"Come on.." Damian said simply and walked on, climbing the stairs.

Only after he had climbed five to seven steps did his group realize he was talking to them. Snapping out of their stupor, they hurried to follow him. The Britershers remained frozen in shock, staring at the massive floating structure overshadowing Somerset House—a building that had come into existence in less than half an hour in front of their eyes.

Soon, they too realized the guests were gone. Officers quickly ordered their men to notify the monarchy and government of what had transpired. Although agents of the secret service and numerous soldiers tasked with monitoring the newcomers had already witnessed everything and would file their own reports, an official account still had to go through the proper channels.

Damian decided to take half a day off. He had done too much in the past few hours and needed time to process it all. The floating residence—just like the mass healing spell—needed time to spread its effects across the city and beyond. Neither could he gather all the materials he required in a short time, nor could he craft what he had in mind within just a few days.

Even if he used Dreamlight to travel to all the world's major iron- and steel-producing powers of this era, he wouldn't be able to obtain enough for his needs. He had to share some of his advanced iron and steel-making knowledge with the world, and even with that, if he pressured them to work fast.. it would still take a minimum of a month, possibly several.

Choosing a room at random, Damian placed some of his belongings from his inventory—a spare bed, papers, and a few research books he often referenced. Outside, he had built a staircase for anyone wanting to access the upper levels of the wooden structure. For himself, however, he cut a hole in the roof and fashioned a wooden staircase leading up.

Upon climbing to the top, he conjured a small dome to shield himself from the sun and created a wooden bench beneath it to sit.

Jacob flew up, with Toph perched on his head, and landed near him, continuing their games. The Genica golem had an uncanny ability to sense him wherever he went, since it was technically alive, Damian couldn't store him inside the spatial storage, the Britishers were shocked to see a chubby metal man walking with a weird looking elephant atop it. Damian also retrieved Prince from his spatial storage, fitting a small box filled with liquid mana into the slot he had designed for it. Immediately, Prince's white golem body activated, stretching as if he had just woken from sleep.

A mana thread connected to Damian before five seconds had passed.

'Man! That was so boring!' Prince's irritating voice rang in his mind.

'Did you figure out a way to talk?' Damian asked. Then, after a second, he added, 'Were you awake the whole time in spatial storage?'

'Normal as always. I fell asleep for a while.. Wait, how long has it been?'

'Around five or six hours.'

'For me, it felt like barely an hour.'

'Spatial storage has slower time,' Damian half-replied, half-mused to himself.

'So.. I don't think using sound is possible in any way, but I guess I could use a spell to write in the air.' Prince said, answering the earlier question.

'You have a spell that can do that?'

'Of course not! If I did, I would have already used it. But I know the great Runic Monarch can craft some tools for me.. if my lord is so kind to this humble peasant.'

Damian rolled his eyes at Prince's antics. The guy was a slippery bastard, but brainstorming with him sometimes led to some good ideas.

A smirk crossed Damian's lips. He shared the memory of Franklin's ability with Prince through their link. Instantly, all movement in Prince's golem body ceased, as if he had lost all mana—but he still had plenty and the connection was still there.

'Overseer.. Level 650..' Prince's uncontrolled thoughts echoed in Damian's mind. Then his voice followed: 'Magnetism? What even is that? Wait! I remember seeing something similar in your memories..'

'What do you think?' Damian asked.

'It's a chance.. and confirmation of my suspicions,' Prince replied. 'You're the only one who can help this whole world ascend. I'd love to see how that shit works for a person—ascending to become a god. But it'll take ages before your lousy ass reaches that point.'

'You think you can do better?'

'Nah.. but you're not even actively trying. My sole focus was becoming stronger.'

'Can you still ascend?' Damian asked, intrigued.

'I can't gain experience through other bodies.. Now, can I? But I do want to try killing some monsters with this golem body you made me and see if it counts.'

Damian simply nodded. The mana thread severed. Neither spoke after that, each lost in their own thoughts.

He lazily slept through the afternoon and woke up in the evening when his friends knocked on the door. The servants had brought food.

They gathered in the large dining room Damian had constructed and ate together. The servants, though well-trained, were clearly unsettled by the sight of a metal man dressed in man's clothes freely roaming the halls. Evrin and Reize's full forms startled them even more. But Damian knew he couldn't hide them forever—it was better for people to see them now and get used to it.

The food was plentiful and delicious, everyone quite enjoyed it - though it was blande to Damian's taste. Many third-rankers enjoyed the fine wine, praising its quality.

That night, Damian didn't do much either. Along with half of his friends, he remained on the roof, enjoying the cool night air, starry sky and the view of the vast dimly lit city. They asked all sorts of odd questions about the city and its people they had thought of throughout the day, and Damian answered as best he could. The mood was lighthearted as they joked around, praised or complained about different things, and shared their thoughts.

The strange uniforms and mustache fashion amused them, while the girls admired the elegant dresses worn by the local women. Damian promised to take them sightseeing the next day—especially Evrin and Reize. He had done enough good in the city; their appearance shouldn't be as big an issue anymore. And even if it was, it wouldn't change much. The profits and power Damian and his party could bring to the empire far outweighed any discomfort they might cause.

Tomorrow, he would also set his plan into motion.
