As it was already late, Lance only ordered those who had received this blessing to gather around so he could see who they were. Unsurprisingly, most of them were warriors or scouts, playing a part in the military, while the others were of other professions.

The news of the divine manifestation had spread like wildfire, and those who had been touched by the dragon god's light were now the focus of awe and respect. These individuals, marked by the Lesser Dragon's Blessing, found their abilities enhanced in ways they could barely comprehend.

Rusak, Rynne, Mira, Zarra, Kaeli, and Lia were among the most notable recipients of the blessing. Alongside them, a handful of talented warriors, scouts, and craftspeople from the kingdom also bore the mark, creating a buzz of curiosity and reverence among the citizens. Rikka and Dran were also amongst them.

As the excitement gave way, Lance found himself in the private quarters of his palace, reflecting on the events. He leaned back on a cushioned seat, his golden eyes flickering in the soft light of the room.

A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts, and he looked up to see Kaeli and Mira stepping inside.

"We wanted to talk," Mira said, her voice soft but carrying a hint of something unspoken.

Kaeli smirked, closing the door behind her. "More like... spend some time with you."

Lance raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "Is that so?"

The atmosphere shifted as the two women approached him, their expressions both playful and determined. Kaeli sat beside him, her hand resting on his shoulder, while Mira, ever gentle, knelt before him, her emerald eyes filled with warmth.

Lance, understanding that he had ignored their needs for too long, smiled warmly. "There's no need to go around the topic between us after all."

With a grin, Kaeli leaned in, her lips brushing against his in a soft and increasingly firm, lingering kiss. Mira followed suit, her hands resting on his knees as she kissed him tenderly.

The room grew warmer as their affection intensified. Kaeli's hands wandered, tracing the lines of Lance's chest, while Mira's touch was softer, her fingers brushing against his half, massaging him in a sensual but comforting way.

Kaeli chuckled, her voice teasing. "You're always so composed, Lance. Let's see if we can change that."

Mira smiled, her voice barely above a whisper. "Just let us take care of you."

As their touches became bolder, Lance found himself leaning into their affection, his hands moving to hold them both, returning their pleasure. The three of them tangled together, their passion growing more intense as the night went on.

The following day, Lance had everyone who had been blessed gather together, those who were combat oriented and with the magic division heading towards the training ground while others like blacksmiths and healers, heading towards other fields.

At that time, the Temple's courtyard bustled with activity as the newly blessed individuals gathered for their first official training session, or at least, what was about to be so. Aelyndra, standing tall and commanding in her human form, observed the group with a mix of pride and apprehension. Though her draconic blood imbued her with vast strength and wisdom, she couldn't help but wish her mother, Kaelthara, or another elder dragon were present to guide these newly anointed warriors, teaching wasn't particularly her field, in her opinion. Good thing though, that Lance would be assisting her in the near future.

Anyway, since the responsibility had fallen to her, and she would see it through.

Aelyndra began with a speech to set the tone, a brief straight forward statement, directed more to the others than the five elders with her. "You've been chosen by the dragon god for a reason," she said, her golden eyes sweeping over the group. "This blessing is not just a gift—it's a responsibility. You must train hard to honor it and use it wisely."

Rynne smirked, cracking her knuckles. "I'm ready to push myself. Let's see what this blessing can really do."

Mira smiled softly, her aura already emanating a calming warmth. "If it means protecting our people, I'll give it my all."

Kaeli crossed her arms, her sparks of fire and lightning flickering faintly. "I'm not much for magic, but if this can make me stronger in the forge or on the battlefield, I'm in."

Zarra, perched on a low wall, twirled a dagger in her hand. "Let's get to it, then. No sense wasting time." She said, while Lia simply nodded, her serene expression masking a deep resolve.

With the elders so enthusiastic, there was no way anyone would dare slack off, even if they were planning on it.

The day's training was divided into physical and magical disciplines, designed to push the chosen to their limits.

Though she focused more on the side of magic with those who qualified for it like Mira, Kaeli and Lia, Aelyndra also led the others alongside Rynne, through grueling combat drills.

By the end of the day, the group was exhausted but visibly stronger. They marveled at their progress, their confidence growing with each successful trial. It was clear that their bodies and minds were adapting faster through the state of rapid growth, made possible by the blessing. With the way it was, it was impossible to say just what their limits were, yet, and not that alone, it was exciting.

Aelyndra, however, felt the weight of her role pressing heavily on her. Training others, particularly those with such unique abilities, was far more mentally taxing than she had anticipated. She found herself second-guessing her methods, wondering if she was truly qualified for the task. Though she could be considered a genius when it came to magic, she had never for once taught others, and for her, she engaged in more self-teaching than learning from Elder Naerys.

As the chosen dispersed for the evening, Aelyndra lingered in the courtyard, her shoulders slumped. Lance, who had been quietly observing the training towards the end, approached her.

"You're doing great," he said, his tone warm and reassuring.

Aelyndra looked up at him, her eyes filled with doubt. "I'm not so sure about that. My so called students look more confused than not. Who knew teaching basic stuff like these would be so difficult?" She said with a sigh, causing Lance to smile as he listened.

He was well aware of how she felt, after all, after reaching a certain height and even worse if one be a talented individual, it would be easier to explain complex concepts than breakdown simpler ones for noobs to understand.

Lance placed a hand on her shoulder, his golden gaze meeting hers. "Look at how much they've improved in just one day… That means its working. Besides, this will have to do, it's not like we can afford to find a better teacher." He said with a smile.

She let out a small laugh, the tension in her shoulders easing. "You always know what to say, don't you?"

"Not at all, all I say is the truth." Lance laughed.
