The Extra Seeks Chaos-Chapter 250: I owe you a lot
"They're already staring at us..." Leon muttered, his gaze fixated on the villagers who were all gathered, cheering and praising the soldiers.
"Hmm... They might be talking about us now," Ethan, who was walking beside Leon, said.
"Hey, Arin. Are you sure you're okay now?" Tessa asked.
She was behind Leon and walking beside Arin.
Arin nodded, adjusting his mask. "I'm fine."
"Well, we're getting closer to them. They'll swarm us any minute from now," Riya said from behind Arin and Tessa.
Almost all the villagers had set their eyes on the five of them, and just like Riya said...
"YEAH! THERE THEY ARE!!"
The villagers instantly began rushing towards the five of them, swarming them from all angles.
"Thank you so much for your help!"
"The soldiers told us what you all did, and how you all made it easier to defeat the Beasts!"
"Hey sir! I heard you have a really cool hammer!"
"Thank you so much, strangers!"
Arin and the others kept receiving praises and questions from different corners.
It was slightly overwhelming, and they weren't even able to say anything.
Well... Except a certain someone.
"Yeah! You needed to see how I struck the Wolf with my axe! The other wolves instantly began avoiding me. They were scared, hahaha!"
"Oooohhhh! Brother Leon is so cool!"
"Yeah! Of course, I am!"
Arin sighed. 'Ah... This is gonna be tiring.'
Finally, after a few minutes, the villagers finally stopped swarming the five of them, though they were still gathered in the middle of the village.
Arin's eyes darted from left to right. 'I still haven't seen Fang...'
Though, the next second, he saw her coming out from a building beside the building where they held the meeting about the Beast Tide before.
She was not alone.
She was holding a little girl's hand as they walked forward.
A small smile formed on Arin's lips as soon as he saw the little girl.
He recognized her from when they came for the bandit mission before.
The girl managed to escape Fang's clutches and ran away to play with her friends.
Fang continued heading towards the villagers who were still gathered.
Instantly, she set her eyes on Arin.
Arin stared back at her, his arms folded.
Finally, she reached the villagers and stood in front of them.
"Fang! Fang! Fang!"
They began cheering her name and jumping.
She smiled as she watched them. After a few seconds, she spoke:
"Alright, you all should calm down!"
Her voice was loud, making all the villagers hear her.
In response to her words, the cheering began reducing gradually, until it finally stopped.
Fang continued,
"Thank you all for trusting me, and for the support you all have been showing ever since! We all in this village have a bond that cannot be broken, and we will continue growing!"
The villagers cheered again.
Fang continued giving her speech, and after minutes, she concluded.
"So, to celebrate our victory, there will be a feast tonight! We will eat, drink, and dance to our heart's content!"
"YEAHHHHH!!!!"
Arin smiled, his arms still folded. "That's a leader for you, I guess."
************
Fang had finished addressing the villagers and they had all returned to their daily activities, and were preparing for the feast tonight.
Now, Fang was standing in front of the building where the meeting was held
Her eyes were fixated on Arin and his team that were standing in front of her.
"We should have a duel again," she suddenly said, her words directed towards Riya.
Riya's expression was hidden by the mask, but her eyes showed a hint of amusement.
"Sure," she replied shortly.
Fang's gaze moved towards Arin, and before he could say anything, she suddenly lowered her head.
"I want to thank you all for your help. Without you all, my soldiers would have suffered injuries, and a few might have even died," Fang said.
She added. "I'm really grateful for your support."
"You're welcome," Arin said. "We were just keeping our own end of the deal, that's all."
Fang raised her head and nodded. "True. I hope you all will be at the feast tonight. The villagers are really grateful, and they would love to eat and party with you guys."
"Sure. We will," Tessa said. "It would definitely be fun."
Ethan nodded in agreement.
Fang smiled. "Thank you once again."
With that, she entered the building while Arin and the others began walking towards the building where their rooms were.
"Where the hell is Leon?" Tessa muttered as they walked.
"He's still telling some of the ladies how he defeated the Beasts," Ethan said.
Arin and Riya chuckled.
"Well, he's really cool," Riya said.
"I definitely agree with that," Arin said.
As they continued walking, Arin began checking the system notifications he received.
[You have met and spoken with The Raven.]
[The Raven is annoyed, but secretly happy.]
[To completely bond with The Raven, you must give it a name.]
[Please, name The Raven.]
[You have successfully named The Raven.]
[The Raven. Name: Bazooka.]
[You have now completely bonded with Bazooka.]
[You can now speak with Bazooka at will.]
Arin couldn't help but grin after seeing the name.
'It sounds cool...'
As for the bond, this meant that him and the Raven could now communicate telepathically, and the Raven would obey his orders.
'There might be other perks of completely bonding with the Raven, but I don't know them now. I'll have to ask Bazooka himself.'
Arin turned back to look at the others. "Alright, I'll be going to my room now."
Riya and Ethan nodded.
"Okay, I think you should still rest a bit," Tessa said, her voice laced with worry.
"I will."
With that, Arin quickly entered his room and shut the door.
Letting out a sigh, he sat down on the bed.
"Seraphine..."
"What is it?" Seraphine asked.
"Why have you been so quiet?"
"Nothing."
Arin smiled softly.
"Come on. Tell me, my darling," Arin teased.
"Hmph, you still haven't fulfilled your promise."
Instantly, Arin remembered that he promised Seraphine that she would go for a walk.
'Shit... Too many things have been happening lately, and I forgot...'
Arin clenched his fists and clicked his tongue in annoyance.
He was actually angry at himself for this.
'Ever since Seraphine has been with me, she has been supporting me greatly, not only with information concerning the Vampires, but also with her strength...'
'I owe her more than a walk... I appreciate all that she has been doing for me, and I have to show that appreciation...'
Arin closed his eyes, inhaled deeply, and exhaled before opening his eyes.
"Seraphine..."
"Yes?"
"I owe you a lot... A lot."
"Hmph, so you're just realizing that?"
Arin smiled. "Don't worry. I'll surprise you."
"Hmm... Are you sure...?" Seraphine asked, her voice low.
"Yes, I am, Seraphine," Arin said, his voice reassuring.
"Hmph. I hope you'll keep this promise..."
Arin laughed as he dropped the bracelet on the floor, and Roxanne appeared.
"Ah, finally..." Roxanne muttered.
She quickly greeted Arin and lowered her head.
Arin smiled. 'Yeah... I still owe Roxanne...'
After a few minutes, Arin was seated on the floor in a lotus position.
'I have to meet Bazooka again, but now, I should complete the Water Pillar Spell,' Arin thought.
'Hmm, I also forgot to test the Chaotic Ember Spell on the Beasts. I'll eventually get another chance, though.'
With that, Arin closed his eyes.

WHOOSH!
Two flashes of light appeared in the forest not too far from Greenfield Academy.
Immediately the light died down, two figures were revealed.
"Hmmm, mother got the location accurately," Kiara muttered.
She turned back to look at the man behind her.
He was handsome... Too handsome.
He had long black hair, pointed ears, and two horns on top of his head.
"Hide your horns, Draka," Kiara said, giving him a light tap on the shoulder.
"Understood, Princess Kiara," Draka said.
Instantly, his horns began retracting until it disappeared completely. His ears also became smaller, and less pointed.
Kiara smiled wryly. 'That didn't do anything to diminish his handsomeness...'
"Look, Draka. This is the human realm, and not everyone is as handsome and beautiful as us Dragons. This means that you might get attacked by the women here."
Draka nodded. "I understand, Princess. I'll make sure to be careful. And if any man tries to attack you, I'll kill them without hesitation."
"No... No, Draka. I didn't say you should kill anyone. We should just be careful, okay?"
"I understand."
Satisfied, Kiara turned and began walking out of the forest.
"Alright, let's go. Let's check out the Academy first."
Draka nodded. "Princess. About my request..."
Kiara looked at Draka again, and smiled.
"As for your request, don't worry, we will explore a bit before heading towards the Prince."
Draka smiled from ear to ear as his eyes sparkled.
His current expression made him look like a little child who just received a gift.
"Thank you very much, Princess Kiara."
"You're welcome, let's go. We must get the Prince back."
Kiara's gaze sharpened as she began walking.
'It's time to come back, Arin... It's time to take what's rightfully yours...'
