The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL]-Chapter 372: Made It
Chapter 372: Made It
Ollie had really made it.
He’d made it to the medical bay—again.
And while he had also succeeded in advancing to A-rank, he had also inadvertently succeeded in nearly giving everyone a collective heart attack.
Frankly, Ollie was worried about this.
Worried his parents were going to pull him out of everything, wrap him in bubble wrap, and drag him home because he was an idiot.
So naturally, the master eavesdropper was pretending to "rest" again, eyes shut, ears sharp, straining to catch every word floating in the room around him.
Only to be caught again by Kyle, who had been hypersensitive to his movements since they picked him up from his slump.
The adjutant sat by the side of his bed, one eyebrow raised at the allegedly passed-out disaster on the bed.
A faint smirk tugged at his mouth, but he let the mop be this time, for that was really one hell of a painful ticket to the infirmary.
Also, this time, Luca couldn’t just sit still and called in the elders to take a look at Ollie directly.
Now, had he been like Guard Terrence, then maybe they could’ve gone to them instead, but this guy had to be half-carried, half-dragged into the medical bay after his dramatic collapse.
But what got them worried was how they had to wait until all the residual energy with his signature had dissipated before they could touch him.
And that felt like an entire eternity, so no one was surprised that the big guns were called in.
The elders gathered calmly, skeletal frames faintly glowing with their usual ethereal silhouettes as they gave the results of their assessments.
"The Young Lord should be fine now; he’s not leaking anywhere, and he just needs to supplement his body with enough spiritual energy after all that exertion."
"And as for why he collapsed while the guard managed to walk out like that...it’s likely because the guard’s physical abilities, particularly his constitution, were probably closer to his new spiritual ability rating," mused Elder Shen.
Elder Feng nodded sagely. "Meanwhile, this little one..." He gestured at the unconscious Ollie, "took the spiritual enhancement pill first, which made it more difficult for him."
"If he’d used the constitution manuals first, then maybe it would’ve been easier."
"But even then, the manual just made what was inevitable come faster. After all, at the rate he consumed spiritual food, it was just a matter of time."
Luca’s golden eyes widened slightly. And everyone else couldn’t help but sigh at this information.
"In fact," added Elder Wei with a faint chuckle, "this was probably the better outcome. Here, surrounded by people who could stabilize him, he was safe. Because he might’ve been in real trouble if it had happened elsewhere."
Now that was very true, and Kyle could just imagine what it could’ve looked like if this had happened while they were back in that dungeon.
Xavier, ever the strategist, stepped forward, calm but direct.
"Would it be safe for him to use the rest of the manuals, especially the constitution ones?" he asked. "And can we tell if anyone else is at risk of something similar?"
The elders exchanged thoughtful glances.
"Lord Ollie would certainly benefit from the constitution manuals," Elder Shen confirmed, "since his body needs to keep up with his new spiritual level. As for more spiritual enhancement manuals, they should be fine—he won’t hit another breakthrough anytime soon."
Elder Feng added, "As for everyone else, the basic manuals will help strengthen them, but none of them are close enough to a breakthrough for this set to push them over the edge."
That’s when it happened.
The elders, almost casually, began murmuring among themselves.
"Well, if they’re interested in more..."
"Yes, the advanced manuals..."
The entire room fell silent.
"...Advanced manuals?" Luca whispered, wide-eyed.
The elders chuckled knowingly, bony faces tilting in amusement.
"But of course," Elder Wei said softly. "There are even legendary manuals. Cultivation always has tiers, Lord Luca."
The little golden dragon’s mouth opened slightly, not knowing how to feel about such manuals, until a sudden realization hit him!
"!!!"
"Wait, do you—do you want the manuals too? Would they work on you?"
That drew a ripple of surprise through the elders. Their eyes softened, faint light flickering through their hollow sockets.
"The people of this world," Elder Shen murmured, "seem almost too generous."
Elder Feng sighed gently. "Not at this state, my Lord. We have yet to fulfill stringent conditions before we can have better bodies. Maybe in the future, but for now..."
"Then, is there any way we could help in that?" asked the worried dungeon owner.
The touched elder turned his gaze toward Kyle, "Adjutant Kyle would likely have guesses as to why it’s temporarily impossible to share what’s needed. But we are more than grateful for the consideration and for allowing us to cultivate in peace!"
After all, what better way for farming deities to cultivate than to farm! ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
Luca frowned slightly, glancing between Kyle and the elders.
Still, he nodded. "Alright...but if there’s anything else I can give—more crystals, or anything you need—please just tell me."
The elders gave him small, gentle smiles, their faint energy warm despite their skeletal forms.
They nodded in gratitude, softly thanking him before shifting their focus.
"Uhm, but elders, what do we do with my brother now?" Luca asked hesitantly, glancing toward the blonde’s slumped, pale form.
Elder Pao Xi’s skull tilted faintly in amusement.
"It’s such a shame," he mused, "if he were awake, he could’ve taken some recovery pills and joined in for the cooking. We’ve already prepared the ingredients you requested, young lord."
"?"
The cook actually blinked before grinning as he remembered what they were supposed to be doing after the tournament! It had been a very eventful morning, and because of that, the busy heir had almost forgotten the actual main event!
"Yes! The cooking! Thank you for reminding me!"
"Son, you’re still going to cook?" Asked the worried Duchess who would rather her son just stay back after going through all that.
"Ah, Mom, it’s not really going to be difficult this time around, since I just actually need to prepare the ingredients! Everyone should ideally do the cooking, because it’s part of the experience!" He said excitedly, which made the ears of a certain someone twitch.
And off to the side, Kyle thought that this one should never be caught in a situation where he would really have to play dead, or it would be problematic.
Experience?
Experience?!
He also wanted the experience!!! Cried the now-panicked patient who really wanted to get up!
