76: Chapter 22 Heaven

76 -22 Heaven

Li Qingming kicked Cain, who was lying slanted on the ground, and said, “Get up!

I know you’re fine, cut out those little tricks!”

Cain looked at Li Qingming with a gloomy and dovelike expression and silently stood up.

“Stupid bat, to think you dared to deceive me; you must be tired of living!” A chilling gleam shot out from Li Qingming’s eyes, and a violent killing aura that had roamed the Primordial lands for tens of millions of years surged forth.

Feeling the overwhelming killing intent, Cain deeply regretted provoking the God of Slaughter in his heart, “Why provoke this God of Slaughter?

This terrifying killing intent is a million times more fearsome than Satan’s – how many beings has it extinguished!”

“Speak, reveal all you know.

Think carefully before you speak!” Seeing Cain’s expression, Li Qingming nodded in satisfaction and commanded.

Cain sneaked a peek at Li Qingming’s indifferent face and carefully organized his words before speaking, “My lord, this world is indeed the Middle Ancient World.

However, the cultivation of those not from this world is suppressed by twenty percent.

It was only after I arrived in the Primordial World and then returned that I came to know of this.

Moreover, the two strongest beings in this world, Yahweh and Satan, have the cultivation equivalent to the Early Quasi-Saint level if measured by the standards of the Primordial Land!”

“Is that all?

I have a feeling there’s something you’re not telling me!” Li Qingming said, noticing the evasiveness in Cain’s demeanor.

“I dare not deceive my lord, there truly is nothing more!” Cain’s face showed extreme fear, but inwardly he was smug, “No matter how cunning you are, you will fall into this emperor’s trap!”

Although Li Qingming still felt something was amiss, considering his Quasi-Saint cultivation, he reckoned there was no real danger and hence dismissed his unease.

Holding Cain, he flew towards the horizon.

“You lead the way, I want to explore Heaven and Hell!” Li Qingming clasped Cain firmly in hand, his expression quite serene.

“Right away, my lord!” A spark of excitement flashed in Cain’s blood eyes.

This world was merely one ten-thousandth the size of the Primordial Land, as if meticulously measured.

The entire sky was brightly illuminated towards the Eastern horizon, while the Western horizon was a dark mottle.

Such distinct colors starkly divided the whole world into Heaven and Hell.

“My lord, a thousand zhang up from here is Yahweh’s Heaven!” Cain transformed into a shiny golden Little Bat, held in Li Qingming’s hand.

“Oh?” Li Qingming made a sound of acknowledgment and looked up towards the sky.

There, arch-like structures faintly visible in the firmament, with golden glazed tiles shimmering enchantingly under the bright radiance of the Hexagram.

Li Qingming squinted his eyes and mused, “This Heaven doesn’t seem all that impressive!

I’ve heard that Yahweh possesses three great holy objects: the Golden Covenant Box, the Holy Grail, and the Holy Scarab.

I wonder if they truly exist!

Yahweh, pray that you have these three, or else I will turn your entire Heaven upside down!”

“Halt!

This is the sacred dwelling of the Most High; none may walk here without summoning.

Retreat immediately!” Two tall and handsome members of the Angel Clan, each carrying a pair of pristine white wings, blocked Li Qingming’s way.

“So many rules!

Get lost!” Li Qingming smiled faintly, without moving an inch, an invisible airflow send the two angels flying away.

Ignoring everything else, Li Qingming continued on his path.

Inside the limits of Heaven, countless castles stood tall, Spirit Wood spanned like seas, and numerous angels frolicked among pavilions and towers.

It was truly a scene of peace and tranquility.

“Yahweh, an old friend comes to visit, won’t you come out to greet me?” Li Qingming looked indifferently at the scene before him and suddenly called out.

His voice traversed the Void, penetrating straight into the central temple.

“Who dares to utter the name of the Almighty God so brazenly?

Kneel and beg for mercy at once, and perhaps your life shall be spared!” Before Yahweh could appear, a legion of Four-winged Angels suddenly materialized from all directions, surrounding Li Qingming.

The leader was a Six-winged Blazing Angel.

“Are you in charge here?” Li Qingming asked, utterly unconcerned by the Angels encircling him, focusing instead on the Six-winged Blazing Angel.

“It seems you won’t cooperate!

Very well, then I will let you die with understanding.

I am the Great Angel Commander Gabriel, responsible for guarding Heaven’s vigilance.

You have trespassed into my Heaven, uttering the name of my Lord without cause.

I shall sentence you for the sin of desecrating the divine spirit, to suffer the agony of being seared by Divine Fire for ten million years!

Come, seize him!” Gabriel brandished his sword, pointing it at Li Qingming from afar.

“Yes, Great Angel Commander!” A crowd of Four-winged Angels’ eyes were filled with reverence.

“Hmph, you think you can take me down with you mere chickens and mutts?

Absurd!”

Li Qingming lifted his chin high, his forehead’s lightning mark flickering wildly.

Terrifying thunder appeared out of nowhere, transforming into a sea of purple.

It engulfed the entire Heaven, with waves of fearsome turbulence that were suffocating!

Countless pavilions, grass and giant trees, and sculptures of hundred-foot boulders were all instantaneously reduced to ash.

A group of Four-winged Angels dodged the purple lightning falling from the sky in a rather embarrassing manner.

Gabriel was enraged, his face turning the color of iron.

You see, he had taken action promptly, merely to settle Li Qingming swiftly.

Instead, not only had he failed to execute Li Qingming, but he had also turned the entire Heaven into a land shrouded in smoke and poison.

Yahweh would undoubtedly be furious, and he, the Great Angel Commander responsible for the alert, would have to bear the full responsibility.

The only solution now was to slay the man before him to escape the accusation of crime.

“You have destroyed my Heaven; you truly deserve death!” Gabriel roared furiously, gripping his greatsword with both hands and launched an attack.

Li Qingming chuckled.

As a Cultivator who had been immersed in Martial Arts for tens of thousands of years, what he least feared was close combat.

This Gabriel, only at the Early Stage of Daluo Golden Immortal, dared to engage in combat with him, certainly wishing for a longer life in vain.

“Boom!”

Li Qingming stimulated his True Yuan, reaching out with his right hand, and employed the Witch Clan Battle Skill in an instant.

He shattered Gabriel’s longsword with a clean punch.

The scattering fragments of the greatsword even wounded many innocent angels.

“Hisss!” Gabriel gasped in shock.

“This sword was forged by my Lord Yahweh himself, refined with the essence of chill and Mysterious Alchemy over a million years.

That this man could shatter it with a mere fist is inconceivable!”

Gabriel sensed a disaster looming and turned to flee.

The man’s face was full of murderous intent, and his combat prowess was overwhelming.

His arrival was clearly with ill intent – he had to report back to God immediately.

“Boom!”

Regrettably, Gabriel could not escape.

With his hands drawing a circle, Li Qingming conjured a Tai Chi Diagram out of thin air.

As the Diagram rotated, expanding and contracting, it grew to the size of a millstone and rapidly pursued the fleeing Gabriel towards the center.

“Bang!”

Gabriel had only leaped a short distance before he was crushed into a puff of blood mist by the millstone; only a dazzling golden heart remained, fleeing at high speed.

Li Qingming stroked his chin and mused, “Could that heart be the power source of an Angel?

Interesting!”
