The Greece Antagonist-Chapter 897 - 50 Giant Dragon: There’s No Need, Really No Need!
Chapter 897: Chapter 50 Giant Dragon: There’s No Need, Really No Need!
Under everyone’s watchful eyes, Heluo naturally couldn’t back out and reluctantly deactivated her divine transformation:
“Fine, you all pass.”
Upon hearing Heluo’s promise, Xili breathed a sigh of relief, gratefully looking towards Luo En and the two others.
Although her personality wasn’t particularly delicate, she at least knew what was goodwill and what was malice.
Celebrian treated her like a younger sister, their bond the purest;
Although Rose seemed distant from everyone on the surface, she was warm on the inside, worthy of deep friendship;
Lastly, Luo En seemed lax but it seemed that no matter what trouble she caused or what dangers she faced, her creditor here could easily resolve them, providing her with a deep sense of security, like a wise teacher and a beneficial friend, most reliable.
In this team formed by chance, she was the one who most desired the Dragon Blood, while the other three were essentially accompanying her on this adventure.
This is wonderful!
Xili sheathed her silver sword, even somewhat looking forward to the upcoming adventure.
However, before she could enjoy her excitement, Heluo changed the topic and expressed her concerns:
“But, you all are fighting in the name of the guild, yet all are new faces, the seventh elders of the Dwarf Clan might complain again about us not caring about their affairs…”
“Do you plan to be dishonest about the debt?” Xili became a bit anxious.
“That’s not it. I was thinking of having Gandalf and Belle form a team with you under the guild’s banner. That should be an acceptable explanation for the Dwarf Clan and also ensures cooperation between you.”
Hearing this, Xili relaxed immediately and nodded in agreement decisively.
Fighting dragons alongside these two familiar figures was, of course, more than acceptable — in fact, it was a most desirable arrangement.
After all, after traveling together, she knew Gandalf and Belle very well, and they had cooperated in numerous encounters against dragons. With their abilities, teaming up would definitely significantly increase the success rate of slaying dragons.
“Alright, that settles it then, get some rest early tonight, and as soon as it’s dawn tomorrow, I will take you to the Dwarf Hall for the pre-dragon slaying conference.”
As the negotiation concluded, Heluo banged the table, setting the decision in stone.
Xili, overjoyed, walked towards the door with a spring in her step.
However, just as she was about to exit, she seemed to remember something, turning back to see Gandalf smiling and waving at her, and then she slapped her forehead.
She had been duped!
Gandalf was originally an external aid hired by the guild for the Dragon Disaster, meaning the guild likely didn’t have suitable people for dragon slaying at the moment. Coming across their strong team, they couldn’t recruit fast enough, so there was no reason for them to voluntarily create obstacles.
So, the president probably intended to involve them from the beginning!
Including Gandalf and Belle in the team, instead of forming a new one, was the best proof!
“We’ve been tricked!”
Xili indignantly shared her realization with the three beside her, but surprisingly, they just nodded their heads, their expressions unchanged.
Seeing their reaction, Xili soon realized:
“Did you guys know this already?”
“Not earlier, but when the president shouted to add people last time, we almost figured it out.”
Celebrian and Rose answered calmly, clearly having better insight than the naive Xili.
Seeing Xili a bit discouraged, Luo En took the opportunity to comfort:
“Thinking of it now isn’t bad either, you’ve grown a lot compared to before.”
Xili felt a warmth in her heart, like a poor student who had just been praised by a teacher, and she suddenly felt a bit embarrassed.
For a moment, she even forgot to ask Luo En how he had sensed the president’s malicious intentions.

The next morning, the four of them had breakfast and then gathered in the guild hall.
Heluo arrived as promised, also bringing Gandalf and Belle with her.
“Let’s go!”
Heluo yawned, waved her hand, and led her team into the teleportation array in the backyard.
A burst of spatial fluctuation flickered past, dazzling golden light filling everyone’s eyes.
The bricks were coated in golden paint, pillars smeared with gold dust, floors inlaid with gold pieces, and various life utensils and architectural decorations were made of pure gold. The entire hall was resplendent, like a fortress made out of gold.
If not for the words “Turin” written in Dwarf script atop, they might have thought they had entered a Giant Dragon’s lair.
However, this also demonstrated the Dwarf Clan’s fanaticism towards gold and treasures.
As the light from the teleportation array ceased, the leader of the Durin Clan, Ivald, approached excitedly:
“Lord Heluo, you’ve arrived? Please come in!”
Hearing the voice, Luo En glanced over and found his old acquaintance. A hundred years had passed, and the old man’s beard and hair were frosted white with age, his back bent and his physique no longer as robust as before, his face covered in wrinkles, and his eyes filled with sorrow and fatigue.
Only the crown on his head, inlaid with seven gemstones, shone under the sun, emitting a brilliance more dazzling than gold.
He is a king of the Seven Dwarf Clans, then?
But, he seemed not to be sitting comfortably as the Dwarf King.
With a silent sigh, Luo En followed this Dwarf King into the resplendent hall.
At the moment, dozens of people were already present in the hall, roughly divided into five factions, subtly conversing, maintaining an invisible boundary between them.
Accompanied by the Dwarf King, Heluo led the six of them to their seats.
Then, she took the initiative to introduce the composition of the five factions at the meeting.
The first was the representative of the Dwarf Country’s indigenous forces, the leaders of the Seven Dwarf Clans.
The seven little dwarfs seated in a row were they, who along with the guild had initiated this pre-battle meeting.
However, due to “Dragon Disease”, the seven kings would not personally participate in the campaign but were willing to provide ample rewards and forge the necessary weapons and equipment for everyone.
Second, the faction from the Immortal Palace.
At the foot of the stairs, a lanky young man draped in a loose robe, speaking in a sonorous and magnetic voice, engaged in spirited conversation with his companion. Named Bragi, hailing from the Immortal Palace, son of Divine King Odin and the Giantess Gloede, he was the god of wisdom, poetry, and eloquence, one of the Twelve Olympians.
Beside Bragi, a burly man with a mouthful of Gold teeth, pale skin, keen and far-reaching gaze, back adorned with swords and a horn, tall and muscular, named Heimdall. He was the son of Divine King Odin and nine Ocean Goddesses, Guardian of the Immortal Palace, ranked among the Twelve Olympians.
In the corner, a silent and bulky man, armed with sword and shield, reliable as a mountain, was named Tyr. He was the god of war and courage, as well as the guarantor of contracts, the protector of oaths, and the embodiment of glory, also a member of the Twelve Olympians from the Immortal Palace.
The three were half-brothers with a relatively harmonious relationship.
Additionally, over a dozen Immortal Palace Guards gathered around these three Chief Gods, forming a dragon-slaying team from the Asa Divine Domain.
Third, the Warner Divine Race.
In the front left of the hall, a young man wearing a Crown, with golden hair cascading over his shoulders, handsome face, exuding an aura of plants and sunshine, named Frey. Originally a prince of the Warner Divine Race, now the god of fertility, prosperity, love, and peace, one of the Twelve Olympians of the Immortal Palace.
Behind him stood his elder sister, Valkyrie King Freya, also one of the Twelve Olympians.
Several robed Said Wizards and Warriors of Warner gathered around them, protecting their former prince and princess, subtly challenging the dragon-slaying team from Asgard.
But with three Chief Gods from the Asa Divine Race attending, as opposed to just brother and sister Frey and Freya, the Warner Divine Race slightly lacked in momentum.
However, they still had reinforcements.
These are three tall male elves with pointed ears, elegant and noble in demeanor, wearing Flower Crowns, followed by a group of Elf Warriors.
This marks the fourth faction, another group of allies from Dwarf Country, hailing from Alfheim, the Elf Three Kings, rulers over the three great Light Elf Clans of Vana, Noldor, and Sindar.

With their natural affinity for nature, they were closely connected with the God of Fertility Frey, hinting at a unified front, and stood in distant opposition to the dragon-slaying team from the Asa Divine Domain.
As for the fifth faction, it was a particularly odd combination.
Leading them was a cold Beauty with purple hair and red eyes, wearing snow boots, standing two meters tall. Dressed in a purple and white Combat Hunting Suit, a small Cen Wood magic wand tucked at her waist, she radiated an inaccessible chilly aura, quite like a snow lotus blooming atop a high mountain.
By her side, a girl with long brown-black hair, looking green and somewhat bored, yawning as if unaccustomed to such lengthy discussions.
Beneath their feet, a brownish-yellow tabby cat lounged on the sunlit floor, contently licking its paws.
Luo En’s gaze landed on the cold beauty with purple hair and red eyes, a flicker of astonishment showing in his eyes.
— Scadi?
Why is she here, too?
Immediately, Luo En shook his head in bemusement, surveying the hall filled with hidden dragons and crouching tigers, somewhat amused.
From the three Chief Gods of Asa Divine Race, to the two Chief Gods of Warner Divine Race, to the Elf Three Kings from Elf Country, the Seven Dwarf Kings from Dwarf Country, and the current spokesperson of Midgard, Heluo…
Nearly every notable power from among the Nine Great Kingdoms of the Nordic World, apart from Hela’s realm of Helheim, had come to make their presence felt.
As former rulers of the World, how could the Giant Clan miss this excitement?
Scadi representing the Giant Clan at this assembly seemed quite in order.
Finally, an assembly from Midgard emerged.
For his part, Luo En was confident enough to butcher three Giant Dragons into Dragon Meat sashimi all by himself.
Together with Evil Goddess Rose, Battle Mage Gandalf, Time-Space Girl Xili, Elf Queen Celebrian, and the somewhat mysterious Said Witch Belle…
So…
Luo En scanned the assembly once more, his gaze finally resting on Heluo, playfully nibbling an apple.
“Are you sure this is a dragon slaying expedition, not an assault on the Golden Palace?”
“Can you even say such things loosely? If Odin’s old ravens overhear, I can’t guarantee your safety.”
Heluo shot Luo En a glare and scoffed,
“Don’t worry, you heard right, the mission is just about three Upper Giant Dragons.”
“Yet with this lineup, even if Black Dragon King Nidhogg himself showed up, he’d probably have to lay down, right?”
Xili, upon learning the identities of those present, was dumbstruck, looking around at the legendary deities and heroes with curiosity and awe, like a little rabbit accidentally wandering into a dinosaurs’ park.
Unlike Xili’s excitement and thrill, Luo En’s face grew unusually serious.
This Dragon Disaster certainly had something fishy about it.
But, what exactly could justify such a massive mobilization from the top powers of the Nine Great Kingdoms?
Luo En grew increasingly curious.
In the midst of sorting his thoughts, he felt a tall figure press close behind him.
The proximity slightly unsettled him, making him instinctively shift to the left. The figure behind him moved left as well.
Luo En paused, shifted to the right, and the figure followed suit, sticking to him like a clinger.
“Hey, what are you doing?”
Luo En looked behind to see Celebrian cowering, and couldn’t help but complain.
“Stay still, block me a bit!”
Celebrian tugged at the hem of Luo En’s clothes, speaking in a hushed tone, desperately avoiding raising her head.
What?
As Luo En was momentarily distracted, several graceful figures approached from the front:
“Are you also from the Elf Clan?”
Celebrian shuddered, her anxiety increasing as she hid more firmly behind Luo En, incessantly mumbling:
“Can’t see me, can’t see me, can’t see me…”
