal Monarch, shattered this world into two parts, and that's when the Valley of Death formed.

That's also the time when the Primordial Era truly ended.

The next era that appeared in this world was the Era of Nine Swords, and this time, Alex was planning to explore the temple left behind by that era.

Somehow, that temple ended up inside the Valley of Death.
