The dragon's harem-Chapter 1157: A Simple Plan
As Merlin explained how her chains work and how they could keep Nina in one place, Claug kept checking Arad's arms. But in the middle, she added something, even her powerful poisons weren't able to put Nina to sleep or numb her hunger.
Green Dragons were also called Poison Dragons. Their poisons and toxins were powerful and versatile. Just how they could make a Demon Lord drunk, they could paralyze, put people to sleep, or outright kill them. They were walking chemical weapons, and Claug was more skilled than most.
Claug lacked the talent for magic, but her body was special. She had grown much larger than her kind, and boasted a higher physical strength and endurance. That powerful body allowed her to generate stronger and more specialized poisons.
Neither Arad nor Aisha could challenge her in making poisons, even if the latter had decades to perfect alchemy. That meant several things for Nina, once her tolerance for poison had been extremely high.
Now that he had become an adult and could see the structure of matter, he could tell at a glance. Just as immortality is a myth, poison immunity is nothing but an illusion. With how many different poisons exist, and they could be tailored and modified, a creature can never be fully immune.
"Even Green Dragons aren't immune to poisons. Their bodies just identify the poison and create an antidote in seconds. Theoretically, you can poison a poison dragon to death, by making a poison complicated enough that they can't make an antidote in time." The moment he spoke, Claug stared at him. "You…can understand that?"
Arad nodded, and a large grin appeared on her face. "I've seen Green Wyrms unable to understand that one key point about their bodies. And here you seem to get it." She leaned on his. "You're right. Nina isn't immune to poisons, it's just that her blood devours anything foreign in a fraction of a second. The poison didn't even have the chance to spread an inch in her veins before being turned into her lunch."
Arad remained silent for a while, remembering what he did inside Zul's body. The legions of while blood cells, the killer T cells, all of them fought to defeat the sprawling mass of mutated cells.
He then remembered how Shi's blood acted, how Nina's blood acted, where she got it, and then, as if something clicked inside his head, he stood. "I got it, but it'll take time to prepare." His eyes shifted to Zephyr.

"Zephyr, can I use your size magic?" He asked, and the half-drunk fairy looked at him, lifted an eyebrow, and tilted her head, "But you're already using size magic."
She didn't miss the fact that he was using size magic to make himself smaller enough to fit into his clothes.
"I can use it, but at a very small scale, I'll lose a lot of my power. Not to mention that I just woke up, I can't control my magic that well yet." He replied, and she nodded, flying to him and taking a seat on his head. "Then you want me to make you smaller and be the one concentrating on the magic. That would leave you enough brain power to focus on other things."
Cerilla sighed, "Do you know what you're asking?" She then looked at Arad, "Zephyr is already contracted with Aella. She sure can help you, but that is at least… insulting to her. Spirits are born from mana and magic, it is like asking a woman for a one-night stand."
No matter how long Arad thought about he couldn't understand what spirit liked and hated, but judging by Zephyr's silence, Cerilla was somewhat right.
"I know what you want." Cerilla leaned forward, "You want her to make you smaller, and then you'll inject yourself into Nina's blood to see why poison can't work. You'll then work with Claug to make a medicine to help her with the hunger." She looked at Zephyr, "But that would require Zephyr to stay inside you to keep her magic without failing to detect you. She reasons her magic never misses because her targets always have contact with air."
Zephyr growled but then shrugged, "Who cares about that? I'll do it no problem, in fact, you all might not know, but Arad and I already have a daughter."
The room froze, and Merlin sighed, "Yuwaku, she is a Nymph that was born from Arad's beauty and Zephyr's magic. From Arad's side, she might not be a true daughter, but from Zephyr's side, she is as much a daughter as they get. While spirits can reproduce sexually, they can also do it magically. The latter one is hard, but can even be achieved without a partner."
Everyone remained silent for a while, and then Jasmine cried, "Wait! You have a daughter now? And a Nymph, where is she?"
Zephyr pointed down, "In the forest of Arad, she is so beautiful that looking at her kills mortals. Their brains can't fathom her brilliance and just get fried. She also inherited some of Arad's void power." But before she could finish, Cerilla snatched her away.
"Wait! Does Aella know about this?" She shook the little fairy and squeezed her like an empty toothpaste tube.
"She does." Zephyr grew smaller and escaped Cerilla's grasp. "She didn't seem to mind, though, and I have a contract with her, so I'll know if she was really bothered."
As Cerilla and Jasmime were trying to understand what had happened, Zephyr flew back and sat on Arad's head. "Arad, see all of them in this room. If you can take only one and leave the rest, which one would you pick? Merlin excluded, she is already one of your wives."
When everyone in the room heard the question, they all froze. All of them were here for that reason after all, and each one of them intended on becoming one of Arad's wives.
"If that's the case…" Arad started looking around, his eyes seemed to stop on Cerilla, but he wasn't looking at her, but at the one standing behind her.
"I would have to take Dalla."
