The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse-Chapter 830: Rebirth of The Queen Of Vine (1)
When Fruity, Klaus's 4th incarnation, met the Vine Queen and her sister, the Ice Queen, again, they were only at the Early Immortal stage; however, they could take on even multiple True Immortals.
It was something very overpowered by the standards of immortals.
It was true that paragons could kill immortals while five realms beneath them could; however, for normal people like the Queen of Vine and the Ice Queen to be able to kill two realms above their own was something worth admiring.
Back then, their names were on every hit list, for when it was found out they helped a Paragon hide his family, everyone wanted them dead.
However, they managed to stay alive until the renegade monk found them.
In truth, they managed to stay alive because of two things. The first was the Ice Queen Domain. It was a domain of ice so chilling that even True Immortals couldn't resist.
The second was the Vine Queen Domain.
This domain was the bane of most immortals back in the Renegade era. It was said that those caught within would never see the light of day unless their strength was at the peak of the True Immortal stage or the early King Immortal stage.
Back then, the two sisters traveled billions of light years, evading one trap after another, all to reconnect with their beloved.
Now on Earth, Lucy, the incarnation of the Queen of Vine, was gazing at the cloud that was forming, a clear sign that her tribulation was coming.
"Big brother was right; locking their cultivation base and letting them absorb loads of spiritual energy was the right thing to do," Pickle Berry said, smiling.
The fact that every last one of his ladies and friends had been made to absorb thousands of Tier 10 beast cores shows that Klaus had a foresight nobody could boast of.
Klaus used a formation he learned from Efad, his ninth incarnation, to help his ladies and friends absorb the cores easily.
And thanks to his blood, he took a Void stage expert from level 1 to level 7 and has now taken a Sovereign, who was at the peak, to the Ascendant stage, jumping an entire realm.
Lucy was at the peak of the Sovereign stage when Klaus locked her cultivation base, but thanks to his blood, she had now reached the Ascendant stage and invoked an Ascendant-level tribulation.
"Would she be okay?" Klaus' mom asked, looking worried as she stared at the thick cloud forming.
Queenie and Nari, who were holding her hands on both sides, smiled when they heard her. Pickle Berry sat on her lap.
"She will be fine. Klaus said we should trust her because she is not an ordinary human. So you don't have to worry," Nari assured the worried mother, who wanted to see her daughter-in-law safe.
Thankfully, Nari's words calmed her down.
Lucy stood there watching the cloud when suddenly, her vision darkened. She then appeared in a thick forest. The forest was so dense that she couldn't see the sky, stars, sun, or moon.
Lucy gazed around for a few minutes before she stopped. She turned back, and that was when she met the gaze of a beautiful green-haired woman with green eyes, who had a crown made of leaves on her head.
She looked exactly like Lucy, but much more mature and gorgeous.
"I have been waiting for long," the Queen of Vine said with a smile. She flew down and stopped when she was just a step away from Lucy.
"You are me," Lucy said, no ounce of doubt in her voice.
"Indeed. I am you, and you are me... we are the same," the Queen of Vine responded.
"Why am I here?" Lucy asked.
"To give you this," the Queen of Vine extended her hand, and a golden key appeared. The moment Lucy's eyes landed on it, a smile appeared on her face without her even knowing.
She took the key and pressed it to her forehead. The key dissolved into her forehead.
"Remember, when the time comes and all hope is lost, I will come one last time. But for now, show the heavens that the wife of a paragon is made of."
The queen moved and hugged Lucy. Her vision returned with a powerful blast of energy, raising thick vines from the ground.
A spear appeared in her grip, and, gazing coldly at the sky, a smirk tugged at her lips. Perhaps watching this, the heavens took offense, so they hastened their preparation, causing the clouds to part and a large finger to appear.
The judgment finger appeared and started moving toward Lucy, bringing with it great pressure. However, Lucy stood there nonchalantly.
She merely raised her spear when the finger drew close.
"Vines of Judgment."
The vines that were snaking around her formed into a thick finger, almost mocking the Finger of Judgment.
The Vines of Judgment moved and pierced through the finger of judgment, destroying it in a single move.
The heavens took offense again, and this time, a large sword appeared. It wasn't the judgment sword, but it was colossal and imposing.
Lucy casually spun the spear in her grip and stabbed it into the ground, causing a large vine, even bigger than the sword, to appear.
It snaked through the air and struck the sword, dragging it into the ground. Just like that, Lucy passed the second level, leaving her with only five more to go.
However, looking at her expression, she wasn't worried at all. Even when thousands of humanoids and beasts appeared, she stood at the same spot and merely commanded the vines to do the killing.
There was a reason she was known as the Queen of Vines. The vines listened to her regardless of how powerful they were.
Legend even has it that she once commanded the Devouring Immortal Vine, one of the seven immortal plants.
Her nature was that of a vine whisperer. They listen to her.
So, without even putting much effort into her attacks, she continues to command the vines, and they are doing her bidding.
And this was when she hadn't even awakened her bloodline.
