From the other end of the Gate connected to Sheol, a cool breeze that carried both Ether and Origin Essence began to blow into the tunnel under the careful control of Rowan's dimensional soul.

The breeze was strong at the end of the Purgatory Gate. Still, as it blew towards the other side of the tunnel, it continuously weakened until only a minor amount of Ether and Origin Essence could be sensed at the other side.

All of this was deliberate. If Rowan wanted the transition from Aether to Ether and Primordial Essence to Origin Essence in the bodies and souls of his children to become smoother, he had to slowly introduce it to them so their adaptation would not be extremely violent, and most of them would survive this process.

There were ways that he could have done this quickly, but such methods would be needlessly cruel and lead to the death of many of his children, so following that path would be madness.

With the careful integration of Ether and Origin Essence in the bodies of his children, it would be a chance for them to find the new methods of cultivation that his dimensional soul was busy creating, as this Purgatory Gate was not just a trial, but it was an opportunity.

All of his previous foundations had been placed in the care of his dimensional soul, and he was in charge of ferrying all of that into his new realm.

It would take a while for the Purgatory Gate to be perfected because it was not a simple system. He had to make countless minor tweaks to ensure it would adapt to the individual needs of all who passed through it.

It would not be much of a test of adaptability if those of his children who were immortal could walk the same road as those who were mortal. The Purgatory Gate was to adapt to the individual, and by the time they walked out of the other end, they would be heirs of Origin.

Rowan's dimensional flesh was barely focusing on the works of his dimensional soul as he already moved towards the table and sat before the map.

A few quick instructions to Circe, and she bowed before she left the room to follow his commands. She was to slowly release her duties as the owner of the Booze Palace to Achimedes so that she could pursue the purpose that had caused Rowan to carry her to the higher realms.

After fifty million years of refinement, the Aura emerging from this map was at the Proto–Source Level when it was barely at the Apocalypse Grade at the start of the refinement, and it would not take long for it to become a Source Level treasure as time went on and more Primordial Aura flowed through it, enhancing the degree of proficiency it was gathering.

Rowan's concentration scattered into many parts, but he was primarily focused on the most critical matters, and the first he had to tackle was the state of the storm.

The immortal eye above the storm was simply a means for him to connect to all of existence so that he could precisely deliver the storm to the place that it was needed.

The map before him was an essential tool that revealed all of existence, including within the Primordial Domains.

Now that the storm was connected to all of his targets, Rowan could begin the next phase.

The beginning of the storm had been destructive, and Rowan could not avoid that scenario. He was basically drilling a hole through Reality where he could connect the passage he had gained from the World Stele that led to the outside of Reality.

With a wave of his consciousness, he reduced the strength of the storm, and he idly noted that in most of the Primordial Domains, especially in the City of Light and the Great Abyss, the storm had been shattered by certain great powers.

Rowan had long expected this, and he could easily recreate this passage again because only the surface level of the storm had shattered. However, he was not planning to replace it for a while because he believed that after the next part of the storm was activated, it would not become a source of destruction but a valuable agency sought by everyone.

At that time, he should be able to use this to his advantage.

This storm was simply an expression of power, a power that the Primordials had denied to all life in existence when they drained all the Primordial Essence from Reality, but by his ability, he was returning that power to Reality.

Of course, this power was tainted. It did not originate from this Reality, and therefore, its roots were flawed. Still, Rowan believed that most immortals would not be able to perceive any disadvantage from this flaw unless they wished to cultivate to the level of a Primordial. Rowan felt such an event was improbable, at least not in the short term.

Primordial Essence was denied to all of Reality, and only Primordial Chaos gave an extremely diluted version to the immortals who chose to manage the affairs of the lower realms. Rowan saw this as the bribe that Chaos uses to draw immortals to protect the lower realms, and not just destroy them.

Every dimension in existence was powered by Essence sourced from outside Reality, but they did not know this; instead, they believed that this power came from Nothingness.

To gain more power, most immortals would choose to find the World Stele to become a World Bearer so their dimensions could be easily developed. However, if they knew that the power developing their dimension would have served them better if it were being channeled into their Immortal Paths, they would never agree to become World Bearers because, ultimately, all their sacrifices would end up in the hands of the Primordials.

Rowan had once seen a vision about the Primordial Era. At that time, the number of powerful immortals was extremely great, and one reason for that was that there was still Primordial Essence left inside Reality, making it easier for immortals to grow stronger.

The storm ravaging Reality held a lot of Essence, but Rowan had deliberately reduced the amount of Essence in the storm to less than a fraction of what it could contain. In a single move from his consciousness, he increased the amount of Essence to five percent.
