The President's Pregnant, Ex-Wife-Chapter 431 – I Just Saw a Pair of Twins
Chapter 431: Chapter 431 – I Just Saw a Pair of Twins
"I told you to get that man you claim looks like me. If he leaves this venue, you will pay for it," Robin said sternly.
After all the security measures put in place, it would be such a shame for their enemies to escape right before their eyes, and he didn’t want that to happen.
The chief of security agents was nervous as he responded, "Sir, I’m so sorry. I went to the lab, but I am already on my way back to the hotel."
Robin thought that perhaps he was sick and was about to ask about it when the latter explained, "I sent the blood sample for the DNA test. Yet, my men are still on the lookout."
Robin was slightly relieved by the information and could not help knowing who that woman was.
He was now married to the woman he loved, which was an accomplishment of one part of his plan, and he could not wait to find his enemies as well.
To begin with, he was just guessing it, but from what Sabrina had said, he was becoming more and more certain about it.
"You better not let the man escape because from the look of it, he was with my wife a while ago and she thought it was me."
The head of security froze slightly as he thought about Robin’s words. Instantly, an idea clicked into his mind and he said,
"That should make it easy then. Where was your wife if I may ask?" He paused, but when Robin did not immediately answer, he explained it further, "I mean, we could check the surveillance cameras there to get something."
"Right in front of the female washroom," Robin revealed as Sabrina relaxed her head over his chest, feeling his warmth and heartbeat.
In his arms, she felt safe like a pampered little princess with all her fears gone. However, her senses were more heightened than before, and she was beginning to fully agree with Lizzy.
That girl might not be as innocent as Sabrina thought when she spilled the drink on her and Robin.
"Then I have a feeling that the reason why I didn’t find them before was because they were hiding in the washrooms?"
Robin couldn’t help but agree with the suspicion, since the washroom was the only place without any CCTV cameras.
"I don’t think they are here anymore," he thought aloud. He had just come out of the washroom and from what Sabrina revealed, the man had been with her.
"I will still get some of my men to check and will have either Peter or Daniel double check the washroom entrance surveillances again," the head of security suggested.
"You better do so," Robin responded sternly before ending the call.
Sabrina was still shivering in his arms due to the shock as he led her back to the reception area. "Please don’t worry. We shall get to the bottom of this," he assured her.
He was even carrying the tail of her gown as they walked back to the reception area.
"I hope so Robin, I really thought it was you so do you think it could be Martin?" Sabrina asked out of the blue.
Robin did not want her to harbor any fears and explained it calmly to her, "My queen, it could be anyone but please be assured that I will take care of everything, okay?"
"Okay but I have to check on Matilda. She has been behaving strangely," Sabrina said worriedly.
With Robin by her side, her fears dissipated but now, she knew that there was an enemy who looked exactly like her husband.
She needed to be extra careful to not fall into another trap ever again.
"Alright, let’s go," Robin said but as they reached the entrance of the reception area, they were swarmed by the reporters.
Since Robin was the one who invited them, he had no choice but to face them, though he was not in the mood at the moment.
However, their attention was drawn to Sabrina as one of them asked her, "Mrs. Jewel, how do you feel about getting married to your ex-husband again?"
Sabrina’s heart warmed at the question as she glanced at Robin once again like a teenager in love.
Robin was curious about the answer she was going to give, and his heart thumped slightly. He was strangely nervous because her opinion about him mattered more than anything else in this world to him.
"It’s amazing and the most fulfilling thing," Sabrina said. Seeing the shocked look on their faces, she went on to explain, "You might not understand, but Robin is the best thing that ever happened to me."
The media representatives were very happy to hear her response. After all, Sabrina’s relationship with Robin was always on the lips of the media, especially after the divorce.
Before this, they had heard little or nothing about her. One of them asked the question that was on their minds.
"Mrs. Jewel, we are very happy to hear that. So, if I may ask, what about your pregnancy? We can see that your stomach is all flat again but there is no baby."
Sabrina was skeptical about revealing anything about her pregnancy to them because of the man she had just seen, whom she knew nothing about.
Robin was equally uncomfortable with the question at the moment and was about to find an excuse when Sabrina said,
"That is a surprise you should keep looking forward to."
Robin smiled and was very happy with her response. It was exactly what he had in mind to say, though differently.
He couldn’t help but feel that indeed, they were a match made in heaven. It was as if this woman could read the intent of his mind and he couldn’t help the excitement brewing in his heart.
The media reps were a little dismayed to not get the information they were looking for, but from what Sabrina had said, they just had to wait for whatever surprise she had prepared or was still preparing.
"Mr. Jewel, how do you feel being married to your ex-wife again?" one of them asked again. Robin smiled proudly.
He could write a thousand-Chapter novel about the love he had for Sabrina and knowing that whoever the man was, was interested in his wife, he meant to send a message across through the media.
"I’m the happiest man on earth and I want to use this medium to announce to the world that I love my wife so much and I will make sure that there is always a smile on her face."
The media reps smiled. It wasn’t the first time they had heard Robin say that, but the way he said it now seemed as if he was telling somebody else, but it was still something they could not put a finger on.
One of them asked him, "Mr. Jewel, have you always been this sweet?"
Robin glanced at his wife and chuckled. He wondered how he had messed up his life so much in his early days because all his time with other women never brought him the peace, joy, and fulfillment he found with Sabrina.
They had even attended the same college, and yet, he knew nothing about her when she had known him for such a long time but kept a distance.
What an asshole he was to have missed this hot love given to him without a fee. After all, his wife’s love for him was priceless.
He wished he wasn’t such a jerk in the past. He could have started enjoying the peace and tranquility a long time ago.
"No, but the right woman brought out the best in me, and that is my wife," he said proudly. Sabrina’s cheeks turned crimson, and she regretted thinking that Robin had changed when she was met with his look-alike.
She was even more certain that this man meant every word he said to both her and the media. He couldn’t wait for her to see the surprises he had for their honeymoon.
One of the media reps threw a last question at Sabrina. "Mrs. Jewel, so what is your message to all those women who have eyes on your husband? I don’t think they would give up easily."
The rep was a little embarrassed by Sabrina’s response as she questioned, "are you one of those girls?"
Though Sabrina was smiling, there was coldness in her eyes, as she could not endure any woman being close to her man again.
The reporter was speechless and responded pleadingly when Robin equally glared at her.
"No, no. I was just speaking on behalf of the single women out there who still think that Mr. Jewel would go back to who he was before."
"Since you are not one of them, then you shouldn’t worry about what I would do to them if they dared to come close to my husband, right?" Sabrina asked with a smile that did not reach her eyes.
Back then, she could tolerate it for as long as Robin did not bring another woman home, but not anymore.

In the underground garage where the fake Robin was hiding after narrowly escaping from Robin, he received a text message from Hazel.
"Guess what, I just saw a pair of twins. One looks like Sabrina and the other like Robin." The fake Robin instantly felt a sharp pain in his chest.
