The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse-Chapter 822: Ancient Bloodline Awakening
Millions of years ago, a promise was made that even the passing of time couldn't swallow.
This promise was made between a young man whose existence was unwelcome and a human who wasn't meant to even cross paths with him.
Yet they met, and it was destiny that took hold of that.
This young man was a hated existence. From the moment he was born, everybody despised him. Even his father and siblings wanted nothing to do with him.
The only person who loved him unconditionally was his mother, who, despite his nature, never once looked at him with disapproving eyes.
She was his world, and he was her world. This relationship made this young man grow up despite the hate coming from all directions. He became a capable warrior in the apocalyptic world.
And despite all this hate, whenever there was danger, he never backed down. He fought against odds so horrifying that many would have died without him.
But even after all that, he was never loved. And despite his mother's love keeping him going, it reached a point where that wasn't enough.
The thought of ending it all came to his mind. However, when he was at that junction, he met a lady who brought so much joy and love to his life.
The willingness to live on was again ignited, and for many more years, he lived a happy life. His hated existence was still there, but he found happiness amidst all the hatred.
However, despite his harmless and peaceful existence, the heavens frowned upon his nature, so they placed their gaze on him. And in that hopeless struggle, when everything came crashing down, a promise was made.
At that moment, despite thousands of years passing, this promise was now being fulfilled.
Klaus stood up, now clad in his armor, as he gazed up, watching the cloud of flame forming in the sky.
Queen Lunara was hovering a couple of meters off the ground, radiating an intense infernal energy.
[Birth of the Flame Tribulation, this lady is awakening one of the ancient bloodlines,] the senior said, causing Klaus to ask a follow-up question.
"What is an ancient bloodline?"
[They are bloodlines that came with the universe. They are as old as the universe, and the best part is that the heavens don't control them. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
Since the emergence of the universe, the heavens have tried many times to acquire these bloodlines; however, as something as old as the universe, they were just playing themselves.
They are extremely powerful, and I have to say that I never expected this lady to be an awakening one. Those who have ever awakened such bloodlines already have powerful bloodlines and extremely good karma.
However, as someone associated with a paragon, you can see where my shock is coming from.]
"I guess she must have done something in her past life that even the universe was impressed by. However, this calls for concern. Would the heavens retaliate knowing she is linked to me?" Klaus asked.
[They wouldn't dare. The heavens are not omnipotent, brat. They are also regulated. It's just that they have more supreme authority over the Daos and laws, so they can impose on you and me. However, when it comes to the ancient bloodline, they can't touch that.]
Klaus smiled, watching as the flaming clouds pulled Queen Lunara in and incinerated her body. He was shocked at first, but after a couple of minutes, the heavens split open, and an elegant flaming scythe flew out.
That was when a hand caught it from the flaming clouds. Klaus focused his attention on the hand, which soon became whole.
Then Queen Lunara descended, now looking even more mesmerizing.
She possessed long, flowing red hair, the color of smoldering embers. Looking at how it fell behind her as she flew down made Klaus gulp a few times.
Her face was gorgeous, with sharp features that radiated both strength and elegance. Her crimson eyes shone with the intensity of a flame, glowing softly.
She possessed an athletic physique and was clad in form-fitting, flame-resistant armor that appeared to be made from a combination of molten metals and hardened firestone.
"She is elegant," Klaus muttered.
After flying down and being a few meters from Klaus, she smiled and then swung her scythe. Instantly, Klaus found himself surrounded by a flame domain where everything was on fire.
"I can only hold it for two hours, so get down to it. This is the only gift I have for you for now," Queen Lunara said, causing Klaus to wonder what she meant.
However, before he could figure out what was happening, the red flame started getting absorbed by the two dragon tattoos on his arms. Immediately, his strength began rising, meaning the dragons were becoming stronger.
"What is happening?" Klaus asked.
"This is my bloodline flame. It's called Genesis flame. It has the power of creation and destruction. The one I am sharing with you is the genesis of creation. Of course, I have limited flame essence, so I can hold it for only two hours.
But that will be enough to attain what I wanted."
"And that is?"
"To give True spirits to the dragons."
[How is that even possible?] The senior asked the same thing Klaus wanted to ask. However, watching the smile on Lunara's face, he knew she would tell him after the process was over.
"How are you feeling?" Klaus instead chose to indulge in other things.
"I am as powerful as ever. My bloodline has awakened, and while I don't understand it yet, I know I am at the peak of the Void stage.
But judging by your bloodline power running through my body, I am confident I can handle the Chaos stage experts, at least to some level.
However, with my bloodline power and the fact that I have awakened some powerful weapons, I think I am now at the stage to help you defend Earth." She smiled, looking hungrily at Klaus.
Her plan to get back to Earth before sleeping with him went awry. She had undergone rebirth using the flames of Genesis, and as such, she wanted to give everything to her man now, including her yin essense.
